  1. Agreed. I noticed this problem with the color yellow and red as well. 8043 had some yellow issues... It’s going to be even more fun to replace them all when the model is finished...
  2. I think it was at 00:00 EST... but I’m not 100% sure.
  3. I’m ok with it; it is in the end a discussion forum ?... Here’s my point; mostly for the sets that will follow:... If it is 18+, maybe LEGO should try to make the chassis one color, the body one color (including the pins, etc. that you can see from the outside) and the engine/gearbox one color... I remember fondly the Volvo RC loader which had the nice green engine parts (I know that’s according to the real life brother, but it shows it’s possible...). It would be beautiful to have the outside all be the color of the paneling of that particular model: In case of the Lamborghini it would have been a sleek look if all the “body-included-and-visible” parts would have been in Lime green... But Technic has always been like this; and I still love it this way too. Maybe something LEGO could think of in the future for sets that are more of a “show piece” than a “play toy” ?... And these cars are more the first than the latter... I’ll be ordering at midnight come the last day of May !...
  4. No, I think you're about right. But it sounds to me that you're planning on missing this Lamborghini, and I think that could be a big mistake... (Just think a moment on all the buyers who left "Cafe Corner" alone when the modular buildings came out; and what those now sell for,... even used !)...
  5. I agree. Have both the Porsche and the Bugatti. I have the treehouse; and am eyeing Pirate Bay and Haunted House as well... But this Lamborghini is definitely moving up to the first place on the "wanted/buy" list !
  6. I’m in the US as well; on south California coast, and both the LEGO stores in San Diego and La Jolla are open for “curbside pickup”... I’m intending to give them a call soon and ask how that would work; since both of the stores are not really curbside; but buried inside a “shopping mausoleum”... Otherwise it will be online, and in the worst case I’ll have to wait a little bit... Still, overall quite;...H...A...P...P...Y...
  7. I’ll say it again:... I’m... H...A...P...P...Y... !!!
  8. It’s true that a lot of people lost their job. I work as an engineer in healthcare, so I still have a job. Also a job that could be dangerous. Both my wife and I still get paid normally and are on the frontline doing so; so I think I’m allowed to spent, when I still can. But I do agree with you otherwise. If the job was gone I would not buy this one; better yet, I would, and probably had to, be selling my other sets as well. Hope you stay healthy as well... Interesting. Ok, sorry, maybe you’re right. I could definitely be wrong; it happened before...
  9. Bugatti is 3599. The Sian is not 3969 but instead 3696 parts... I’m not sure what the box art said of the Sian box images earlier in the thread. I would be surprised if it had that many more parts anyways ?...
  10. Correct, that makes the part count between Lamborghini and Bugatti less then 100 different.
  11. I’m sold... LEGO; you can have my money again ! Definitely getting one, but maybe even two sets... I did so with the Porsche as well. Awesome looking model; by far the best of the three (which makes sense because they should get better every time !) “...I’m,...H...A...P...P...Y...”
  12. And so is the little luggage addition... ... And we have a real “Frunk” lid this time as well...
  13. OMG !!! The back of the car looks awesome !!! Like amazingly cool; so good !
  14. Ok. I forgot the Porsche had red ones. It does look like there is push rod suspension on the car; or am I just dreaming with my eyes open ? And what is the deal about the turquoise pins ?... Different function because of the new color; or just color change ?...
  15. Are the red parts suspension related ? It looks like there are two red springs on each wheel. Is red a stronger version of the yellow ones ? And at least we have more disc brakes in the wheels again, like the Bugatti. You can see it good in these pictures.
  16. Nobody has seen the back of this car yet, and I guess now we can wait a little more until tomorrow; but I really hope that that looks similar to the real one at least. They did good with the Bugatti rear end, I thought, so I hope they don’t spoil this one. I’m scared it might ruin my “ want to add to the collection” feeling, if it doesn’t look great or on point... I wonder how many “Off Roaders” I would have to Bricklink to swap all the panels to metallic green ?...
  17. I looked up the difference in part count between the Bugatti and this coming Lambo; it’s less than 100 pieces, and probably most of them are connectors I’m guessing. So I think it’s fair to say that they are the same size; in size and also in parts count. The opening doors might need some extra pins to be solid ?...
  18. Thank you ! I agree that if I would search for it, it probably come up right away. So far, I like the lime box ! And thankful for my age right now; I do have enough “dough” at this age, in my life, to keep buying these sets for now. So I’m excited for this one; but still will read some reviews first. it might just go the Porsche way; you call them at 00:00, and all the sets are pulled of the shelf after half an hour;... I think that had to do with the packaging of the manuals I think ?...
  19. I’m an old man so forgive me;... but do we know where the reveal of the set is at ? Is it just at the website, LEGO.com, internet,... where exactly ? I’m confused... (...and even older now...)
  20. Ok, so it looks like the fancy DRL “Y” are probably GITD alright; they are just round pieces stuck inside some eye pieces. And they look suspiciously white, so I think they are GITD ?... And looking at the doors; I guess we don’t get them “finished” like the Bugatti; it’s all Technic beam I see there, and nothing smooth with stickers... Fits the Lamborghini’s race car name better than the “posh” Bugatti, but it’s a little of a downside ?...
  21. I woke up this morning and the first thing that came to mind is: Only one day to Lamborghini reveal !... But since I’m currently in “lockdown” on the California coast;... the news is actually better than that. It’s one day less 9 hours to be exact !... Yay !!! I’m so happy... Good morning fellow Eurobrickers !!! True;... but my favorite pub here is still,... let’s call it,... “closed”.
  22. Agreed,...that’s why I said “Definitely not likely”... ...even the lights might just be GITD at best ?...
  23. Well,... if it actually would come with some electric (daytime running “Y”) lights,... then they are not that far away of adding a small electric motor (that could be strong enough to run at least the V-12 engine in the car ?)... Definitely not likely; but possible and cool...
  24. Wow !!! I choose Purple, then Lime and then Teal. But we al know already it’s going to be the Lime green... But I sure like it in Purple though !!!....
