  1. @Alexandrina So you're a City fan too? What's your view on the new road plate system?
  2. @Powered by Bricks The only police vehicles I like from 2020 are the helicopter from the helicopter chase, the small steak out unit from the monster truck heist and the police car from the brick box. I'm actually planning to acquire the 2020 police station. I regret not getting that one when I had the chance.
  3. Yo! I've been wanting something like that for ages. I think we got something like it in 2011.
  4. I don't know about you, but I was hoping the prison transport would be one of those buses that takes the most dangerous criminals to prisons out in the middle of nowhere. That would've been something I'd pay for.
  5. I agree. Older City sets are much better. In my opinion, this is especially true for the emergency vehicles. I don't speak for anyone else, but I don't much care for the police and fire vehicles that were made for this year. It's not the fact that they are police or fire vehicles. But it's the fact that Lego actually finds it necessary to use those big ol monster truck tires for them. I hope they go back to normal tires for emergency vehicles in future. The ones from this year are too big for the loading gauge of my town and for the new road plate system. If I worked for TLG, I'd probably recommended a smaller gauge to fit the new road system. However. I'd give passes to the new fire helicopter and the police helicopter chase from 2020. Those are pretty neat.
  6. No problem. Actually I can see his reasoning for getting one of the older ones. The newer system is a bit hard to use I hear.
  7. Everything is controlled by the controller. Lights, sounds, movement, everything!
  8. The 2006 passenger train works like a remote control car. No apps are required for it. Just batteries. Hope that clears it up.
  9. I would definitely buy the SUV if that one was made as a great vehicle.
  10. My lips are sealed 🤫
  11. Well....um.....this is a rather unusual Lego town MOC. I love it though. You did an amazing job on it. My favorite part is that you used torsos from the old Adventures theme for the strippers. I also like Emmett's little cameo. 10/10
  12. That's kinda true tho. So I guess we should ex the square dancing piece out. What about the tractor race set though? The tractors are basically recoloured versions of the red tractor from this year.
  13. Those are amazing! Now if only Lego would do something like that.
  14. I'm actually redoing the plans for the roads on my town. I need to redo it to accommodate the new road plates.
  15. I know that. You were punked that's why. I was too when you told us that Brickset said it. Brickset was the one who announced it.
  16. If only that subway subtheme wasn't an April 1st prank. I still remember @icm putting that up.
  17. Thanks. As for the sets...meh. Not my thing. I think I'll pass on most of them. Its just that when you've seen so much of that subject in a certain Lego theme, you kinda get bored of it. But obviously the things that bore us are what unfortunately sales. I'll be saving my money for better stuff from City. At least that'll give me time to play catch up with the Winter 2021 sets.
  18. Ah yes! 2005 to 2009 - my TFOL years. Sadly those days are gone and given the current state of City now, I doubt the theme is ever going to be the same again.
  19. That's disappointing. I kinda was hoping for the building. Well I can't argue there. However as far as police are concerned, I think focuses on the part of the job that they are most known for. Police - Chasing Crooks Fire - Fighting Fires (duh) Coast Guard - Rescuing people out at sea Towing - Rescuing broken down cars Airport - Flying Emergency - Saving Lives Construction - Building Cargo - Getting products from one place to another Transit - Getting people from one place to another Focusing on the little things is probably just a waste of time in their eyes.
  20. Yes! Here is my take on a farm subtheme revival. A mini tractor race set with two tractors (a blue and green one). That would be a Tractor version of the race car duel set from 2020. A harvest time set with a green harvester and some haybells. A small set with a beekeeper and some bees A farm with an old fashioned pickup and a scene where the family is square dancing. A race horse transport with stable and finish line. Sort of a City version of that Friends set.
  21. I think that would be a go for City.
