Forget the ships! I'm interested in the new housing development that supposed to take place in Lego City this summer. Which speaking of, I know the apartment building and house w/car may not be exciting. But at least we have closure knowing that there is at least somewhere to live in the city.

They're being released on June in WHAT countries? I know the US won't get them until August given the patterns of the last three summer waves. It's always the good sets we've gotta wait for. You've got a town too! Nice! My town is always developing.

That's not true. You go across this forum and on various social media posts, people point out that City has some sets that are overpriced.

I just need a school building that looks decent and this one fits the description.

Yeah! I'm sure they've got phone and locator device pieces in there. Turning it into that will be easy as the alphabet.

I'm using the emergency HQ for a 911 dispatch center in my town.

I enjoyed the characters too. There are of course other characters that they haven't released yet. But I guess they weren't popular enough. My suggestion for a send off to the series would be a special edition collectible minifig box with every named character that has appeared in the series.

If I get the police academy, it would only be for parts expansion.

I'm trying to get this one to replace the City school in my town. It has a much better build quality.

The only City set I'm officially buying from the winter wave is the emergency response center. Depending on how they look, summer is likely when my wallet will be taken advantage of the most. My town needs buildings. We've got enough vehicles.

I agree! The 2014 ones were way better. Especially the base.

So thats the out of the city theme for this year. Like a lot of the sets for 2023, my standards are set really low for the summer wave. Though if they actually do an ice cream shop, that would be interesting.

I'm definately behind that one. I cam up with the idea of a spin-off of Speed Champions called Railway Heroes, which would be centered around real trains and locomotives. I guess some trains from the subway systems can actually fit there.

Congratulations on the new town! I hope to see more of it in the future. Good Idea starting with the police station as it was one of the first classic town sets.
