  1. Thanks, @danth! I completely agree, it can be very difficult at times to make certain builds modular with their dimensions, luckily this one was easy. Sometimes I just sit in stud.io for hours with a brain fart, not being able to think of anything.
  2. Thanks @danth, great to hear from you! The ship was actually originally built for just the twins, but I realized the color scheme matched up exactly with the old space police, so I just had to include them. As for the wings, unfortunately, with the separating feature, I had no extra room for them on the ship, so I just have two spare wings on hand to attach to the studs that normally connect the ship. I suppose for a canon approach you can just believe they expand outward once it disconnects.
  3. Thanks @Ragana9289! Thank you @Professor Thaum, I'm glad you liked it!
  4. Ha, great build! Nice tower, and a very enjoyable read. Great job Thaum!
  5. Thanks, @JintaiZ. Glad you liked it @deraven! It's always enjoyable to make SP stuff.
  6. After years of being on the run, the skull twins are finally apprehended by the SPJ-2. With their ship downed, the twins fought with all their might to secure their freedom. Blaster lasers pierce the sky and smoke fills the air. The smoke clears, the victor is decided. Out comes... 7. Definitely agree with you @Ragana9289! It's a very enjoyable color scheme to work with.
  8. That looks really good! Every single area has very creative parts usage. Love the contrasting colors as well as the balcony with the upturned roof over it. Beautiful work!
  9. Wow, pantelis! Just when I thought your builds couldn't get any better, you show us this beauty! Your detailing is impeccable, and you definitely did a great job hitting that nostalgic black falcon castle look. Good choice with the sand green tiles, they look very nice as well. Great build! Also, love the fleshie falcons.
  10. You're a genius, @Mesabi! He'll never be the same... I quite like fleshie Thaum. I think he needs to make that his new profile picture.
  11. You better watch out @Count Vroskri, looks like you're being challenged for a duel! Keep that obsession, I remove tens of arms and hands a day and I can not tell you how many torsos and arms I've cracked. It still haunts me and my wallet to this day.
  12. Wow, this is fantastic! I especially admire the docks and the creative construction of the supplies. Definitely would be gorgeous in actual brick. We really do need to get those masonry bricks in more colors! Fantastic build, as always, your landscaping and minifigures are such a pleasant sight!
  13. I enjoy the looks of both colors, but in my opinion, the less detailed the face, the better. My favorite head of all time will be the fleshie stereotypical smiles. A crew for a ship, or an army would look great in those contrasting colors (brown, nougat, etc.) while keeping the classic look of the old smile. I try to only use head pieces from 2008 and before, because when you start having too many cheek lines, wide smiles, etc. it definitely limits the versatility. Plus, the old heads are just wacky and fun!
  14. This is great! I don't think we have seen any wooden clads yet, so what a brilliant idea. Kind of reminds me of the old style hulk ships. Terraverrsians are going to flee at the sight of this behemoth!
  15. It's wonderful to hear from you again, @Professor Thaum! It was great to see lego make some new Dark turquoise slopes a bit ago so I could make this possible. Maybe one of these days I'll make a spaceship with the old windows for you! Thanks for the kind words!
  16. @kurigan I'm so glad you enjoyed it, Dave! "OK, that's pretty cool" means the world to me coming from an expert ship builder! I couldn't agree more with the accessories aspect. That was much needed for this build with its modularity. I'm glad you chose the words "clean and neat". Perhaps that hour of dusting was in-fact worth it? Once again, it means a lot to read your kind words! Also, I appreciate your feedback from when I first posted the WIP for this ship to shipwrights back in October.
  17. Thanks you very much @Corweena! I'm glad you liked the fun features I've included for the base! Don't you mean *ahem* temporarily take command of out of the kindness of your heart since the captain has come down with sudden "dreaded illness"? Those silly corries, always getting sick, right?
  18. Cadillac, still up and kicking in 3077, is producing it's latest model, a way too expensive one-person intergalactic travel ship. Based off the 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz and with a limited run of only five units being built, you'd certainly be looking to put a hit on yourself if you acquire one. 3077 by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr IMG_6644 by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr IMG_6640 by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr IMG_6638 by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr Happy Travels! by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr Hope you enjoyed it! I just had to make a ship in dark turquoise. Take care and as always, happy travels, Earthling!
  19. Hi @LucasS14135, I'm glad to hear you liked it! I created this using a program called stud.io and used bricklink to source the pieces for the minifigures and pieces. I hope this helps!
  20. I wish I could make a counter-argument against that, but my name and literally my profile background would prove otherwise
  21. Thank you very much @blackdeathgr! I'm so glad to hear you liked it. Ha! Actually, I think green and gold would have been even better, silly me.
  22. Oh, interesting. Thanks @Professor Thaum! I wish reddish brown wasn't so fragile. They're like paper! Thanks for the advise, means a lot.
  23. Great build, Bodi! Really captures the sheer power and force the Oleanders have when the time arrives. Love the beach! Poor little Terraversa is getting bullied.
