That place is pretty unorganized for a Flagship store.

Q2 2023 should be popping up within the next few weeks. Hope Q2 is a good as Q1 was!

Couldn't agree with you more. As I stated before, I do like the bigger sets as well, but I just want more balance in the sizes we get. Great points and unfortunately true. Being a huge fan of the line, I'll take what I can get, but I'd really enjoy more mid sized sets that aren't skylines.

I'm sorry? First off, read my post on January 1st when this discussion came up. My opinion about the larger architecture sets is pretty damn clear. I like them, but miss the smaller sized sets. I'd like to see a mixture of both. We've had plenty of them in the past, and it just seems like Lego has moved on from them for whatever reason. Not once did I mention anything about Skylines so I'm also not sure where you're getting that from. The Architecture line is one of my favorite in Lego. I've purchased literally every set with the exception of some of the extremely rare and harder to get models that were given to employees. And yes, that includes all the larger models of old and recent. You were way off with your comment when it comes to me. I'm not some casual fan of the line that doesn't support or know anything about it. Next time, try asking for clarification before assuming.

Definitely some great parts to choose from. The Candy Canes are hard to come by.

LEGO Star Wars 2023 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Calvinw replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The price of the leaked Jabbas Throne Diorama was too cheap. Wasn't it like $70 usd? Way too cheap for a molded Jabba and 4 other minifigures. I'm thinking the set numbers got swapped around as well. -
I'm also not a fan of this. I'd really like a smaller type set again. I enjoy the bigger models as well, but not everything needs to have a massive set for this line. Space is also a factor in the real world.

Disney Properties 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Calvinw replied to Huigberts Builds's topic in LEGO Licensed
Couldn't agree with you more. If this is true, it definitely seems like it'll be a smaller version of a castle like The Ice Castle a few years back. All I want is a D2C Disney Sleeping Beauty's Castle haha. I'm thinking a $250 set should do the trick, but I'll admittedly pay whatever it cost without hesitation. I'd be so confused if they don't come out with one after Cinderella's Castle retired last year. -
Looks really good!

I'd love to get a small scale architecture set again. I'm.fine with the larger models, but I do miss the regular sized buildings we use to get.

Disney Properties 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
Calvinw replied to Soupperson1's topic in LEGO Licensed
Even though Sleeping Beauty's Castle is significantly smaller than Cinderella's, that's way too cheap for it to replace the now retiring D2C. I'd say at least $250 for it to be done properly. I'd absolutely love for it to happen seeing as Disneyland is my home park in term of Disney. -
This looks amazing! Great job with this one.

Everytime I stop by there, I seriously wonder how the hell it's a Flagship store. Outside of the cool models built for displays, the PAB wall has been trash for MONTHS, and the build a minifigure is pretty much the same. They rarely have the newest models built on release day either. That store literally prints money due to their location. Which means it probably won't be changing anytime soon.

If the rumors are true and the new one has a loop, I'd imagine that will be the focus of the ride. Also less pieces and a bit cheaper has me thinking this is really going to be about the loop and a bit smaller overall.

Wow I had no idea the windscreen was being sold for that much!

Really hope we get a new ride this year! Definitely one of my favorite Lego themes.

I was hoping the Batman Art set was going to be different from all the previous ones. But based on the price and piece count, it sounds like the same.
-
Set looks nice in my opinion. Really hoping we get a couple more non skyline sets in 2022 though.
-
One set in back to back years is pretty sad if true. With literally hundreds of buildings they could choose, this would be a slap in the face to fans of the Architecture line. Really hope there's more in store for 2022.
-
I'd imagine it will be the normal price of $100 but I could be wrong. I do agree with you on the first impression of this set. The smaller pieces used in this must be a lot of the build because it doesn't look very big. I like the look of it and will be picking it up though.

The Taj Majal looks fantastic at this scale and is a decent enough building experience considering a lot of the build is repetitive. In my opinion it fits perfectly into the Architecture line and is a great alternative to the much larger Creator Expert model that Lego has released in the past. If you can get it on sale, even better. But if not, I feel it's worth the asking price.

I'd imagine because the first version of Hagrid wasn't officially for sale by Lego. It was only a GWP which a lot of people probably missed out on. I like the set. Harry definitely looks like he's seen some s... though haha.
