  1. I may check some of those deals out.
  2. So......there is a very good chance that we WON'T see the crooks hideout.
  3. Yeah! Not too fond of the oversaturation of stunt sets.
  4. Thanks for that! I'll be looking out for that.
  5. Does anyone know how to get the power plant pieces from 60281 and 60282 without getting the entire set? I need those for my layout.
  6. Nah! I say just buy the retured set off of eBay. That's what I usually do.
  7. I'm glad it's a crook's hideout and not another police station.
  8. How about a big prison and make it standalone?
  9. I did some major mods to mine. I removed the prison piece as it really wasn't needed and added windows to the opened part on the side of the office because I never cared for opened sides. Then I expanded the garage part to accommodate my 60239 Police Patrol Car.
  10. Exactly! I was so ticked off by the last police station that I ended up breaking that one up and finding the 60047 version on Ebay. It was a great deal as it was still in its factory sealed bags. The 2020 police station was TERRIBLE. The good thing about City buildings is that you can mod them to meet your standards. Not 60246. It was ruined beyond repair. As far as the fire station is concerned...for me, it's just the right size for my town. An example of simplicity and detail put together. As @Maple said, it's a shame that the 2020 police wasn't compatible. Congrats dude.
  11. I wonder why Lego hasn't done something like that. Just like I wonder about the towing barge.
  12. I think it looks nice! My only disappointment was the fact that it's not big enough for a bigger fire truck like the one from 60214.
  13. You mean like this one? I love that idea! Let's do it, Lego. I love all of those. @DBlegonerd7 Maybe we can codename your subtheme idea as Environment.
  14. My take on a Towing subtheme revival for City. A small roadside assistance vehicle that is used when someone needs a jump. Includes broken down car A tire transporter truck for cars with flat tires. This one could include a car. A light duty tow truck like that one from the tuning shop with a six stud wide sedan-like automobile A heavy wrecker with a big rig to tow. Perhaps the rig from the 2021 fire command center can be the basis A flatbed tow truck that includes a broken down motorcycle A towing barge with a broken down boat A motorized breakdown train with a derailed flatbed A road rescue garage with some civilian cars and a helicopter EDIT A small aircraft transporter with an aircraft that needs repairs. Similar to the 2009 helicopter transport. A tow yard for impounded cars.
  15. OK!!!!! Those are things I would pay for. What if they did a salad truck with both fruits and vegetables? I'll buy. Thirded
  16. You just saw it during the beginning of the month.
