Aye, that be a fair point. This build is impressive already on its own.
-
This be a great mix of classic and new style. Are there more pictures available from different angles? Do these buildings include interiors by any chance? Either way, ye have done a masterful job on this town MOC. It is absolutely beautiful.

This be a lot to take in. Impressive shots of yer city. Everything looks splendid! Good work and welcome to Eurobricks!

[OFFICIAL] One Piece LEGO Theme - PRE-ORDERS
Jack Sassy replied to thewatchman's topic in LEGO Pirates
Alas, I am not planning on purchasing any of these sets, lovely as they are. There be some sets from 2023 and 2024 still on my list that require the attention. The price inflation also is quite an important subject. I might get the Black Pearl (if the rumours be true) but the rest of 2025 will remain as an empty slot in me collection. What about ye, Sire? Will ye be purchasing any of these sets? Then again, as I understand, yer collection of Pirates sets is rather satisfactory on its own. -

The sets themselves do look lovely. I particularly like the stern of that ship, seems to be well constructed. The sail with those dark red stripes seems like an interesting addition, though it be a shame that the other one is not the same. The smaller dock set and the restaurant could also be useful. -
[MOC] Pirates of the Caribbean - Shipwreck Cove
Jack Sassy replied to MAP Tec's topic in Pirate MOCs
It was a fairly complex island in the film and ye have managed to recreate a recognisable version of it in microscale. I do appreciate the inclusion of the meeting room and the treasury. Be the latter yer own improvisation? I believe nothing like so appeared in any media. Good job on this one! EDIT: It seems this be a duplicate of the original post. @Mister Phes, could you kindly merge this topic with the other? -
[OFFICIAL] LEGO Icons 10365 Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Ship
Jack Sassy replied to CloneCommando99's topic in LEGO Pirates
Aye, one of the last scenes in the fourth film showed Barbossa in his typical garments aboard the Queen Anne's Revenge. For now I do think LEGO will release just the Black Pearl. -
[OFFICIAL] NEW Pirate in 2025 Q3 Build a Minifigure selection
Jack Sassy replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
So I see, strange, in this light the colour seems very much red. Suppose I will have to purchase some reddish orange bricks. The torso itself seems like a close copy of the new Captain Redbeard's jacket: -

So, what be the exact colour of his torso? It seems red, though I be not familiar with all the new colours introduced in the last three years. -

He could be included in the Queen Anne's Revenge, if we were to assume that the other two vessels were to be released. -
Aye, I echo yer troubles. At first glance the jacket seemed to be in coral colour, if the be the case, it might be a strange choice indeed.

[MOC] Johnny Thunder's motorcycle with sidecar
Jack Sassy replied to The Reader's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I always thought that Doctor Lightning is the type to write things in his diary so he wouldn't have to remember them. I like both of these designs, though have to agree with ye that the second makes it blockier. Good job on both! -
A shame, for we lose another great pirate themed torso. I was referencing the voting poll conducted some time ago. I believe it was about the next most likely set remake to be a GWP after the Blacktron Cruiser. The Sabre Island ranked quite high which sparked some discussion on these forums. I would rather see it as a regular set, along with a whole wave but if GWP be the modern way of LEGO, so be it.
-
I still be waiting for that Sabre Island GWP. Are the Bluecoat torsos still available on PAB? Those certainly have been a blessing these past years.
-
@TalonCard, yer call was correct!
-
To be honest, that pirate minifigure on the left reminds me more of the singer Brandi Carlile, which be not a bad thing. Just that she looks more like a rockstar rather than an aristocrat. The torso itself seems closer to those 19th century designs. Either way, a good torso!
-
Good to see the orange epaulettes in use! Are they a part of some specific uniform?
-
These be some good modifications! I feel that the colours for the first wave were perfect, while later these models had too much colour. The cabin works quite well. We shall wait for the next step of yer modification!
-
The shaping is astounding! I do appreciate that the car scales fairly well with the minifigure. The background enhances this MOC too. Good job!
-
I am stuck on the captain's cabin as the stern design turned out too blocky. I do hope to finish it before the end of this year, but no promises shall be made. Yer designs are always a good inspiration and motivation for me to continue with this long overdue project.
-
Ah, I did not notice the new flag colour, it looks lovely! I also noticed a sign on the other side which says ''Marooned Marina''.
-
A beautiful design! Like ye said, this could have very well been a part of the Classic Pirates contest. I especially adore the sleek boat design. Good job! Ah, that takes me back to when I first discovered it. Good research!
