I always thought Lego missed out by not doing merch for the first movie, the gunships, big creatures, mech’s etc would all make fun sets. They could do a CMF series to cover the costs of the alien parts (new wigs, long arms and legs again like Toystory) etc. The Matel toyline was weak imo (beautifuly painted sculptures but the flying dragons only had 1 point of articulation if I recall) I hope the sets cover some of the important scenes and characters from the first movie too,

Happy New Year all! Who else is still collecting chocolate frog cards? I have yet to open a chess or Fluffy set or get the new Polybag but otherwise have opened up one of each of 2021 line, and so far I have 4 characters missing (I have also been lucky enough not to have more than one extra of the duplicates) I was hoping they would carry them on into 2022 and even make some more character cards, I can think of 4 Characters seen on film which could be added to the range: Igor Karkaroff, Bathilda Bagshot, Gellert Grindelwald, Mykew Gregorovitch. And then of course there is Merlin who was a collectable card in the old PS1 game for PS. It’s been fun collecting the 16 but I'm a bit sad to see it end after only 1 wave of sets -

I literally made a Hogsmeade AC MOC this month quite like this on my IG page 😅 @mylegoharrypotter most of the builds are for the Hogsmeade street -

Nice activity 👍 Mine: Figure: Igor Karkaroff New mould: 8x4x12ish bells tower roof half section (similar to the old 10487 roof but more streamlined and screen accurate) New location: Department of Mysteries -
Wizarding World 2022 - Rumors & Discussion

Here are my guesses, based on popular demand I have observed on this forum and my interpretation of the patterns there have been over the last few years, as well as assuming no DH or FB sets: 76400-76403 will be the mass retail line, so I expect a small and a big castle expansion set and a couple of popular independent builds with some new/wanted figures: 76400 for $19.99 a small castle module like the bathroom: Boggart lesson I hope with a dementor (useful) or scary clown in the box (unique) 76401 for $49.99 I’m guessing another medium ‘house set’: a solitary Shrieking Shack to compliment the popular Hogsmeade village set. I still believe the werewolf is best served in a CMF series however. 76402 for $79.99 Durmstrang Ship please! Boat parts are in production already for the Mario theme and we have had a new fishy tail from Vidiyo so I think it’s reasonable to think one of these expensive sets is it 76403 for $99.99 big castle expansion, OotP or PoA themed. 76404 for $44.99 Advent Calendar. Hogsmeade, Slug Club, PS Final challenges? 76405 for $469.99 - D2C set, Gringotts & some other shop like B&B etc seems the obvious answer… 76406-76408 is the weird, off-the-wall novelty and lower production store-exclusive stuff etc: 76406 for $49.99 a brick built animal sculpture, Niffler? Mechanical flying Horntail or Buckbeak? Interesting it’s more expensive than the Hedwig template. 76407 for $89.99 no idea, I’m at a loss with this one… Grimmauld Place Modular with a Christmas party theme. 76408 for $119.99 Buildable giant figure characters sequel set. Side note: the size of the line and expense invested into the theme next year may support the likelihood of a third CMF series; the demand is obviously still very strong -

Agreed 100%; the sets numbered after the D2C and AC are likely the lower production volume store exclusives & ‘weird’ experimental sets like animal models and life size props, novelty items etc. -

Good choices! I have also been thinking the books would be the best place to get more variants of Lockhart (straitjacket, green Quidditch outfit), or Umbridge (Wizengamot) etc -

Yes I think you are right actually Disappointingly now it looks like the time turner is actually nothing more than a gold stud with the chrome gold One Ring connected on top :/ -

I actually really like the hospital set, it’s more detailed and attractIve than I expected based on the rumours. Even if she uses an existing skirt and face print Pomfrey looks excellent and that new mould for her hair/hat looks perfect! No sign of the white Skele-grow bottle but I am pleased to see so many other details they didn’t need to do: new prints on all three of the trio, a bandaged leg, Hermione has a bandage on her hand, new printed tile for the time-turner. I also approve of the white window lattice recolour, it gives the building a different feel to the rest of the castle. As a fan of the first Clock Tower I have no problem with how this looks, I’m happy it’s not a replacement and I’ll use the parts same as the CoS set to grow the 2018 castle I have going I hope this set sells well as if it does it could lead to more similar focused castle sections such as a Year 1 ‘Library’ set with Madam Pince Edit: Looking at clearer pictures on IG it looks to me like the green object on the white table is a recolour of the hourglass -
Some more of my AC MOC: Hogs Head pub signpost in the same way we got the Leaky cauldron, it’s a neat loophole to get such a wanted print considering LEGO’s rules on bars and alcohol: And today’s build was a micro Clock Tower to fit behind the micro Hogwarts we got last year:

On my IG page this year I have created an advent calendar based on Hogsmeade (and The PoA movie in general) The first MOC build was a mini Knight bus!: And the day after was a Hogwarts Castle snow sculpture: I’ll be posting one new build/figure for each day :)

What sets are the big donut prints from? -
6346792 flesh Head is available from B&P and would make a great Mundungus Fletcher if you have not made one yet, pair it with the Torso from Hogsmeade and some medium legs and you got a really good likeness! Here are some of my personal custom figures made mostly from parts from B&P:

I just did a B&P and by chance it was on the nose of £50 so I got 800 points! I’m not sure if it’s be mentioned here before but Dr Strange’s rubber cape from the FFH set is available for purchase, and not expensive too! I also got another sheep, it’s great that it’s keeping stock more consistently now, they must have upped production. -
Yea me to, I’m happy with the scale of all the animals we have, however if I had a choice I would want the chameleon to be a bit bigger as it’s very small compared to the bats and spiders, and the new stingray is gigantic and could be a bit smaller 😅

Not sure if I had mentioned it here before but a couple of months ago on my IG for a little fun I made a poll for which animal mould they should do next, and it came out as follows: 1st Kangaroo 🦘 2nd: Tucan 🦜 3rd Tortoise 🐢 4th (0 votes): Rooster 🐓 The Tucan was my personal favourite so I’m so happy that it’s coming soon, it looks beautiful 😊 I do wish however that, same as the foal and the diver with turtle from previous that they would pair up some of these animals with more interesting figures, such as native/traditional/period peoples from the area where the animals come from, rather than these ‘city’ figures. So for example the kangaroo could be an accessory to a aboriginal with a didgeridoo (31509 with decorative printing), and the tortoise could be an accessory to a ‘Charles Darwin’ historical based figure

I got the GWP and polybag at the store yesterday :D I got Hogsmeade, the Advent Calendar and and extra of the Wizard pack to qualify, I don’t mind spending full price for those as they are all the kind of sets I want Lego to keep making more of I hope the Hermione Polybag becomes available for individual purchase later in the winter, perhaps after Christmas once I know what cards I need 😅 -

From the language used I’m doubtful the special thing coming is a set, But I hope I’m wrong. Anyways I was daydreaming and I got an idea of exclusive set, like a GWP: Brick built Sorting Hat, on a stand similar to the Venom head/ starwars helmets etc Comes with golden Draco and a golden recolour of the 2018 Sorting Hat itself
