Here is a freebuild for Mitgardia! A small scene of everyday life in Horgaard. Falconry was a serious matter in Horgaard. Generations of birds of prey had been raised and trained there : generations of powerful hunting companions, tireless war messengers, and, on at least one occasion, life-saving air fire support. Little Siggi, nine years old, already knew everything about this critical aspect of his education as a young noble. The different kinds of birds, how to handle them, and how to train them. The history of the art of falconry, the evolution of the techniques, and their regional particularities. He even knew the names and stories of all the famous birds raised by his family much better than he knew the names of their owners. However, his falconry knowledge remained desperately theoretical. He had already been allowed to fly a trained kestrel, but the adults considered him too young for a greater bird. Sooner or later, he would train his own mighty eagle. In the meantime, he had much fun handling the lure. As usual, more information on the featured flora/fauna is given in hidden text.

It's a very small and humble dwelling and I would understand if it is not considered enough for the Citizen of Mitgardia title, but here is the goatherd's hut built in the summer pastures of Horgaard : A tiny fey also established her home in the rock :

I had already seen the individual photos on your Flickr, but here on the forum, grouped in a single page, the whole portfolio is even more impressive! I really love how your minifig posing and choice of photo angle and depth of field complement the text. Thank you very much for the build and for the story!

Same issue here. I tried both Paypal and credit card checkout, and with different browsers - makes no difference. Something has been improved though : my cart has not been emptied and still contains all the B&P parts I selected.

That's really a great scene! The minifig posing and expressions are well chosen, and the building is impressive. I particularly love the roofs!

A submission for House Phase I : Goatherd's Hut -
This is an entry for Age of Mitardia - House Phase I. Orri Ingvarson, Horgaard's herdsman, was a happy young lad. Every summer since his coming-of-age, he would lead the small herd to the high mountain pastures. Up there, everything was quiet, everything was peaceful. He enjoyed being alone above the tree line, watching the clouds drift by of listening to the eagles' shriek. This year was a special one : the old, decaying shed where he used to spend his nights and seek refuge during thunderstorms had been demolished. With the help of all the villagers, a new one had been built a short distance further. And Orri felt there was something...odd with his new home. The floor seemed to clean itself. The dishes seemed to wash themselves. Flower bouquets seemed to appear out of thin air on the table. And his goat milk supply was depleting. Like with my previous build, you'll find below a few details on the featured flora.

All of those are absolutely great, but the Matching-costume Dad & Baby Kong are just...pure cuteness overload perfection.

I think I love everything in this build : - The nanofig-scale is an excellent choice that allows a sufficient level of detail without having a gigantic MOC. - The color palette is nice and harmonious (dark green soil with green vegetation looks especially great, may I borrow the idea?). - The forced perspective is cleverly done. - The idea of building a micro-scale Zamorah before building detailed MOCs of the locations is simply brilliant. It really help us readers to get into your shire!

I have to admit that I'm rather enthusiastic about the series. Fair amount of useful elements for my favourite MOC settings, medieval-fantasy and vintage explorers, even if there are few minifigs directly related to those themes. For medieval-fantasy : - I'm not really into ghosts or gloomy moods, but following @Brother From Another Brick's review of the the Ghost Knight (thank you very much!), I'll definitely get at least one - if only for that gorgeous chainmail printed torso! - The Monkey King seems to feature beautifully printed elements as well. I'm eagerly waiting for high-res pictures and/or detailed reviews, but a priori those elements would be great for an elvish setting of some sort. - I don't really care for the Dog Sitter herself, but a medieval village never has too many dogs! The tan bulldog from CMF 17 is my favourite LEGO dog, I'm really glad to see a recolor (the new one's expression looks less cute though). The poop element could be easily reused as well. The green shovel too, maybe even misused to build some sort of vegetation. - Fox Girl is cute as a button even if she doesn't really fit in a medieval setting. But her sack and recolored chicken (it's tan, isnt' it?) definitely fit in and will be very welcome in my village. For vintage explorers: - Of course, I'll definitely get a handful of Johnny Thunders. I'm more into fleshies and the torso doesn't seem to feature any yellow skin, which is not the case with older torsoes from this theme. I'm wondering whether it has back print. The dual-molded legs and the backpack look very versatile. And that chameleon...is simply one of the cutest animals ever! - The elements from the Monkey King that would not fit in a medieval-fantasy MOC would definitely fit in a vintage jungle one. - Just like Dog Sitter, Flamingo Lady herself is of no interest to me. But her accessories do : those three-leaf stems are very useful for landscaping (and this one seems to be normal green), and the flamingo could be a fun colorful addition to a vintage, cartoonish tropical setting.
