Eight sets for Disney in January 2025, according to Fateful (on Instagram). -
According to Fateful, we are getting 19 Friends sets in January.

This trailer shows that the Space construction mech is already built when the green robot escapes (Bytz just modifies it with go-kart skates); also, the criminal called “The Collector” may be who is attacking/chasing Wanda and Bytz on Planet X, since that would explain the stasis field beams.

I find it rather funny that LEGO City has developed a very serious terrorism problem that only ever gets played off as “X-Treme pranks”!! We are so far removed from the Post-9/11 era that No Face planting a bomb on a plane is acceptable for a kids’ series - That would have been unheard of in the 2000’s! Wanda and Bytz confirmed; Mech Max and Just Jason, not necessarily. According to Fateful on IG (reliable source), we are getting 20 sets for City in January 2025.

Fateful confirms on IG that we are getting six sets in January (we already know the names, but it was not clear that we were only getting the six that we know about). -
Most Ninjago waves sound basically the same just based on names, though, so it will come down to execution as always. I hope that Zane’s $20 92-part mech is similar to Jay’s $10 78-part mech from this year, and the set includes a decent number of Minifigs (Zane, another Ninja, and a couple of villain ‘figs) and maybe a small side-build. The PPP would be much more forgivable if the set functioned as a small battle pack!

Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
Classic_Spaceman replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Unironically, I expect 2-3 of these to be mechs. Hopefully they at least make sense for the characters (like the War Machine mech), and that we get some cool new characters and/or variants (maybe some X-Men? Brown Wolverine, perhaps?). A Cable mech would actually go hard (bulky mechanical left arm, ridiculously oversized gun, brickbuilt pouches everywhere, etc!), though it is a less likely possibility. -
Fate(ful) has smiled on us today, and we now have a list of names, prices, and part-counts for Ninjago’s January 2025 wave! 71823: Kai’s Dragon Spinjitzu / 54 pieces / $10 71824: Sora’s Dragon Spinjitzu / 56 pieces / $10 71826: Dragon Spinjitzu Double Pack / 186 pieces / $20 71827: Zane’s Battle Mech / 92 pieces / $20 71828: Lloyd’s Race Car / 181 pieces / $30 71829: Lloyd’s Forest Dragon / 128 pieces / $20 71830: Kai’s Storm Rider Mech / 333 pieces / $40 71831: Ninja Spinjitzu Temple (4+) / 158 pieces / $40 71833: Ras’ Storm Jet / 510 pieces / $50 71834: Zane’s Ultra Combo Mech / 1187 pieces / $100 71841: Dragonian Storm Village / 305 pieces / $40 It looks like “Dragon Spinjitzu” will be the new gimmick, and possibly a new technique that the Ninja learn in Season 3; Lord Ras survives and continues to be an antagonist (not a surprise, but still a bit of a spoiler), and the villains are storm-themed. Considering that Nokt has blue markings (possibly storm elemental?) and physically resembles the Island Keepers, maybe their species is called “Dragonians” and they (or at least some of them) will return as the villain army in DR S3. 🤔

Unpopular Opinions about LEGO

Look at her beside Harry in even lighting - Her skin is a bit darker and lacks the pink undertones that Harry (light nougat) has. Cara Dune was rendered in nougat, despite Gina Carano being white; the new medium tan would have been perfect for her, but it was not in production at the time. -

A bit short in the back, but it works! I forgot that was still in production (since Lloyd has been using the headband version of his hair). -

I assume that ten of those are Marvel and one is DC (Jonkler mech?)! In seriousness, I assume that one of these will be the CA:CW set (probably airport battle). -

Somehow, I forgot that! 😬 Plo would fit better in the ARC-170 (with Jag). -
It will probably just end up being No Face; she (as revealed in the finale) was the main villain of the first season, and the main colour that she uses in her crimes is magenta (similar to the colour of the energy bolts). No Face could just be testing the No Limits crew again, and since we also see a jailbreak in the trailer (though not of No Face), she could conceivably escape at some point in the season. I would absolutely love space pirates, though, and I hope that if they appear, we actually get them in physical form (unlike the teal and lime jetpack pieces that Wanda and Bytz wear!).

Way too many Minifigs to be realistic! My guesses are either TPM (Anakin, Artoo, and maybe a third ‘fig) or Mando (Mando, Grogu, R5-D4). Also, Droidekas are too complex builds for a 4+ set. My bet is: Named Clone pilot (Jag or Oddball), generic Clone pilot, Astromech, Jedi (Plo Koon if Jag, maybe Shaak Ti if Oddball). LEGO likes to mix things up a bit, so I doubt that we will get a lineup of just Clones. Additionally, as neckwear is considered too advanced a technique for 4+ sets, he would not have his cape if he were to appear. We are drowning in Artoos, so I am fine with him being excluded! A RotS (late TCW) Anakin would also pair well with any RotS Obi-Wan that we could get later in the year (maybe a new General Grievous chase, or he could appear in the ARC-170). His existing one is fine for TCW, though we need a new one for RotS; the Old Luke mullet is decent, but we really need something with bangs. -
You are welcome, though I am really just speculating based on the shots seen in the trailer (though given the short format of the series and the content of the first season, I think my synopsis is very close to what the actual episode will be).

LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Classic_Spaceman replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The set is an amalgamation of scenes; Thrawn is present when Morgan gets her tattoos, Ezra is absent for the Ahsoka vs. Morgan duel, and Ahsoka is absent from Ezra’s leap of faith. The main Minifig-related issue with the set for me is that they did not give us a version of Sabine with arm printing (or even just toss the existing one in) - She is a major part of two of the scenes depicted in the set!! That set was odd overall, though, and adventure Padmé, Sheev, and Fox are more marketable than the scene-accurate lineup of Scipio Padmé, Rush Clovis, and Commander Thorn. I am expecting it to be RotS, not TCW, but Shaak Ti would actually make a good addition to a Battle of Coruscant ARC-170! Either way, though, we would need a new Clone Pilot helmet mould (I suppose that the old one with a printed head would work, but something larger with a moulded visor would be better). -
They are included in other sets - Mech Max was in the 2023 custom car garage, Bytz is in the 2023 downtown and 2024 robot world coaster (along with No-Face), Wanda About is in the new sightseeing bus, and Just Jason is in the harbour.

The trailer for LEGO City: No Limits is up, and it looks like we will be getting a Space episode along with some lore. It looks like the No Limits crew has been working on the Space vehicles and equipment (we see the exploration rover in the background of Mech Max’s garage). The green robot from the base seems to go haywire and escape in the car from 60415, and Bytz builds the construction mech (with the 60400 go-karts as skates!) to chase it down. The robot ends up on Planet X and befriends one of the blob aliens, and Wanda About heads there to retrieve it (riding one of the space-horses from the magazine comic). We get some good shots of the base and mining facilities on the planet (most of the modules are the bottom portion of the main base, with the pods stacked on or around; both the base and science lab themselves appear as well), along with some City Space 2024 recolours of a few of the 2018 mining vehicles. The base has some kind of energy shield, so we can add that to the list of technologies that the City Space team has! Also, Wanda and Bytz are seen running with interesting-looking guns, while fleeing from purple energy beams. These beams seem to generate a stasis field around objects that they hit, so whoever is chasing them seems to want to capture them (or steal crystals/batteries/equipment from the Space team).
