  1. Yikes… no cheap ones. I’m still on board with this theme just out of morbid curiosity to see how it’s gonna turn out, but unless these sets really impress, I’m probably gonna pass.
  2. How weird, the head shape almost looks like a minidoll. I haven't really haven't cared about this theme up until this point, but these definitely pique my interest. If there's a small set with one of these figs in it, I'll pick it up for sure. Nothing about this release date makes any sense though. It almost makes me wonder if these are based on the first movie.
  3. Not to be a wet blanket, but the popularity of Indiana Jones is at an all time low. If Lego wants these sets to sell, they’ve gotta appeal to the longtime fans and really focus on the iconic stuff that everyone loves and recognizes. I agree that a Mayan temple in Lego would rock, but a $140 Mayan temple set based off the most despised scene in the franchise would be a shelf warmer for sure.
  4. Since we’re on the subject of “probably wouldn’t happen but it would be cool if it did” licenses for this theme, I’d love a series of little vignettes based on Street Fighter stages. I mean seriously, how cool would it be to get ~300 piece display sets with a couple minifigures? They could even incorporate the health bars sort of like they did with the life counter in the Sonic set. Again, far from likely, but would be cool nonetheless.
  5. How funny, I just saw your project on my Instagram feed this morning. I really love it, tons of clever little techniques and the life-sized golden ticket is totally something Lego would stick in a set like this. Supported!
  6. We've talked about this before, and Lego doing something Final Fantasy related actually isn't too far-fetched at all. FF7R is only rated T in America and Pegi 16 in Europe, and Lego and Square just collaborated a couple of years back on those tie-in sets for that Avengers game that everyone forgot existed. As weird as it is to say, Lego doing a bar doesn't even sound as unlikely as it once was either. Since these days Final Fantasy is so closely tied to Playstation, I'd even go so far as to say that FF7 might be one of the frontrunners for some of the yet to be revealed sets.
  7. If this is the quality we can expect from these sets, we’re eating good
  8. Wasn't the goat eaten by the time the T-Rex broke out though? Adding the goat would just make the set less accurate.
  9. Sorry if this is off topic, but at about 5:50 in Jang's Video About These Sets he alluded to Lego possibly holding off on making the Ford Explorers until now because of something to do with the Firestone tire company. Does anyone know what he's talking about? Was there some controversy between the TLG and Firestone or something?
  10. If we end up only getting 4 Indiana Jones sets, do you think there’s a chance of them all being 18+ displays with a quote like that Jurassic Park set they just revealed?
  11. Ok, I’d completely lost interest in this theme after the disappointment of Fallen Kingdom, but I’m totally back. Not only did that trailer catch me totally off guard with how good it looks, but that Jurassic Park 18+ set has literally been my dream set since I was 7. If I dig around on the old family computer back home I’m sure I could find some decade old Lego Digital Designer models of exactly what’s supposedly going to be included. I know promobricks is as reliable as they come, but if this rumor turns out to be fake, I’m swearing off following the leak side of this community all together
  12. Yeah, you can definitely take a lot more creative liberties with Mario than with most other licensed themes. Most of those sets are based on nothing or share the vaguest similarities to something in one of the games, and you couldn't really do that with something like Zelda.
  13. Oh man, those were my favorite books growing up. Supported!
  14. I’d say lessons were learned but I don’t think many people ever took that guy seriously whatsoever. I know I certainly won’t miss him or his double posting.
  15. It's in a somewhat abysmal state at the moment. The player base has shrunk to a fraction of what it once was, and que times are ridiculous. I tried playing for the first time in a few years over the summer and gave up after a half hour because I was waiting upwards of ten minutes to play as my main. Your best bet might be to just wait for the sequel, but it's in total limbo. For example, there was supposedly a Lego wave planned to release alongside it like two years ago, but only one set has released and the rest have become Schrodinger's Lego sets (that's why this thread was started in 2019).
  16. Exactly! Indiana Jones is one of my all time favorite themes, and I think a large part of that was because it was quality over quantity. If this reboot does a dozen or so quality sets and maybe a D2C then vanishes for another decade, I honestly think it'd be for the best. I have extremely fond memories of watching Young Indiana Jones, playing all the games, and reading the comics back when I was a kid, but I really have no interest in sets based on anything outside of the main movies (and more importantly, I doubt Lego does either). The one exception I could MAYBE see them making in this regard is the new Indiana Jones game Bethesda is working on. It's certainly going to be a pretty high-profile release, and if they're still making sets whenever it releases I don't see why the wouldn't give it a tie-in or two.
  17. Is it bad if I’m still slightly salty about the hood of the original almost 9 years later? That moc looks so so good with the slanted tiles and cheese slopes! I really shouldn’t get my hopes up, but the name of the thread is dream licensed themes so what the heck.
  18. If any company could sort out the licensing, it would be Lego. They're one of the only toy companies out there to have a working relationship with both Square and Disney, and with that Lego games theme that's supposedly dropping this spring, anything's possible.
  19. Wait that would actually be really cool. There are so many MacGuffins in those movies that would work super well as life size Lego builds. If they did the golden idol, the stones from Temple of Doom, the grail and the diary, the crystal skull, and maybe even his whip, hat or satchel, that would make a great display set.
  20. Just passed 2.5k supporters on my Hollow Knight set and figured I'd drop it here to see if anybody would be willing to support: Here's the project link if anyone is interested https://ideas.lego.com/projects/66cf4c6c-8932-49af-8445-6443ca1cd6bc Thanks guys!
  21. Wow, you guys literally manifested that wtf. If this ends up being true, the Aston Martin just became my most anticipated set of the year. And while I’m not a Fast and Furious fan personally, it could be fun to get figs of Vin Diesel or the Rock.
  22. Welp, I learned a valuable lesson
  23. The same source that said we’re getting the Horizon Zero Dawn set also said we’re going going to be getting an Uncharted Jeep in March. If they’re saying it’s a March release date, we might be learning if there’s any truth these Lego Gaming rumors sooner than we expected
  24. Haven't been on Eurobricks in a while and decided to pop in because of all the Indiana Jones Buzz over the past few days. Am I correct in saying that Indiana Jones coming back is almost definitely happening at this point, but the comeback being the "coconut" theme is just speculation? I read the stonewars article and it seemed like pretty farfetched speculation that didn't really have any solid evidence, but people on here are talking about it like it's a sure thing? Is there something I'm missing or are we all just getting a little too excited again
