Disney Properties 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
Classic_Spaceman replied to Soupperson1's topic in LEGO Licensed
After seeing the latest Lightyear trailer, I am somewhat disappointed that we are not getting Zurg's ship, in addition to more accurate Minifigs (Darby and Mo should have entirely green and blue armour respectively, and Darby should have mid-legs). That said, I also think that there has been enough material (characters/vehicles/locations) shown in just the trailers that LEGO could have made an entire line. Hopefully, the movie will be successful enough that we get at least one more set. -
Mostly - I have had some things come up over the past week, as well as having more issues with Depression than I usually do. 😕 I have blocked-out time to actually get caught-up, so I should be back to posting normally tomorrow (Friday - or Saturday at the very latest). Thank you for checking in - I appreciate it! How have you been?

LEGO Star Wars 2022 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Classic_Spaceman replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I just realised that the screenshot that PromoBricks used in their video today is of a post made by a PromoBricks editor. Cody is still TBD, but I think that this is basically confirmation that the AT-TE will include 212th Clones. Dark Orange, perhaps? 🤔 -

PromoBricks posted another clip in their Instagram story today: A picture of customised Obi-Wan and 212th Clone Minifigs, with General Grievous’ theme as the audio. To me, this is a hint that the AT-TE will be a RotS Utapau set. Vaughn would be the easiest to do, since he only needs a new helmet and torso print, and if the helmet is dual-moulded, it would allow LEGO to keep the white/orange moulding. -

10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set
Classic_Spaceman replied to R0Sch's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
IMO, the castle needs to have at least four horses, since there were four in the original set from which this one seems to be drawing inspiration. Not all of them need to be Lion Knights, but fewer than four horses overall would be a bit frustrating. A goat seems likely to me, both due to its popularity, and to the fact that the mould can be reused in a CMF (Series 23, perhaps?). A cart with a new design, drawn by a cow (in what seems to be Nougat), and containing a farmer with a new torso, appears at 0:36 of the DeLorean announcement video, so I can see a cow appearing in the Anniversary castle.- 2,976 replies

We are getting precisely this, which lends more credibility to the AT-TE clip. -

I actually hope that we do not get Anakin in this set, since previous AT-TEs have only included five Minifigs (though we might get more this time, since LEGO seems to be counting Battle Droids as less than an entire Minifig lately). With five full Minifig slots, we could get Obi-Wan (if the set is based on Yerbana, LEGO may reuse the scorched robe print), Cody, two standard 212th Troopers, and one 212th Airborne Trooper. Anakin can appear in any number of other sets, so his inclusion in the AT-TE would be a waste of space, IMO. -

I did not see it - Was that this year? If so, it would be rather apt, since we are getting Sirius Black in multiple sets. Also, another thought about the AT-TE: In TCW, we see both an AT-TE and a Dwarf Spider Droid on Yerbana shortly before RotS begins. Additionally, since the Minifig lineup for a Yerbana set would be largely the same as for an Utapau set (Obi-Wan, Cody, 212th Troopers), it could be mistaken for RotS. -

I saw it - While not a confirmation, I am not sure why a reliable source would post an edited clip that suggests that we are getting a RotS AT-TE rather than an AotC one, unless they actually have evidence to that end. -

Has PromoBricks made joke/troll posts before, though? I was under the impression that they are consistently reliable. 😕 -

I just thought of something else; the least likely option, but also the easiest to do mould-wise: The 41st on Kaller. While the Order 66 scene there is shown in TBB, not RotS, we do see non-camouflage 41st Troopers at the Jedi Temple in RotS, and since the events happen concurrently with RotS (obviously), it fits - from a certain point of view. As for moulds, Captain Grey has no helmet attachments, so he would be easier to make than either Cody or Bly, and while Depa Billaba would need a new mould for her hair, that can be avoided by just giving her the hood that she wears for part of the battle. Prints would be fairly easy as well, since despite Grey needing a new printed helmet, torso, legs, and pauldron, the rest of the Clones that we see on Kaller are P2 Shinies, who would only need a new helmet print (since they can reuse the torso and legs from the Clone accessory pack). For Depa, I can see LEGO just reusing Mace Windu’s legs, so she would only need new torso and head prints. 🤔 -

If this is a RotS-based AT-TE, are we certain that it will be based on the Utapau scenes? That would make the most sense, given the popularity of the 212th/Cody/Obi-Wan. That said, after the 187th’s appearance in the Republic Fighter Tank, I am not sure that we can rule anything out at this point. The other appearance of an AT-TE in RotS is on Felucia with Aayla Secura and the 327th; as we have not gotten a Star Corps Trooper since 7655 in 2007, they are very much overdue for a remake! Bly poses the same issue as Cody with regard to moulds, however, since he has macrobinoculars on his helmet (which would need 1-2 new moulds, just like Cody and his visor), but if LEGO intends to give us prominent P2 Clones in future sets (e.g. Rex, Cody, Wolfe, Fox, Bly, etc), they are going to need to make a new P2 helmet with attachment-points and a new ARC gear pack (visor, rangefinder, macrobinoculars). -
I actually do want you to answer (which I recognise sounds somewhat confrontational in writing, but I do not mean it to be), and I would rather not wait until the quest is over to be made aware of a problem that I can work on now. We can discuss whatever is at issue either here or via PM - I have no preference - but I would like to resolve this before we proceed further with the quest. Additionally, I would appreciate @Dutch Thriceman and @Kintobor (again, either publicly or privately) weighing in, so that I can figure out if this is specifically a problem that you are having, or if it is something broader.

