  1. Thanks for extracting the info from the podcast 👍 From the AC cover the theme seems to be memories and iconic moments form Harry’s life through the 7 movies, so the figures will be a mix too and I’m mostly happy with the list described :) Voldemort: We have not had a straight cut Voldemort figure since the graveyard set (and this new face print or an an angry one was one of my pics for the villain slot for a CMF series 3 or a flying motorcycle set), so this is welcome. I expect the body to be a repeat from the previous set. Sirius Black: an OotP variant was one of my first choices of figure for an AC, whether this is a repeat of the GP set or a new print for another scene I’m very pleased either way. Along with the new Tonks this will help us all build our own MOC of the battle in the department of mysteries, without necessarily even buying the GP set. Neville Longbottom: this variant from the battle of Hogwarts is another one lots of people have been asking for. He might have a new printed ‘dirty’ face along with the cardigan, depends on how many prints are on the other figures Moaning Myrtle; agreed this is an odd one, she is not that big of a character compared to the others and only has one look. I personally don’t need more of her as I got a couple from the CMF. If it is her she has to have new prints to be different from the CMF, which is again annoying for consistency purposes. Personally I have fingers crossed there is some mistake and it’s actually the Grey Lady (Helena Ravenclaw), they could get away with just a new torso and face print, and a princess wig recolour into grey. Year 1 Harry: a token repeat. Shame LEGO is still not brave enough to make more sets without the title character included otherwise this could have been Ginny for example. Overall I'm optimistic, it’s a mixed bag but several boxes are getting ticked off our ‘wanted’ lists :)
  2. So new prints confirmed: -New Tonks head (double sided) -New Tonks torso -Harry’s name on burnt parchment (1x2 tile) -New Voldemort head (likely) Sadly nothing shown on the top side off of the box this time
  3. Since it’s a mixed bag of things spanning all the movies, I would say there is a good chance that the Voldemort head we saw is also from the AC. The front cover is unusual, it’s taken the reverse direction from the previous and is holding its contents close to the chest this time The ‘photo album’ is a neat way of making the random builds work: each one is a different memory etc from Harry’s life in the Wizarding world PS: train, the hoops, Harry CS: whomping willow & car PoA: Hedwig carrying the firebolt GoF: the goblet again :/ OotP: Tonks! :D Fingers crossed for some more desired things we have been missing so far: flying keys, Draco in a new outfit, a missing character like Rufus Scrimgeour or Mr X Lovegood
  4. Part 79194, the small hand clip with hollow stud is available in gold on bricks & pieces, I have only seen it in clear or black before, it will be ideal to build the ring Horcrux along with a black 1x1 pyramid for the stone
  5. I have seen polybags for sale in Waterstones (U.K.)
  6. Today I received an email receipt invoice for an order which had already arrived back in mid April :/ and I’m actually waiting for a more recent B&P order… I hope they haven’t processed the same order twice…
  7. Ok I got my full Wishlist for the other three sets all sorted: I’m going for more moderate builds & more individual things to play with in each set. So for example the Helicopters would not be much more part heavy than the Deadpool Helicopter from Marvel Avatar 75571 AVATAR 1 - $40 , 560 PIECES The Pandora Forest. Direhorse, lots of scenery detail, a nice tree, viperwolf x2 Tsu’Tay, Jake’s avatar (first night), Naytiri (first encounter), Grace Augustine’s avatar 75573 AVATAR 3 - $90 , 887 PIECES Great Leonopteryx sky battle. Great Leonopteryx, Scorpion gunship Helicopter & Trudy’s Samson helicopter Jake’s Avatar (final battle), Trudy Chacon, Scorpion gunship pilot 75574 AVATAR 4 - $140 , 1,212 PIECES Battle of Pandora. Link station mobile unit, Hammerhead Titanothere. AMP x2, Thanator Colonel Quaritch, Lyle Wainfleet, Naytiri, Jake’s avatar (final battle), Norm Spellman’s Avatar. Norm Spellman, Jake Sully, Mercenary soldier.
  8. The hare (big rabbit) mould from the Harry Potter theme is appearing now as a real live brown hare in one of the lately leaked sets, brilliant news for anyone wanting to make Radagast’s bunny sled from the Hobbit movie trilogy It has a stud on its back just like huskies so it can be attached to a sled the same way
  9. That brown hare is a wish come true for us Lord of the Rings/Hobbit movie fans, now we can have Radagast’s bunny sled after all!
  10. I think the set might be two rocks: one base and another floating; connected together with trans technic beams hidden by vines The banshee’s might both attach to something like a hanging mobile which rotates so it looks like they are flying.
