  1. I do agree there though. I had an idea for a fruit van of some sort. Maybe it could be one of next year's great vehicles. What about a bakery van?
  2. Me too! The building was supposed to act as a reformatory school for criminals.
  3. You're disagreeing with facts. Again, those are builds that you'd see in a theme like Ninjago.
  4. This is for City sets though. Ideas like what you've mentioned would be good for a forum on Ninjago or Chinese New Year sets.
  5. Ideas for a possible postal service subtheme: A polybag of a mail man on a scooter with a small mailbox included. Just in case a child is into mail trucks instead of police cars, fire trucks or race cars - perhaps a standalone mail truck with a crate of letters. Could include a little mail box. The 2020 mail plane was kind of lame. How about a jumbo jet liner instead? Can include several City Mail workers, some mail crates, parcel crates and forklifts. All of this supported with a control tower. Similar to the cargo jet from 2013. A big rig, somewhat like this to deliver mail long distances. I heard about this mail service in Wisconsin that involves teens jumping from mail boats to collect and drop off mail. Perhaps something like that can be done for this subtheme. A motorized mail train with track. Of course for the base set (I love that term btw), we'll need the headquarters where all the action takes place; the post office! Ideas for a cargo subtheme revival A mini cargo truck for short distance deliveries A big cargo rig for long distance deliveries. A jumbo cargo jet, similar to the ones made in the last two cargo subthemes. Though I think the cargo heliplane was better. An updated cargo train - only this time, its owned by the CARGO company. For the base set, how about a ship dock instead of a land cargo terminal? That would be a good excuse to do a cargo ship.
  6. Great Job
  7. Nice! I've always loved town MOCs that involved town matter we don't see so much from Lego. I may actually build one of those but on a smaller scale.
  8. Who dares to call Lego an unhealthy obsession? Anyway, I wouldn't call it an obsession. Lego is a lifestyle. It's a culture. I only remember my first duplo set because I was 3 and already high functioning - due to having ASD. ASD actually worked to my advantage.
  9. Correction: the first set I had was technically this. I didn't graduate to small bricks until I was 6. Lego runs in my family too so my dad would train me on building with some of his classic town sets.
  10. Hey! I had that set. It was actually pretty good. I had all the buses in fact.
  11. If this became an actual set, I'd buy. Wouldn't it be funny if you stuck a Pepper minifigure in this?
  12. You know a car I hope makes it? The William's FW43. That car is a masterpiece.
  13. I was kinda hoping for an airport VIP service set this year as we didn't get one with last years airport wave. They should also do a private chopper for dignitaries. I kinda have been wanting an R.E. Fendrich (from Lego City Adventures) minifigure and the airport VIP service set seems to be good opportunity to put that out there.
  14. I agree with both of you. I mean what is with people and disliking the wildlife sets? I got into an argument with someone on a Lego community on social media. I understand the oversaturation of stunt sets for the summer as those numbers could've been used as expansions to the lame airport wave of 2020, a small (but not 4+) bus stop set and a coast guard revial. Don't we get enough stunt stuff in City? But the wildlife sets did nothing wrong. Give those a break. I'm actually planning on snagging some when they come out.
  15. What about white or silver? I mean it could represent the moon.
  16. Trains shouldn't be a subtheme of City. The cargo and passenger trains should be integrated into cargo or public transport subthemes.
  17. Nice job! Reminds me of those gas stations you'd see on shows that take place in the 50s or 60s.
  18. They're not perfect, but I wouldn't necessarily call them ugly. Remember, this is City we are talking about - where the sets aren't always going to be perfect as the theme is at least 70% for children. These are also leaks with the prototypes so that means this isn't the final product. I can definately use the bikes for some biking rebels in my town. The wildlife sets make great nature reserve sets for a park of some sort. Or this may be the zoo subtheme that people have been asking for. Hmmm........I think I will get that one. Maybe I can convert it into a location for TV 6+.
  19. Bro! Whoever's idea it was at TLG to release town sets in the winter, I give kudos to. I doubt it'll happen, but if they release those every winter as well as a small wave during the summer, my wallet will always have a hole in it.
