  1. Yesterday, Tommy Andreasen posted a "Two truths, One lie" on Twitter for the coming season. If the first option is true, then I think that the lyrics "They say / Go slow / And everything just stands so still" are the ones in-question, and we may see some kind of power/type of Spinjitzu that can slow or stop time (which we already saw with the Time Blades in THoT, so it is clearly not impossible in-universe).
  2. Nice! Can you take a picture of one with the helmet from the bottom left and the shoulder armour from the bottom right? It is, but as it was only in one set, it is somewhat rare. 😕 In light of the trim on the torso and legs being white, has anyone tried using white masks, hoods (that sounds bad! 😬), capes (particularly the single-hole version from the CMF White Vision, as it can accommodate long hair), or hands, to balance out the purple a bit? 🤔
  3. The LEGO Marvel Super Heroes game has a design for Elektra's costume that is basically what I envisioned (though I only just saw the game design!):
  4. That looks like a Pop-Tart! 😬
  5. Elektra's costumes are really not any more revealing than Wonder Woman's classic ones are, and LEGO has no problem making her. Additionally, due to the space limitations of Minifigs' legs, the amount of "skin" shown between her red boots, thigh-stripes, and loincloth would probably end up being less than is on most Wonder Woman Minifigs. As for her hair, I actually think that the CMF Fortune Teller piece would be fine, since Elektra's hair is typically depicted as long and flowing, however straight (in modern versions, at least).
  6. Yelana thought for a moment. "Well, I don't think they started out ghoulish - They'd been reprogrammed and reconfigured for combat. And someone had to have built them, so would you happen to know who that might've been?". "Uh, by the way, I really think we should take a look at what you're working on - I don't mean to spoil any surprises, but if there's anything electronic or mechanical that could be compromised like those bears were, we need to know about it.", she said tentatively. Yelana paused, then smirked subtly to herself; "You know, I am pretty good at keeping secrets - I won't tell anyone.". She turned; "Bers - Back me up, here. You can keep a secret, right?". OoC: "Right - Yeah, I was thinking about that: 'Fix-It', when we were fighting the bears, did you happen to feel anything. . . or see anything? I've heard of people recovering lost memories during times of extreme stress, so I'm wondering if that could've happened to you.". OoC: Yelana sighed deeply and dropped her forehead into her fingers. "No, no - That would be the worst thing to do.". She sighed again and looked over to Avgustus; "So, then what's our plan? I doubt an assassin would announce themselves at the contest, so that's kind of a dead-end without a way to draw them out. Besides, you're right, and anyone with any sense would agree, so the chances of someone trying to pull an outright attack at the contest are next to none. And if someone shows up here, we could definitely use your help.".
  7. "I guess if you think stealing's on-level with using nucleoid bombs, then I suppose you're right.", Yelana huffed. "What?", Yelana said, confused. "I was an analyst.".
  8. "I'd love to - Feel free to stop by the Hall anytime you're free!".
  9. I actually thought that it was the greatest of all time.
  10. I actually thought that you were referring to 1x1 tiles printed to look like toast! (Which, now that I think of it, I it find odd that LEGO has not made any toast-tiles yet, since it would be a simple print on a very common part).
  11. There are two Minifigs in the DeLorean announcement video that have what appears to be an updated version of the classic red Forestmen torso.
  12. @The Legonater: When reading the quest, in addition to the obvious basis in Alien, I picked up on some Resident Evil references (e.g. the disaster being documented through a series of notes that the players can find, finding/building more specialised weapons (Kirwin's flamethrower), needing to go to another room to open a door in the current room (Viper's cell), etc). Additionally, considering the Hydra's ability to bond with Humans, I fully expected the final boss to be a Hydra-mutated member of the crew - Was this something that you considered?
  13. "Oh, I agree - Absolutely. And there's no shortage of potential scapegoats, or people willing to pose as a symbol of the populace for their own gain." Yelana lowered her voice; "If you ask me, the current situation is untenable - The ITA's just a patch on bigger systemic issues, and between the Empire's civil war and the League's refusal to outright condemn New Force's actions on planets like Typhon, I think we'll see another war within our lifetimes. I don't want to be right, but I have a nasty little habit of being right even when I don't want to.". She sighed and shook her head. "Interesting - You said you were working on a surprise for the children in town, so I just guessed these things were prototypes or toys you couldn't fix.". OoC: Yelana turned to Polaris: "Harrigan's not a war criminal - That's a technical term, which you should know. While records indicate that Harrigan served during the War, his crimes started afterwards, after he turned to piracy.". "Memory problems. . . Hmmmmm. . . ", Yelana thought to herself. Yelana listened as the group discussed plans, formulating her own as she did. "Alright.", she said in a loud voice, as she took a chopstick out of her hair and spun it around her fingers. "So, unless unless you've only got a short window of opportunity to hit your target, assassinations usually take place in one of two ways. One: You get your target alone, use some kind of cover - darkness, cloaks, whatever - attack, then get out as fast as possible. And two: Kill them in broad daylight - I know, it sounds counterintuitive, but crowds can be some of the most private places around; all you'd need is a knife, a bit of poison under a false nail, something like that, and a chance to brush past your target. By the time anyone notices something's wrong, you'll have disappeared, and even security cams have a hard time ID'ing you.". Yelana tapped the chopstick against the tip of her nose, then pointed it casually around the party. "We've got both of those scenarios here, so they'll either take advantage of the fact that the entire town's at the marksmanship contest to get here unnoticed, then use the noise clutter to hide their attack, or they'll try something at the contest, hoping to use the crowds as an escape. Their use of reprogrammed toys does suggest our guy's not willing to get their hands too dirty, so the safest place would probably be at the contest - I'll go, along with Avgustus. Bers, Polaris, and Meerabeau: You stay here and keep an eye out. Oh, and make sure to incapacitate any attackers - don't kill them - we need them alive to find out who's behind all this. Got it?". Yelana slipped the chopstick back into her hair, adjusting it slightly, then crossed her arms and waited for a response.
