  1. Great looks, that car came out really well. Will you provide a digital model? I'd love to see that in lime with some small changes making a 'Cuda out of it.
  2. Much obliged! Fantastic car and nice video, and the used color scheme is also great. BTW the other MOCs in the video look cool, too. I hope this will jump onto the hottest MOCs page(s) soon.
  3. Ok, no hurry, I am still waiting for my 42111 to ship. Thanks a lot! I didn't recognize that one can also select a custom list for comparison. That should do it.
  4. @efferman: Much thanks for the instructions, I actually was prepared to build it from the digital model alone, but very welcome. Say is there an easy way to find out, what parts I need in addition to the parts from 42111? I could import the digital model as parts list on Rebrickable, but couldn't find a way to compare that with the inventory of the 42111.
  5. Very cool, and it even makes a wheelie! I think the rear window now better matches the other window frames. If the real 42111 would look like that, that'd be great. Next stop, 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner?
  6. Looks really badass! It's awesome how you could fix the parts in place with all these angles on the front and rear fenders. For the rear window, I find the frame a little too thick. Maybe one could use the parts that make the A pillars also for the rear window?
  7. Looks cool! I just had to LOL when I realized the sausages at the rear end. FWD is an interesting alternative not seen here very often IIC.
  8. I know, but I thought if these (43.2 x 20) tyres fit, than the 49.5 x 20 tyres would also - which they actually do (I have one on my table right now) - and they already have a bigger diameter leading to an even bigger diameter (a little bit less than the 56 x 28 ZR tyre) with the used rim.
  9. Also linking that here in the actual thread about the 42111 Charger mods and improvements. Original idea is from @I_Igor:
  10. Quoting the picture for understanding. @I_Igor: That's cool! Though it's really hard to get the tyre on this rim, using the 49.5 x 20 tyres and something around the rim to keep the tread outwards could bring us the missing contemporary wheels for the 42111 Charger. The resulting wheel diameter is slightly smaller than the used 56 x 28 ZR tyres and it's considerably thinner.
  11. @kbalage: Saw your video when browsing through YT. Lower looks really cool (and better than the original!). And maybe there's a way to have it that low at the front and still have some form of suspension (e.g. with brick-built shocks?).
  12. Very cool! Also like the color scheme. One thing: Would it be possible to tilt the rear upper end a little more?
  13. Oh man, your parts are sooo scratched! The Eyesight renderer is really amazing. Modifications look good (especially the changed mounting of the headlights)! Maybe add a black 1 x 4 modified plate with one stud on each end at the front fenders, connecting the two upper panels? Or will that hinder steering?
  14. Finally, the F A H R maschine has arrived! Well, I wasn't satisfied with the actually planned back story for this car, so went for a different approach (i.e. this sort of introduction) and plan the real back story (i.e. the "in-depth look on this power house") for a later date. What's new? This was the first car in this series that uses RWD instead of AWD. It has a different front axle construction and an interesting alternative road performance, compared to the cars with AWD. The body construction is not ideal - actually two parts not interconnected - but it's sturdy enough for driving and it's good-looking IMO. Actually I still find it one of the best looking cars in this series. Pictures: Hope you like the logo - if you haven't noticed it yet, as it's available since quite a while in the first post. Some of the other cars are now also available on Rebrickable (including a car yet unpublished on Eurobricks). Have a look if you like, the digital models are available from there.
  15. Fascinating. How does it work actually? I assume there must be some sort of translation from build steps to render steps. If that works fully automatic with ready-made build steps that would be really cool. BTW, small error near 1m50s, the perpendicular pin connectors are moved over the stops of the 3L pins. Not that important though.
  16. Another thing to note: There's now a second source for 20 x 30 mm rims which allow for the pivot point to be located inside of the rims AFAICS.
  17. What went wrong? The background almost looks like "in scale" with the car. Looks pretty good IMO! BTW IIC there's a sticker with the Ferrari horse with black background in set 8143 (sticker # 7in part 8143stk01 on BrickLink) which might fit perfectly in the middle of your front grill section and the middle of your rear lights section - if you're into stickers. Might add the final touch.
  18. Just saw these two videos here: ...and also noticed they have sort of GT-R: LEGO should provide something similar for their Mustang, me thinks.
  19. Hey, your chassis is already cool enough with all that features. I would have not considered that possible in 42093 scale.
  20. Nice lines all over the place! I like it very much. Cool usage of that lime "mudguard" pieces at the rear bumper, that looks really organic. TV screen in the boot - reminds me of the Nitro Intimidator.
  21. @sirslayer: Ha, ha, that was a good one. LOL!
  22. Oh, and the supercharger has to go, for those Aero Warriors were aerodynamic. They also had some small but visible domes over the front wheel arches: BTW, nice video about the history of the Charger Daytona and the Plymouth Superbird:
  23. @sirslayer: Check this thread: ...I think the panels I used at the front could also work for this larger scale model.
  24. Nice work @Void_S! If you do new renderings in the future, would you maybe try the LBG parts that are chromed in reality also chromed in the model?
