  1. I thought the Mushroom House was cute, but didn't pull the trigger right away. When I went back to look again, it was sold out. Totally my fault, but I do regret not getting one. I'm just not used to the idea of affordable & cute Lego sets that I want selling out so fast. Maybe next time I'll snag something.
  2. Regardless of what they mean, thanks for the links because I hadn't seen most of them.
  3. Already a supporter! I think the penny pinchers at Lego would have heart attacks if they saw this many transparent and printed pieces in a set.
  4. Nice! Wow, this is your 4th alt/multi build? That means I missed one somewhere. The other two I've seen are also great. EDIT: Ahh, I have seen all four -- I forgot about your Galaxy Explorer MOC which is even cooler now that I'm looking at it again. Yeah, I'm especially surprised at how nicely the part works in the nose cone. IMO your MOC really proves how much the Interstellar Spaceship already looked like a YF-23.
  5. For you lore lovers, someone posted pics of all the space pages from the latest Lego City Magazine. There's 14 pages of a full color Space comic and some other good stuff. https://www.reddit.com/gallery/1cv588w
  6. The only way I'd suspect that a 420 piece count was a drug reference was if the set was something like this: Otherwise, it's just a coincidence and nobody should care. 😁 Funnily enough, set number 420 is a police car.
  7. I called it trans neon yellow forever. I didn't know Lego considered it yellow! I guess we're not crazy then.
  8. I think I like trans bright green better than trans neon green generally. And I agree trans neon green it is too yellow. However I like trans neon orange much more than regular trans orange.
  9. Wow, this is really good! Smart to build the leftover parts into a stand.
  10. Whoa, that brick built ankylosaurus is awesome. Perfect example of why I prefer brick built to moulded dinos.
  11. Love these! Especially the big one which looks like an upgrade to the Beta-1 Command Base ship.
  12. What's with the hostility? I've tried to drop it. If it's tired why did you bring it back up?
  13. Bwa ha ha! Love the mech! I hope they make a Tie mech next. And then a death star mech, and R2 mech...give me all the SW mechs. The more ridiculous, the better! I wonder if that bunker set has anything interesting going on in the back.
  14. Nah. I've had my opinions questioned to death. Just accept them and move on, and these arguments wouldn't go on forever. My opinions are fine, it's the bizarrely defensive overreactions to them that are tiring.
  15. That means that having the word City on the box matters and affects how people feel about the set. So why is everyone else telling me that having City on the box doesn't matter and shouldn't affect how I feel about the set?
  16. Lol. I've beaten it to death, but you still want to debate it? There's no debate. I think it's weird and dumb that 2024 Space sets are also City sets. Everyone else is free to disagree. End of discussion.
  17. Why do you care enough to reply? You were the first to jump all over me when I voiced a very reasonable opinion so you don't get to feign disinterest here.
  18. Yes, agreed on all counts. So clearly, these are nothing like traditional City sets. If they were just Space sets, they'd make more sense, and I wouldn't be confused as to what the lore is supposed to be. The slow creep of city sets from NASA rockets to moon bases (60350) to mars spaceships (60354) to 2024's interstellar space ships & aliens has me really confused as to how far into the future the sets are supposed to be. And since they say Space too I don't even know if they're based on Earth or what. Lol, so that's what you meant. Personally, I want a hoverboard!
  19. Lol. You do live in that world. Please peruse the 1978-2023 Lego Town/City catalog and tell me why you think City isn't based on modern day Earth.
  20. Honest question, are you just trolling?
  21. If the box on a Space set says City, that HUGELY affects the lore. At the very least it strongly implies the set contains modern day astronauts in the Solar System. There really is no denying that. People will still deny it, but that just means they will lose any credibility.
  22. It's funny to me that people care this much about unofficial lore from interviews, but tell me that I'm weird for caring that the official boxes that Space sets come in say City.
  23. If Lego is going to make Classic Space men, they need to produce the air tanks. They have been sitting down for 40 years with air tanks, so there's no excuse. Any harshness in my tone is directed at Lego of course, not you @Classic_Spaceman.