  14. The newly-revealed Lightyear ship has a new canopy - In Trans-Yellow! - that bears a striking resemblance to this classic canopy piece! Considering the fact that LEGO could probably have made due with an existing part, I am curious to see what plans they have for this new piece.
  15. Are we absolutely sure that this is real, and that it is releasing in April? April 1st is four days away, and we still have not gotten even a single leak or piece of concrete information. 😕
  16. Bionicle would be difficult for LEGO to make without CCBS parts (though they could use the new System-CCBS hybrid pieces), and it is probably considered to be too much of a niche theme. If LEGO does any kind of follow-up to the Castle, I suspect that it would either be Pirates (perhaps Imperials, to oppose the PoBB?) or Space, as both of those themes have broader markets and would be easier to make with existing parts.
  17. Back on-topic: I am really not fond of the new Stormtrooper redesign. The legs are OK - Marginally more accurate between the white hips and the movement of the ridged band on the right leg from the shin armour (old design) to the thigh armour (new design). Additionally, (though I have seen some complain about this) I like that the hips are unprinted, since that makes the new legs compatible with the old torsos. The new torso, conversely, just looks bad. The belt is too large, and the chestplate's curve is too high and too close to the armour's "pecs"; it almost looks like LEGO based the torso off of the female variant Legacy armour:
  18. "Alright, that's enough!", Yelana said sternly. She stepped forward, putting her arms out towards Bers and Meerabeau. "I said that's enough - Both of you!", Yelana snapped loudly. She took a deep breath and sighed. "Okay, let's start from the beginning: 'Fix-It', I'm Yelana Fennix; I've been assigned to protect you. Intel suggests your life may be in danger, due to. . . a case of mistaken identity - That's what I wanted to talk with you about in private; I didn't want to start a panic. I've also been tasked with investigating the disappearance of an intelligence agent from Ark Victoire", Yelana looked over to Avgustus, "named 'Teclion'. He went missing here in Knothole not long before I arrived; I'm not sure he's even still alive.". She paused. "So, about the bear situation - I analysed the memory cores, and it seems they were originally programmed as toys and entertainment animatronics". Yelana took a memory core out of her backpack and tossed it over to 'Fix-It'; "those primary functions were overridden by new combat subroutines, which is why they attacked us. As to how", Yelana took out the receiver and held it up for 'Fix-It' to see, before slipping it back into her backpack; "I found this - a ripple-pulse receiver. The bears were activated remotely. Now, I've gone over the last few moments before they attacked, and I know neither of you activated them, but someone did. And, given the circumstances, I believe this and Teclion's disappearance are connected - Which also means that any would-be assassins are already here in town. We need to find out what's going on, and we need to do it fast.". Yelana brushed a strand of hair out of her face as she looked around at the group. "I didn't think I can overstate this: Our investigation needs to be kept quiet. The Mayor was already raising hell over our fight with those creepy bears, so the town watch is on-alert. We don't need to give them anything else to deal with - especially during Harvest Week - and we do not want to draw the attention of the SP's; that'll turn this situation into even more of a shitstorm than it already is.". Yelana stepped back and crossed her arms as she looked around again, focusing specifically on Polaris, Bers, and Meerabeau: "So, are we going to stand around here arguing all day, or are we going to get to work?".
  19. Yelana chuckled; "Bers. . . It's unlocked.". "Oh. Well, I'm sorry for assuming, I just thought since you're here. . . "; she trailed off. "And I hope you're right - From what I've seen, though, the ITA's just protecting the same people the League and the Empire did before the War. I don't know how much it can really change things, you know?". Yelana gave Polaris a look as if to say 'Seriously?'. Raising her eyebrow and stifling a laugh, Yelana turned to Polaris; "Those things kicked your A$$!". Yelana flinched hard; "Uh, Bers. . . ". "Oh, here we - ". "Please. Just. Stop.", Yelana thought, futilely.
  20. Yelana raised an eyebrow. "For the League, I assume? Did you happen to know a man named 'Teclion', by any chance?". OoC: "I really hope you know what you're doing!", Yelana thought as Avgustus handed over the Memory Core. "Agreed.". Yelana knocked on the shed's door again.
  21. @Hoth Rebel confirmed the theme (see my post directly above yours).
  22. "Oh, those asshoIes? Not likely - They were probably just drunk and in a bad mood.". Yelana turned to Avgustus, still appearing rather confused; "Did you see that? I mean, I saw M.I.L.E.S. looking at the Endo-Skeleton. . . maybe I missed something?". OoC: "Would if I could.", she snapped back as she walked over to the shed.
  23. @Hoth Rebel, I believe:
