Yes. I got it added to the order. And I tried this morning and it will do it again, even if it states it’s on Backorder. So don’t give up on that just because it says Backorder.

The limit is three here in the USA ?
-
Same here. Got the order through, and took my VIP code for a small LEGO set on the side, took my money but nowhere is the confirmation email yet ?... At least I took a snap shot with my phone of the order number if it goes south. I do agree though, this takes away from the fun of buying a “special” set on opening night... It’s frustrating...

Two hours and 15 minutes before we can order !!! Gorgeous picture and scenery !!! It makes me a little homesick seeing it.

I think it would be day of release, so the 1st of July. Maybe late on the 30th if you’re on the USA westcoast like me ?....

You’re right. I kept the set myself. I only have box five and six left. So just the nose and doors and wheels. I’m liking it a lot and the color of the pieces is not too bad. It looked my set got checked before being packed. It has white stickers with adjusted set information in the outside of the box; and it came with a small pink colored sticker/tag On it as well; like someone did a quality check on it ? I do notice that LEGO has been a little Scrooge about the extra pieces in this set. No extra pin connectors or a lot of extra small pieces at all !... Overall pretty happy so far and an interesting build. I as impressed with the packaging too. A big sturdy box with cardboard padding on both short ends...

Well, give yourself a few more days and you’ll be able to look at the parts list from this set. I think the only two other colors they were used in were red and dark green. I would only go for the dark green ( because I don’t like red “anything’s”... except maybe women ?... ) It would be nice to buy two of them and convert one of them to the green and then have them in “tandem operation” on the (big; now two together) stand together....

So, I’m getting my Lamborghini delivered today. But with all the negative feedback, about all the colors, the missing (!) pieces everywhere and the book falling apart;... I’m tempted to put mine on Bricklink for $415.00 for the USA. There are none for the US for sale, and I’m tempted to wait for later sets now, so they can rectify their problems ?... What do you guys think of that idea ?...
-
Yes, three... That’s ok; I’m planning on getting two or three as well... Besides, these loco’s were running a lot in tandem together, so getting two and putting them behind each other would be looking like real life,... and awesome; I just have to “fudge” with the serial number of the second one somehow, since you can’t have two identical numbers next to each other ?...
-
And that’s why a couple of members already hinted to buy the two items on Bricklink; in some earlier posts here... I did as well; for both for around $40.00 instead of paying almost $80.00 at LEGO...

I checked; and they had 14 people looking at it when I was there too. Not sure if they would ship to the US or Europe, but checking all the stores in the UK for store stock; they don't seem to have any ???...

Switzerland ?? is so pretty; every time I see these locomotives in their native background I would like to go home and hang out for a while...
-
Try Bricklink two days after release ?...
-
... And the Lamborghini as well... All sets that were on my list; and now I can add this Crocodile to it...

Agreed. All my canon carrier brackets from my (pirate) ships have cracked assembling them a couple of years later. The same happened with brown bricks in one of the Winter Village sets. When I inquired about the WV set they knew that the brown bricks from that era had drying/cracking problems. Now I just have to contact them about all the canon carrier brackets I have. And I have a lot because I bought extra to fill all the canon positions in all those ships.

Copies ? I’m thinking of two or three myself. All the other trains are now hugely profitable if you have any more copies.

Many years ago they had a similar color problem with the 8043 (motorized excavator) set. My yellow digger had a two-tone colorscheme in yellow; and they fixed it for sending me a new set of panels. Then of course later on they had to sent everyone a new set of 4 LA as well; since those had a friction problem as well... The morale of this is that LEGO has had problems before, and that they are quite good and fast in fixing them... However; this sounds like it's affecting all the sets, so it will be interesting to see what they do about that ?... It sounds more and more to me that I should cancel my order, and wait for a while. Both Europeans and Australians are now complaining about this Lamborghini Sian set "experience"; and I'm getting that it mostly is not pleasant. Maybe now I should be happy that the Americas are "loosing out" a little over the rest of the world ?... That way LEGO can "recall" all sets and fix them before I get mine. I'm adding to the list: 1) Set availability issues (release planning), 2) Color differences, 3) 20t Gear size issues, 4) Gearbox and drivetrain issues, 5) Instruction steps issues, 6) Instruction manual integrity issues, 7)... I'll keep adding and seriously thinking about waiting a couple of months ?... I really want the set; but I don't want to be disappointed and/or angry all the time either...
