  1. All of those parts came with that Star Wars CCBS sets.
  2. One of the Beta Testers for LEGO World Builder just made an article on Brickset giving a more detailed explanation about how LEGO World Builder works: https://brickset.com/article/53460/more-on-lego-world-builder
  3. This has a lot of potential. The press release specifically mentioned that Creative Twists on already existing LEGO IPs are allowed, so for all those people out there who wanted to see the return of Castle, Pirates, Classic Space or Bionicle, this might be our chance.
  4. I'd say share it around on Discord and Twitter, there are a lot of LEGO fans out there.
  5. I can certainly get behind their fear that the line may not sell well outside of Chima (especially given the competition with Ninjago) but let's be real here, limiting your line's advertising to one country only is gonna greatly limit it's popularity and success. They could just as easily just focus their advertising in China, but also have a smaller release and marketing campaign in the rest of the world in order to boost the line's popularity. But they didn't even bother showing the sets in European LEGO catalogs, and I don't see how that's gonna do any good.
  6. Monkie Kid got nothing in the catalog I got. The line has basically zero advertising outside of Chima, which is a really bizzare decision on LEGO's part. That's one of the main reason why I think this line is gonna fail. Unless they decide to expand their audience for this theme by allowing it to be sold at normal retailers instead of just LEGO Stores and give it some proper advertising outside of Chima, I just can't see how in the world this line is gonna become successful.
  7. I'm pretty sure this was a factory misprint. Keep it safe! It might be quite rare.
  8. On clearance already? But they barely released like a couple of days ago! How can they go on clearance already?
  9. Nice little quiz, it was quite fun to through.
  10. Gosh, LEGO really should slow down from releasing so many huge sets... Most people won't be able to keep it up.
  11. I ended up getting the Lighthouse of Darkness and JB's Ghost Lab, and if I can find some good discounts, I could end up buying even more sets from this theme.
  12. I mean, the TLNM did underperform at the box office, but at the same time, Ninjago was one of the best selling themes of 2017 and 2018 because of the movie. So while it may have not made a whole lot of money as a movie, TLNM certianly worked as an advertisment for the sets. So I wouldn't surprised if TLG brought it back honestly.
  13. Not sure if this new Ninjago City expansion is true or not. As many have pointed out, it would be very weird to release another set branded under the LEGO Ninjago Movie 2.5 years after the last one. If it's indeed happening, it would probably be branded under Ninjago Legacy. Then again, at one point there was a rumor about a D2C Ninjago Borg's Tower set that never happened, so this being just another fake rumor wouldn't be impossible either.
  14. This looks incredible, very well done!
  15. That's very interesting... I was always fascinated about behind the scenes stuff, and I was always curious about the development process of LEGO themes, which was never documented in any way up to this point. I am really glad we have this documentary, and I really hope we'll get more of them in the future. I'll definitely check out that Monkie Kid documentary whenever I have some time .
  16. Perhaps the Hidden Side Magazines will continue, and we'll get an ending to the story in them? Though it seems unlikely, let's not forget that the Nexo Knights magazines continued until December 2018, and the final wave of Nexo Knights sets came out in Winter 2018.
  17. Has there been any confirmation on whether the Web Shorts series will continue or not?
  18. But why would the LEGO Customer Service straight out lie to us? I mean sure, it’s not uncommon seeing LEGO deny rummors, but outright mentioning upcoming sets? This whole thing is really weird. With that in mind, can we even trust the customer service anymore?
  19. I think it’s about time they do some changes to the LEGO Ideas system. I don’t believe they can effectively handle that many projects. Increasing the number of supporters required to get a set in the review stage would be the most natural thing to do right now.
  20. I mean, the final Nexo Knights wave wasn’t that bad IMO... it had a cool color scheme for the Villains, and also gave us some pretty interesting new pieces. I see that as an absolute win, personally. I have to agree with @BrickJagger here, one more wave for Hidden Side (even if it’s mediocre) would still be very much appreciated.
  21. Just went to my local retailer yesterday, and they were having most of the Hidden Side sets for 50% off. So I took that opportunity and bought the set I wanted the most from the theme, that being the Lighthouse of Darkness. If other people here were waiting for the wave 1 and wave 2 stuff to get discounted, now might be a good time to go and buy what you planned on getting before they completely disappear from shelves.
  22. Trust me, there are plenty of people out there who do that (myself included).
  23. So, Pirates as we know with may never come back in it's authentic form, except maybe in D2C sets like the Pirates of Baracuda Bay set. But here is my idea about how to make a new Pirates theme that could potentially appeal to both the older and the younger audience: What if there was a Fantasy Pirates theme? Similar to Pirates of the Caribbean, except it would be an original LEGO theme. It would be about a group of pirates who go on adventures on the sea, facing all sorts of mythical creatures, like the Krakken, Leviathan, Hydra, Sirens and all sorts of sea monsters like that. In that regard, you could have it be similar to the LEGO Vikings theme, where there is conflict in a box comprised of the minifigures VS a brick-built monster. The sets could feature more fantasy-looking minifigures as opposed to the more realistic ones we got from the original Pirates lines, with Ghost Pirates, Zombie Pirates, or Minifigures resembling Sea Creatures, like the ones we got with the Atlantis line. The potential with a concept like this is endless, and I think this might be a good way to make LEGO Pirates appeal to both older fans and few fans alike. What do you all think about this idea?
  24. Not only does this stand out as a really cool vehicle, but the Belville parts also add a lot to it! Great Job!