Do you mean that you are generally annoyed about the game itself, or just that you are usually feeling irritable? I want to avoid overstepping, so I can restrain Yelana's tendency to jump into a position of leadership somewhat, if it is going to be a problem for you personally. Understandable, and that works with me! 👍

I am not sure that we can tell much about the AT-TE from other sets that have been released. An AotC version would go with the Clone command centre accessory pack, the UCS Gunship, Obi-Wan’s starfighter, and the 20th anniversary of the film. That said, while AotC is the most famous film appearance of the AT-TE, the vehicle also appears quite prominently in TCW (where a (rumoured) Dwarf Spider Droid would also fit), and since the Republic Fighter Tank shows that LEGO is willing to make TCW-style arm prints and new clone units, a TCW-based set is also a definite possibility. As for a TBB-inspired AT-TE, while the least likely option of the three (due both to the rumoured presence of the Dwarf Spider Droid and to the fact that the Imperial AT-TE has thus far only had one appearance), it is not entirely out of the question. Cad Bane’s ship is widely believed to be the Justifier (likely due to the price), so LEGO is making at least one TBB set this wave. An ideal Minifig lineup for the set would include Nala Se, who needs a new Kaminoan headpiece, so LEGO could be spreading the cost of the new mould across multiple sets by including Taun We in Obi-Wan’s JSF (who also appears in the same TBB arc as the Justifier). In short, I think that speculation upon what the AT-TE is going to be based on is largely pointless, as there are multiple realistic possibilities, so we should probably wait until we get more information or images leak. -
My intention when writing this was that when Yelana told Polaris to stand watch, the party was roughly in the middle of the scrap yard, over by the shed (which envision as being a short distance from the workshop itself). After that, she walked out of Polaris’ and Avgustus’ earshot, then addressed ‘Fix-It’ quietly. If you need me to, I can modify my post to make this a bit clearer, or I can go ahead with Polaris having heard a bit of what Yelana said (whichever works best for you). BTW, please let me know if I overstepped - I am not quite sure whether it is you or Polaris that is the one who is irritated, based on the tone of your post! 😕

LEGO Ninjago 2022
Classic_Spaceman replied to Gangikhan448's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I agree. The second option (the potted plant) has to be true, so that means that either option 1 or option 3 is the lie. Considering that LEGO has (often not even to prevent spoilers) either included relatively irrelevant characters or not included important ones, it seems unlikely that they would start doing the same thing now, only purposefully. Additionally, what "spoilers" would need to be protected? The show will air around the time that the sets are released, so the only people who could possibly be "spoiled" are those who manage to see leaks. Furthermore, since the exact wording says that LEGO added irrelevant material, not that they are holding off on some more spoiler-y content until a subsequent wave (like Harumi in her Quiet One outfit), I find it even less likely to be true. -

These look great! The white hands and purple shoulders should be the base design from which we add different headgear, hair, etc (I am certainly going to do it!). Also, larger pictures. I think that they would look good with Flat Silver weapons and shields (though you would lose the crescent insignia), so you could use those for more "realistic"-looking dark elves. -
"Same.", Yelana replied; "We can probably work something out, though.". "Yeah, I know they're modified - I'm just trying to figure out who modified them.". "Thank you.", Yelana said gratefully; "And don't worry - I won't tell anyone. Bers - Let's check it out. Polaris, you and Avgustus stay out here - I don't want anyone sneaking up on us. And Avgustus, once we're done here, we can all head to the contest together.". She began walking towards the workshop, then pulled 'Fix-It' to the side. "Hey, so I can tell you're getting a little worried about why we're asking about your memories."; she paused, letting out a deep sigh. "I didn't want to be this blunt about it, but our intel reports indicate that there . . . already was an attempt on your life, about six months ago. . . You survived, but your memories of the incident don't seem to have - And that's all we know.". A bit of nervousness began to show in Yelana's voice; "We really don't have much of an idea of what we're up against, and I wonder if maybe. . . those lost memories could shed some light on what's going on - Who's after you, what happened to Teclion. Our entire mission. . . and a matter of life and death; our intel's run out, so those memories may be our only lead. And our only chance to keep you safe. I'm not trying to pry, I'm really not, I'm just. . . kinda out of options right now.". Yelana took a breath, gauging Fix-It's reaction to what she had said. "So, if you remember anything - and I do mean anything - let me know; weird, frightening. . . violent, even. Anything would help.". OoC:

To me, it seems like white that has been printed onto light bley, so the colour is just a bit off. When comparing the trim to the head, the head looks more blue. -

Very nice (and better than either of the originals)! Would you be willing to add white hands and a white Ninjago mask? I am curious to see what that would look like. Larger image:
