[TC23] wheels
Bluehose replied to higgins91's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I like the box particulary, it's well designed It took me some time to see why there is caterpillar chain in the two first wheels -
Nothing on your build obviously, sorry for my bad english But it's quite common that when this differential is used in other build, just the 24 teeth end is used or just the 16 teeth end is used. This make this park look misadapted in general. (But not on your build) You need the 24 teeth end / 24 teeth gear to have the good spacing with the motor (and less power loss annd less bulky than if you did 16 teeth end / 16 teeth gear / 16 teeth gear) And you need the 16 teeth end as a link between both differentials because you need gears without a cross hole and using the 24 teeth end with them would be more bulky. In conclusion in this case the differential look like an optimal designed piece which make the whole look even more beautiful, LEGO itself never did that imo

I love the result, you did a lot of work on this one ! But I'n not good at listening english, so I have questions on your video : *did you said you were breaking linear actuator ? If so did you try to coupling several linear actuator for the direction ? Did you keep just one for aestethic reasons ? *I like A LOT you did keep a complete driveline even with the constraints and not choose the easy way with one pf xl by wheel *do you use a buwizz with two L pf motor for propulsion ? *one stiff way to use these helical springs in a suspension is to use an horizontal 11x5 frame as lever, put an axle at one end fixed with a 1x2 beam with perpandicular hole at each side, then a gearing then the spring with pre-constraint by turning it to the max before, and you can adjust the gearing and pair several springs for the same lever *with these big wheel and torque you have some stair-climbing potential, if you frame a video of it climbing (small ?) step it would be a big exclusivity in the lego world ! Keep posting there for a gook time please and indeed it's some zerobricks-like stuff !

Rotating Paddles
Bluehose replied to Charbel's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hello, I replicate it (but with a different column of wheel because I couldn't see it) and the return to center had a little problem on mine : if you pull too far on the paddle, it doesn't return to the center. So I suggest a 1x1 beam limiter (at least on the replicate) which stop the moving 1x5 beam putted at this place : https://ibb.co/VvMH35N[/img] Big up for you two, it's a wonderful feature ! -
[TC19] - Hybrid (2WD)
Bluehose replied to nikolyakov's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hello, the link to this page from the result tc19 topic doesn't work. Maybe you should specify it's a 2wd, your fork is so narrow that I didn't saw it, and like you see in the comments it's the function which should get you votes. By the way I don't understand how the front drive works. -
So, I don't want to make a new topic because my project is not so avanced, but I need some informations on NXT which I can't find. I would like control the lego racer batterie pack (2.4ghz), at least the main output with proportionnal control, with a NXT, and control in the same time this NXT with a bluetooth, wifi or 2.4ghz gamepad Does someone could point me on some ressource related ?
