That was interesting to read; and I did look into it. I did the same thing and got confirmation as well, for twice the points on the "new" order. So if Lego gets this right, (and I DID get an confirmation that the first order was cancelled ), and I don't end up with an extra set, this was totally worth it... @squiz18 Thanks for this heads up ! Good, and smart, idea ! It looks the same for me;... with both the largest sets close to being "sold out" ?... I refreshed the page twice; and now the "Vampire Castle" shows the line starting over slightly, before the "funded" mark...

The remote control is sold out in the US after a 40% (!) discount. I would have gotten one of those if I knew earlier ??? I really wonder what is going on ? Cargo train is Sold Out as well in the US after a 20% discount. That would have been nice for (just) $159.00 ! Missed that one too⦠I wonder if they will bring a new Cargo Train again in 2025 ?

I noticed the same yesterday !⦠the 88009 hub is heavily discounted on the US site, and wonāt ship until March. I ordered two of them for the $35.00 price. But itās the second time in just over a month that they are āon saleā ?⦠It would suck incredibly if Lego decided to do something completely different again. And it would make them look like fools if they backtrack to PF ? So I second this, Iām slightly worried about this happening right now. I just bought some keybricks as well to power these hubs way more efficiently. Not cheap, but so much better and easier than batteries.

I got the Mountain Fortress in round one, as the āopposite sideā to the Lion Castle. Because of that I will skip all the next round of Castle themed sets. Iām eyeing the Art of Chocolate as well; but am worried that itās just too much money maybe ? But that set would look really good in any Winter Village setup, and I really am fond of that kind of integration. It also was the reason that a few years ago I got the Alpine Chalet. That one is still gorgeous and makes me want to go home on vacation every time I see it.

Ok. First impression. Set got delivered yesterday as promised, in the right time window as well. Shipping box looks very good and undamaged, which is an improvement. Btw, my shipping company was UPS, and I have the idea that they might be slightly more careful than FedEx is ? I didnāt open the box yet, but any damage to the set (if there is at all) is not coming from shipping I think, but from packing it damaged into the shipping box. Iāll update later today on the set condition itself. Oh, in case youāre wondering, I just ordered the Mountain Fortress. (Sometimes when you buy more than one set, they combine them into one box and then shipping damage is much more likely ?)

Yes, turnaround after notifications is fast this time. My set should arrive today. Hope it arrives in decent enough shape ?⦠That always worries me with every wave⦠Im just saying; the thing that makes these sets different is the box itself, and the fact theyāre not designed by Lego. So missing out on a decent box is a disappointment to me. Iām a collector of sets; and these boxes make these sets stand out. was not saying anything about the pieces, youāre right that buying the pieces loose would be way more expensive. But to me, itās literally a āpackage dealā š

I think they might. I know from earlier years that people got there set orders randomly cancelled it seemed ? I just got charged for my Mountain Fortress. Until this one, I donāt have it yet š¤,⦠none of these Bricklink sets were (heavily) damaged when they got to me. But if one arrives crushed, etc. I will make sure the set goes back and Iāll get my money back ? I rather not have the set at all, than have a completely damaged/destroyed box ?!⦠Part of the exclusivity is the fact that it comes in these different boxes; without that it might as well be a āBrickpicker orderā š¤·āāļø

Interesting thought. I bought this Mountain Fortress as the āopposite sideā to the Lion Knights Castle. š In round two I got the Station, and then I will be much more picky in deciding which one to buy; there are too many that are good, and Lego isnāt helping with their own releases either. I canāt afford them all, and storage is going to be hard tooā¦

It feels better organized ! š And thatās great after last year, where it was the same email over and over again every week. This feels more streamlined, organized and caring than last year; which is great ! Now I hope it stays like that for all the next rounds too ?ā¦ šš» Bring on the Mountain Fortress ! š„°š¤Ŗ

Two things I like to bring up. 1. I bought a few KeyBricks in Germany; and Iām a very big fan of them. If youāre tired of dealing with šŖ« batteries, this is a good (slightly expensive, but itāll pay back itself !) solution. 2. Jay is mentioning that the 60336 train might retire soon. If this is true, are we getting a replacement freight train then ? And will it still be PUp ?⦠āā¦Thats all folksā¦ā š

Keybrick One / Rechargeable battery pack for Powered Up
Wimmer replied to keybrickone's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Iām in the US, and found Keybrick āby accidentā while looking up something about the old power functions 8878 pack. I have ordered 3 of the Keybrick Oneās and have been playing with them in the Crocodile, and the City Freighttrain. Yes, shipping was $38 to Southern California; but Iām already happy I did, and donāt have to go to Costco anymore to buy gigantic packs of batteries šŖ«, that then empty out pretty quickly. I have two trains on them, bought three bricks so one of them can charge while Iām using one, or two, of them. Iām happy with them, and the power modes as well. Now I just hope you guys at Keybrick will make something for the battery hub thatās in the Ideas lighthouse ? šš»š -
TLG Licensed Merchandise Concept Ideas Survey

Ok. Also done with this. A bit tedious at times. But I would love a nice coffee table book to go with the Technic Ferrari book. And I also would want an upscaled Lego ālanternā lamp !!! Probably a few of them to hang in my āpirate š“āā ļø coveā⦠š -
That one will get sold I think. Iām with you, I look at it and like it, but not enough to order it. I was on the fence for Snack shack and Train Shed, but that decision was made for me⦠š I have the Fortress to look forward to now as thatās great. And then the station in the next round of course !!!

Love the castle, and it would be great to put next to the LKC; and it looks awesome. But itās too much money I think for what you get. The train shed is lovely too, and Iām debating that one. Parisian street is nice on the outside but the build is plain and too simple in my eyes, no steps inside to different floors, half the depth of a modular building and not all the details. I would buy the new Modular Museum over this one I think. A lot of decisions in the last few days. I know history told us; you only have a few hours to decide come Wednesday, a lot of the other sets didnāt last past a few hours only. š¬

Correct. My Venetian Houses has number 23O2 on the tape tabs. I think they are more a packaging date indication then a āserialā number⦠Here is an explanation I found on other eurobricks forums⦠The first two numbers are the week of the year⦠The letter is the Country of packing (O is for Billund, Denmark)⦠The last number is the last number of the year of production. So a 2 means 2022
