  1. Lovely build and story as ever! The layered land rising up from the river is a particularly nice detail.
  2. I not being critical of your choice to add colour it brightens the build. I just feel that Lego doesn't give us the pieces to easily build in good colours, after all bright blue doesn't prove particularly useful in many situations. It is a nice build for the speeder though and a nice interpretation of the concept art. Keep up the good work!
  3. Very nice build and great story as ever. I am really interested to see how your story will play out, I think that Lu'vel could be a really interesting character. I really like the use of those disks from Yondu's ship as well. As for the speeder it isn't bad, I just think that the slightly more toned down colours are more useful but because of TLG using them so rarely it's difficult to use them for builds such as this. The bright colour scheme makes it look a bit cartoon, but it is difficult to avoid this effect, I have found it myself. Anyway great job with the build and the story, I can't wait to see what you will build next!
  4. Yes it is strange, I guess they are just so desirable that they are a major draw for the sets that contain them. Hopefully the range of sets with them expands in the future. I think that they could be a good addition to a people pack in an exclusive colour!
  5. They are also in padme in the pod racer 20th anniversary set and probably will be in others, I think that TLG is just looking for the best places to use them!
  6. Alsarh has decided that it will join but it regrets that the force it can currently provide will only be small. (The game has been quiet for months and if there is action I want to be part of it - even if I don't have so much time)
  7. Sorry, I would love to but can't do it this time - I'm working on some other projects.
  8. Nice, how many people can fit in it?
  9. Could you do a prototype of an updated version of an existing tie fighter role - still recognisable as the same sort of craft but updated/modified/up armoured to improve it? Or is this strictly we have seen it in this form and know that it exists? I'm happy either way, I just want to know whether I will need to modify one of my WIP's or not. Thanks!
  10. I agree that maybe a throne would be a good idea, but you have captured the 'lawless' vibe brilliantly into the first build. I really like the second build as well, it feels very realistic and you have managed to retain a feeling of light and spaciousness despite the dark colour scheme. Just a question, is the head for the pirate queen Ursula's from the Disney CMF?
  11. Great landscaping and some brilliant colour combinations. I really like the wiring in the cable and all the different crate designs. I love how many small details you pack into your builds and all the little boxes and supplies fit really nicely into this build.
  12. Yes (illegally) I will put a photo on later! Also I found a printed tile with a triumvirate style logo that would be the right colour to add it in another build. I was thinking of moving the directions of the floors around, I just ran out of time this time! Thanks for all the feedback guys, lots of great ways to improve!
  13. Nice, just a tip - use the flickr BBcode as the link for posting pictures. That way it will appear as a photo on this page rather than a link to a separate webpage. Don't worry, almost everyone does it at the start, but you will get more feedback posting it in this way. They look great by the way - keep it up!
  14. Love the tree design!
  15. Nice idea, and loving those crates!
  16. Nice mug! Ha ha ha. Which of the three builds is this?
  17. I have put some tiles on now and agree it looks so much better. I was rushing to try and get at least something uploaded yesterday, but now that I have had the chance to refine it, I think that it looks so much better - Thanks for the advice! Thanks, the small details were really the focus with this build and I am very happy with how they turned out, Glad that you liked them!
  18. *Your entry has earned 5 XP (x2 for limited challenge)* We were waiting on Nixor, a group of troopers fresh out of training eager to join a unit and see the galaxy, but for now we were enjoying some time off. The Underworld here may have had a somewhat shady reputation, but for a bunch of new recruits, it was a cheap enough part of town to be attractive. http://Cyberpunk style star wars slums by marvelBoy123, on Flickr http://A side view : star wars cyberpunk by marvelBoy123, on Flickr http://More star wars cyberpunk slums by marvelBoy123, on Flickr The eight of us crowded round the table eager to see who would win our game. We were a group of nine but TK-4072 didn't join in, always the try-hard, he waited patiently for us around the corner. http://IMG_20191112_193310845-01 by marvelBoy123, on Flickr Then, out of the blue, some barabel - a nasty character by all counts - came and snatched one of our helmets. He made the mistake of stealing the one that belonged to 'Clash' - all I will say is it didn't end well for him. It was certainly an eventful start to serving the Triumvirate. This is my first build here, I was inspired to join by your brick built aliens entries and loved all of them. Sadly, I was too late to submit a build for it but I have got to used my Barabel and Miraluka here (see picture 3 for the latter). I have been heavily inspired by @Darth Bjorn's cyberpunk-esque style for buildings so here is this build. I can't promise to be a regular (I primarily build for the Great Brick War) but am glad to be part of this community now. I would LOVE your feedback: anything you like, want to see in future builds or think I can improve - please let me know!
  19. Nice build, is this D3 in Alsarh or Erotema?
  20. I love your technique of a black vignette-style border with then the terrain spilling over it. It really feels organic and is one of the things that really brings your builds to life. I have got to agree about the storyline as well - very nice. Keep up the good work!
  21. Love the build, but the stand out piece has to be that bird - you managed to capture so much detailing a small area. Good Job!
  22. Hey @Darth Bjorn could I join please?
  23. Captain Absalom Eleazar Davenport http://Steampunk ghost by marvelBoy123, on Flickr A man from a lost time when steam powered the world. Once a skilled pilot and mechanic, he met his demise fighting sky pirates. He has travelled the world on his ghost ship seeking vengeance on the pirates but became stuck in the town of Newbury after his ship crashed.
  24. Agreed, that does look brilliant. Also I love the Universal Hull Family Vehicles, especially that turret design. I updated my fighter from the last post and am proud to show the prototype for the MIK-32. It is not perfected yet, but pretty near what I was hoping for. http://MIK-32 by marvelBoy123, on Flickr
