That is a really nice model, and the display with the water makes it just that much nicer and more complete. I also really like your interior, something I have not yet made complete until now. Your rigging also looks really accurate, I only think your sails look a bit plain. My other nitpick is that the prow looks a bit too straight up. Lastly the colours of the cabin don't really match the rest of the ship, but I am unsure if you were referring to a certain colour scheme in your plans? Otherwise top notch, it certainly deserves that spot on the front page!

I really like your uhm...eggs! It is such a creative idea and not an easy build I imagine. I also really like the colours and the use of trans clear parts to make them sparkle. Well done!

That's a really decent build, it looks like an old and drafty study. The shelfs seem to be plundered and it has an abandoned feel.- 9 replies

That's a comic looking ship, it looks like it hit something and is crushed together. If that was intentional you did a really good job! I like the proper masts and sails! -

That's a strange looking vessel, but I like the hull. I think it would be better with a slightly taller mast, a bowsprit and a bow castle that is lower then the stern (I would suggest making the stern a bit higher).- 18 replies

Quite a nice little vessel! I think it would be even better with a gaff sail on the back. -
Nonsense! And his hair is waaay to modern! The scene is very well built and again I seem some creative parts use. Top notch!

What kind of ship did you have in mind when you made it? The back overhangs a bit much and it seems a bit too tall. The connection of the bowsprit seems a bit strange (flimsy). The masts are also a bit tall for just a single yard. I think there is room for improvement here. -

Man these are so great and instantly recognizable. Top notch!

Even though the ship might be a bit thin and the masts a bit short, you've created an awesome scene! I really like the sand green tentacles and the colours and detail on the ship are really nice too!

Well done! I like how you've used some clever SNOT techniques, the window hatches for example.

It's quite a nice looking ship you've made! I do wonder what type of ship you had in mind when you placed the masts? The main mast is placed a bit too far to the stern, it will be hard to handle. But this was quite a common practice on bomb ketches to make space for the massive guns.Besides that some small windows in the stern would be nice I think.

That is really a good looking ship, I love the use of the round parts as gallery roofs. It also shows the potential of using slopes. I do have some tips: -It would look nicer if the galleries were angled so they'd follow the sheer of the sip. I think it can be easily achived by dividing it into 3 or 4 sections and just placing each section 1 plate higher going to the stern -Your headrails look a bit plain and too straight at the tip of your gangways. I would try to bend the tip up slightly and add a second row of plates and some vertical support beams. -As said, the rear gunports could follow the sheer a little bit more. This seems to me like an early age galleon, so it would be correct. However, there were ships with pretty much straight decks around too. -The red and green colour combination is a bit heavy on the eyes, you might consider changing the gunports for some black or dark red flags. Some lighter sails might make it look even more realistic. You're absolutely right about the sheer and gunports! The Vasa was however, not a failed ship. The Swedish king was a failure, since he failed to listen to the great Dutchmen that build her and placed more guns on the decks then she could carry. That is why she tipped over on the maiden voyage. Heck, the quality of this ship was so good, it can still be visited today!
