Icons Landmark Buildings - Rumours and Discussion
Calvinw replied to Vilhelm22's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The price I'm sure would put a lot of people off buying it but at the same time, a lot (including myself) wouldn't hesitate depending on how the set actually looks. But I'm really struggling with the piece count...something has to knock the UCS MF off at some point as far as the most pieces in a set though. But will it be this (if it's even true haha).- 259 replies

Well I hope it's true but not going to lie a 9,000 piece set for that is hard to believe...- 259 replies

The D2C has my money for sure. No question about it. Based on the dimensions of the TV, I do wish it was a bit bigger though.

Perfect response. These sets are going to sell well in my opinion. I'll be picking up a couple for sure. -
LEGO Creator 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Calvinw replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Same landmark sure but I wouldn't put those in the same category. 10181 is a massive set and I believe still holds the title of tallest Lego set? -
I personally include the Grand Carousel and Fairground Mixer to be apart of the collection. The overall build and functionality of the newer Carousel can't be denied but the original is definitely a good set on it's own. And I hated that the newer one didn't have a sound brick which is something that's associated with Carousels. Also the Fairground mixer is exactly what a fair ride should be. They all pack up and get moved around from place to place.

LEGO Creator 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Calvinw replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I was hoping for the Eiffel Tower (10181) to come back at some point. It might be too old of a design though considering the amount of regular bricks it has. -
Personally I'd love to see some version of Main Street with a parade of some sort. A monorail would also be fantastic but I doubt they'd do that so soon after the train just came out.

100% buy for me! I'm relieved this theme will be continuing on! I only wish it was an annual thing.

I wish it was a new building but I have to admit, this is a very nice upgrade to the first version.

It's going to hurt if we don't get a new one this year! It's literally the set I was looking forward to most.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Calvinw replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
I really really wish I didn't click on that damn link haha -
I really hope they don't do that as well. It's one of my personal favorite lines that they have. There are so many different rides that can be made as well.

LEGO Animals available from Bricks & Pieces
Calvinw replied to Aurore's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Wow nice work! I hate that some of them cost so much though...$5.00+ for a horse is way too much in my opinion. -
Curious how these new sets will look. Personally I don't want to buy non Lego sets but we'll see.

[PRESS RELEASE] LEGO Creator Expert 10272 Old Trafford Manchester United
Calvinw replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Licensed
Do you realize that Football (not the American version) is the most popular sport in the world? It's called Football by billions of people around the world because that's exactly what it is. Just because the sport isn't as popular in the US as it is in the rest of the world doesn't mean everyone else should call it "Soccer". By the way I'm born, raised, and currently live in California so I'm speaking from a viewpoint of growing up watching, playing, and loving "American" Football. -

I'm not a big Football fan personally but I'll wait to see it in person before saying yes or not because it does look like a pretty good build. Plus the creator expert line is my personal favorite as well. Definitely surprised by the choice though. -
JANGBRICKS' 2019 Christmas Catalog Review
Calvinw replied to Driver Brandon Grumman's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The LM2 line is pretty much done I thought? Already on sale in official LEGO stores is pretty much a done deal. Based on the "unofficial" 2019 retiring set list, LEGO is moving on from them. More than likely due to lack of sales.- 13 replies

BrickHeadz 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion
Calvinw replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm wondering if these were actually supposed to be put out yet? It feels really early to be honest. We've seen stores put out product way earlier than they should multiple times.- 238 replies
