  1. I was playing around with shutter speed and exposure to make some variants And I made a pink bg version just for you @Mister Phes, because I knew you'd appreciate it
  2. I think the blackcoat comes from the chinese brand 'zhegao'. The BrickGuild torsos on the other hand are printed on official TLG torsos
  3. Soon enough :) The greens, dark red, reddish brown, and bright light orange just came in the mail today
  4. Beautiful! Like LM71 mentioned, the fallen leaves are super great! The multiple leaf colors add a lot, too - hopefully TLG makes a yellow variation at some point. Great work
  5. Hey @lomis - The red and blue are official TLG and the black one on the right is from a knockoff Chinese brand. All of the other colors are from BrickGuild. The white one is UV printed and the others are pad printed. BrickGuild offers a few colors I didn't pick up as well... blue, red, dark green, grays, etc
  6. Thanks! I'm a sucker for aspen/birch forests. There are a ton near me here in Colorado and I love visiting / camping in them. Yes, the carriage is my slight modification to the recent Grindlewalde's Escape official set. In the set it is pulled by a flying beast and the front is a little lackluster, so I replaced it with a horse and added some slopes. I definitely recommend the set, though! The roof technique is one I saw on Flickr last year some time, though I can't find the reference. I didn't have the technique in front of me, but remembered it included overlapping tiles around an octagon. Woohoo about the LEGO store near you. I just went to a LEGO store for the first time a few weeks ago and picked up the bright light orange leaves there from the Pick-a-Brick wall - I think I'll be returning often Thanks @Kai NRG! My mother recently got me the Creator Bouquet set for my birthday and after displaying it for a little while (I gave the flowers two weeks of "life" before they "wilted") I pieced it out into my brick collection. Lots of fun pinks and lavenders. The bridle was fun - it's a Friends horse bridle that I used sideways to look more like a yoke for the carriage. Like @NOD said, two horses would have been better than one! I'll revisit in the future to include 2 horses I think.
  7. This is so epic! So many great details. The stone walls, vegetation, topography, and colors work really well
  8. Cool custom ship! Love seeing it fly the redcoat flag! Nicely done
  9. Nice clean build with ample vegetation. They chose a nice clear-flowing area to build, so perhaps it will smell a bit better than other areas of the settlement The building looks a bit cramped for three, but will serve the ETTC well! A GoC from me
  10. Have the light bluish gray dual-molded boot legs from the CMF 22 raccoon been mentioned yet? I think they will work well for imperials https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=970c00pb0411&idColor=86&name=Light Bluish Gray Hips and Legs with Black Boots Pattern&category=[Minifigure, Legs, Decorated]#T=C&C=86
  11. A network of hunting shelters promote vacationing nobles, medium commerce, evancelt
  12. The Duke of Hargyll had heard of the lush vegetation and good hunting surrounding Elizabethville on the island of Lacryma, and he endeavored to experience their wildness. As nobles with quite sufficient means, he and the duchess set out from Belson for the colonies. Upon arrival in Elizabethville, the Duke hired a carriage and guide to take them to the forest beyond the edge of the settlement. Around dusk they arrived at a small stone hunting shelter nestled among aspen trees. They would spend the night there and then set out away from the road on foot in the morning. A closer shot: ------- OOC: To be licensed as medium commerce in Elizabethville. BTS:
  13. Yes thank you GMs! My question is really just: is there a consistent place we can look for that deadline no matter what turn we are in (i.e., a place that lists the current next deadline for the current turn)?
  14. Thanks. Is there a reliable place we can look to see when the next tMRCA deadline is? Could that be posted at the top of one of the evergreen BoBS threads?
  15. Nice job! The cabin turned out wonderfully, and all of the different textures and mix of reddish-brown and dark brown really take it up a notch. Fun inclusion of the eagle! I like the vegetation details like the log poking out of the brush on the right. While the 6x5 leaf pieces are clunkier than 3741 or the pin version of the stem, they work really well for evergreens here. That is a large tree in the background! The seaweed bush looks quite prickly and I think minifigs of the Blocky Mountains would avoid running into those! The yellow neckerchief really pops! Was it hard to find a yellow that matched the head pretty closely?
  16. Great question @CapOnBOBS - I'll punt to @Ayrlego and @Bregir There has been internal discussion where the movement would be this turn, but they can confirm. I hedged here and made the story have them be *almost* there. @Brickwolf went in for a landing though with his 95ths Also, while I'm mentioning all these accounts, is ESL discussing joining the fight still, or did that peter out? ( @Capt Wolf / @KotZ)
  17. Nice job with the terrain and interior floors. Also a great collection of blackSMITHed wares inside!
  18. Oh yeah they aren't the same peoples, but once word is out... Courteous of you to let them know
  19. While the Lotii must have expected some sort of retribution, now word is out forces are coming Telegraphing maneuvers Fun collection of reddish-brown stick-like things in the first pic!
  20. Haha there are Duplos in the middle of the ship! I think in total the build took ~2 hours
  21. Glad to have the 95th alongside! Fun color choices for the vegetation
  22. Our perhaps yellow boots! EDIT: Just read the military entry and see they are short pantaloons. Nice story Khorne! I like the yellows in the wall and the troop design And the vegetation peeking out from behind the build trick never disappoints!