  11. So brickfanatics on IG has a line up of the set prices; 75571 AVATAR 1 - $39.99 , 560 PIECES 75572 JAKE AND NEYTIRI'S FIRST FLIGHT ON A BANSHEE - $54.99 , 572 PIECES 75573 AVATAR 3 - $89.99 , 887 PIECES 75574 AVATAR 4 - $139.99 , 1,212 PIECES If true it’s quite an expensive theme with no cheap sets. Price per part is very good, suggesting brick built animals rather than dinosaur parts, but then they might be including lots of detailed plants with many small parts to compensate. Anyone want to make set predictions? I can think of a few if they are all based on the first movie 🤞
  12. Glad to see they are doing sets from the first movie, that way we don’t get too many sets based on concept art which may not be accurate to the final film This theme has great potential for some amazing new parts, prints and recolours for all the alien flora and fauna, I hope a hammerhead titanothere and thanator get made to battle the mech’s and gunships
  13. I’m late joining the discussion (I was on holiday when the images dropped and my data/wifi at the time was too poor to view high definition pics), I don’t have much to add to what everyone else has said. I love the surprise of Madame Pince & the baby Phoenix, and I’m overjoyed with every figure and detail included in the MoM and GP sets! Getting all these new prints, moulds and colours for Kreacher, Tonks, Thicknesse, Yaxley (more villains yay!), the patronus cat, the printed locket, the troll foot umbrella stand, the extendable ear, crookshanks and more make the MoM and GP both worth the high price and I’ll try buy them both early. The carriage set is great for what it is, I would have liked a third figure rather than the tree (Neville perhaps), and the baby thestral is perfectly made. The SS set is brilliant too, I called it that it would include a figure transformation revolving wall, and the other play features are all great. The glow in the dark moon surprised me, it’s like something out of the Mario play sets but I’ll take it. I’m relay pleased with the SS build itself: so much studs on the side construction which they didn’t need to do but did anyway to make it more interesting. A little disappointed that the werewolf and grim don’t use any new moulds, and they didn’t give the werewolf claws (they aren’t available on B&P from the stranger things set anymore either which is very annoying), but they did use the satyr legs as I hoped so I’m quite happy with what we have Dumbledore’s office looks stunning from the outside, but very empty inside, I expected many more stickers for Dumbledore’s gadgets and cabinets etc. I’m pleased it doesn’t dethrone my own MOC, which I can keep developing. Pairing it with the library in principle was a great choice in my opinion to fund the new hat mould. The build should have had the staircase from the dark tower set, maybe that’s the idea to encourage you to get both. i’m not a fan of the new broomstick tail, It should be more pointy to look like the movie models, or better yet they should have made an entirely new whole broomstick mouldfor specific FireBolts & Nimbus 2000’s. I hope this is just an experiment and it doesn’t mean the classic broom is retired. Hopefully we get the Durmstrang ship next year, and lake task figures, not to mention more DH sets, there still so much life left in this theme! I’m looking forward to slowly collecting all of these :)
  14. Regarding the Hogwarts express D2C, the thought has to me that it could be a UCS style bigger-than-Minifigure scale model like the 10258 London Bus but even grander. I can imagine it using the same build technique for the main cylindrical boiler tube as the Saturn V rocket. The station build may be just a display stand and backdrop for it. It might even use dark red rather than normal red which could look amazing. Like others however I would part with my money for that price tag only if it was a big Minifigure scale Playset with motor functions, a complete circuit of track, two stations at least and a bunch of Minifigures from the various train scenes across movies 4, 5 and 6. For context I have never actually purchased a D2C before…
  15. Stunning as always! I would pay to see this on public display somewhere when it’s finished.
  16. I hope the MoM set sells well (it should do with that outstanding Minifigure selection), LEGO might use the sales figures to justify making more DH sets or not.
  17. Violin available, part number 69947
  18. Doc Brown hair in orange and grey is available, first time I have seen that wig on B&P
  19. I almost had the first flying lesson in my list as I am very happy with its contents and would love more sets like it and the hospital wing, but had to bump it out of my top 10 for the D2C’s to be fair to their detail and majesty even though I do not own either. This was a fun and interesting exercise thanks for doing it!
  20. I went to the Lego store in london Westfield (Shepard’s bush) this weekend and was pleasantly surprised to see the BAM back to normal. They have lots of parts leftover form the pre-built figures: violins, green potion bottle, round 2x2 with fruit flan print, white ninjago game controller handle. They hade lots of ice-skater torso’s and ice skates to go with, and several kinds of duel moulded legs. Very poor selection of wigs/hats though with 90% black hair and the tub was very empty. I got myself 2 side-printed red legs with trainers and a couple of Olympic medals 👍
  21. I like this idea too, it makes the pack ‘playable’ even on its own. The build could be a duelling table & the new tile print could be the moon pattern cloth: perhaps 2 identical 2x4 prints as it’s a symmetrical pattern. I hope this pack comes with an owl again too, that would be marvellous, I also loved the printed jars, I wonder what they could reuse this time? Flying sand blue owl? Pixie? Beans box? Some new print we have not seen yet from this summer?
  22. On B&P there is a printed 1x2 grey cheese slope with the print of the front window for the AT-AT micro-fighter I believe but for some reason it’s sorted under Minifigure hats and headgear, rather than slopes.
  23. That’s what I used for my custom figure!; That stock you have is worth a lot of money! Why not ship your collection in the mail ahead of yourself ? If you send it by boat in a well packed and protected storage box with some insurance you would spend much less than buying it all again in the aftermarket…
  24. Lockhart is a great choice! He has so many outfits in the film and it would be a great way to get a new one such as the duelling club or the green one from when he accidentally’s Harry’s arm on the Quidditch pitch, that would only require a new torso print as they have green capes in their inventory already from Loki etc I would be happy with an extra Snape as a reused figure since he isn’t in too many sets, and a regular Slughorn for those who could not get the octoberpack. It would be a wasted opportunity If of the new characters wasn’t one of the female professors in the background we have never had a figure of before (runes teacher, Muggle studies professor, Grubbly-Plank as you say etc) Proffeost Vector and Madame Pince I think need new hat/hair moulds 🤞
  25. This is exciting! I had thought we were not getting a pack at all this year… I hope this is a Harry-free pack, my guesses: - Professor Slughorn (same version as the October pack) - Professor Dumbledore (HBP, black hand) - Professor Binns (new prints) - Professor Grubbly-Plank (recycled parts such as Jane Goodall face, Oz Scarecrow hat, green dress slope from last year etc) New 2x3 tile a print of the cursed necklace on a cushion or paper wrappings Build is a purple armchair
