  1. Not working on the US site I think ?...
  2. No worries mate. I remember ordering the Technic Lamborghini around 2200 West Coast time as well; so I think I’ll get to order at 21:00 and it’ll be 00:00 for you.
  3. Now that’s interesting news. 3am East Coast mean they wait until the whole US is at 1 September before releasing the sets. Since there is a five hour time difference between Hawaii and New York... I’ll have to wait until 0000 before it comes available in Southern California then...
  4. Or you can get more 16x32 and turn them 90 degrees while you build the set.
  5. And I guess we get 14 mini figures with this set. But I don’t understand why Hagrid (again) is not “taller” than the other “adults” in the set ? He’s supposed to be taller right, like a giant ?.. Correct. 24 x 19 x 4.5 to 6 inches. Like I mentioned before.
  6. I think it’s the same size as the castle. Not that small at all A4 is slightly less wide and slightly longer in size from the standard 8.5 x 11 inch used in the US. I’ll bet this box is 24 inches long, 19 inches high and about 4.5 to 6 inches deep. Just like the Harry Potter castle... Personally a size I don’t like that much; it’s huge and a hard size to find good cardboard boxes for to store these sets in. Although Uline here in the US has a lot of matching options.
  7. Exactly what I did. Yes, I got my certificate. It’s going to be a pain in the megablocks; but they told me to keep checking in every day, because the link stays valid, even after you filled in your name and serial number. After about a week I got lucky and it popped up. And printed it right away. I know that other people had problems as well; and if you look back through this thread (I don’t know how many pages) you’ll find a shortcut provided to get the page as well. You could give that a try as well ? Good luck; I found this very frustrating as well, after waiting for my copy for almost two months. I wanted that certificate on the wall with the other two as well. No, it’s not. There should be a certificate as well.
  8. The sizes of the baseplates are identical to Modular buildings; except half as deep. So the whole thing will be 4x 32 studs wide, and only 16 studs deep. It it is only 16 studs deep it should fit easily on a normal bookshelf. You just have to make sure the width of the shelf is wide enough, I guess... Am I wrong or does this make sense ?...
  9. Yes. I did. I asked LEGO and they told me that they had problems with the “Certificate” link. So there should be a certificate coming up as well. They might turn it on later again ?...
  10. Of course,... no worries.
  11. That would be a great thing;... if it looks good it will be more popular later on, and thus easier to sell and for more money !...
  12. Months after a botched Technic Lamborghini Sian release;... I think we better get ready for something even bigger than that. I think it's safe to assume that Harry Potter has a much bigger audience than Technic; thus a much bigger demand for this set. We better get ready, as in prepared for the disappointment, to not be able to get one for many weeks; especially here in the USA. But they will get my money, it will be my third HP set;... I will add this one to my collection (some day ?) !!!
  13. That’s how I do it with all my sets. I even make numbered ziplock baggies for the parts.
  14. Agreed ! I'm from The Netherlands and this IS still one of my favorite locomotives ever built. I remember as a little boy that my dad used to drop me off at the railway station in Switzerland, while he went shopping with my mom, so that I could walk around in the railyard and watch the crocodiles move along... Used to do the same in the Austrian mountains as well... Ah,.. those are good memories to have and to think back on while I'm currently living in the California westcoast "desert" and be locked up because of "Coronavirus mishandling",... Yes, Trump, that was towards you !!!
  15. @THERIZE is right. Originally these loco’s were used to haul heavy freight trains in the Swiss mountains. They were articulated built because of the tight hairpin turns to climb the mountains. I’m using a whole set of hopper cars behind the Crocodile. I liked the hopper cars in one of LEGO’s last good trains; and made myself some copies in a different color.
  16. I got some blue hopper cars made after the LEGO ones from a few years back. They look nice with the ?...
  17. They are going to if they sell enough of them. Look in the back of the instruction booklet. They specifically ask for people’s feedback if “we want this train-line to continue”...
  18. I ordered two of these, half a day apart. The first one will be here on Wednesday, but the second one states “Waiting for new stock” at the LEGO website order tracking. I guess I squeezed one through and then they ran out of them completely ?... That might last for a month, just like the Lamborghini...
  19. My Krokodil will arrive on Tuesday the 7th. Right after my long holiday US weekend, but that’s ok. I have a question for the Powered Up Gurus here: Is it possible to use the app of the Krokodil to control two locomotives; each locomotive with its own motor and hub. in other words; can the single app control two different hub/motor setups ?...
  20. I just finished my Sián built. No problems at all; slight color differences in the small pieces but not horrible. No missing parts like other people said. No mistakes in the instructions, everything seems to be right. And most of all; my Sián drives perfectly in any gear without clicking noises or grinding to a halt ??? When I get back home from work I will post a review on LEGO’s website. There were a lot of people complaining about this set; and I think it was awesome. There are not a lot of extra pieces on this box; but everything you need was there.
  21. One question for anyone who already has the set: I noticed that the tile code doesn’t give you a certificate this time; like the Porsche and Bugatti did, is that correct ? I’m slightly disappointed by that because I like have those hanging framed on the wall...
  22. Mine still "in warehouse" mode... But it means I still have a whisker of a chance that I made it through before they ran out of them... Here's on hoping that I'm right....
  23. So I ordered one last night at around 22:30 my time westcoast US. It states that it is in warehouse. And I ordered another one this morning about twenty minutes ago that now states “waiting for new stock”; and the website says “will ship in 60 days”... I guess LEGO is out of “? Locomotives” for the US now too ?... But I should get the first one I’m hoping ?...
