Yes, the front ones are 10 studs wide and the rear one only 9 studs wide. I wasn't able to go closer for the front one and keeping the possibility to steer

I have to totally agree with this statement, I'm not a big fan of it but for budget reason I did it like that I could have used the same setup as the front one (a 19L soft axle) but the rigidity of the build was compromised.

Ho Ho Ho, Santa is bringing you presents. (Jokes apart it's been a long time since I hadn't updated this project) The car is finally finished and I have done and checked the instructions. It's a 1218 pages long pdf with detailed instructions. It's made out of 1224 steps for 2892 parts. I'm considering to sell the instructions for roughly 10 to 12 € as I put a lot of time to make them. I was just wondering if I can legally sell the instructions by calling it a Subaru or if I have to ask permission to the brand for that. Anyway you can download a little sample of the instructions here. And as a bonus here are some pictures and renders. The "most wanted" pic Some renders of different parts And the gearbox And finally; why have one car when you can have two times the same ? Hope you like it. Touc4nx

For 42106, I don't like the color scheme, However it has some n°3 connector in red and small mudguard in red so I might buy it one day. -

I thought that too, I don't understand how one whole assembly was able to break in the video And so much power, I wonder how frequently you had to charge the BuWizz ? -
Regarding the video they posted on their own channel, I see that as followed: Even though we (AFOLs or MOCers) make video about Lego which has children as main target, we should mark our video as not made for children. For exemple, Imagine that I publish a video about a complex technic moc. In my opinion this video isn't targeting children (as the US law sees it) because I'm pretty sure that most of the children that are under 13 won't fully understand the words and the complexity of what I have built. Therefore I would consider that my content is made for more mature (with more reflexion and knowings about the subject) people. Moreover I don't think that a child would like to watch a video where he doesn't understand half of the words/concepts involved. Concerning the monetization and the ads I can't really give an opinion as I do not monetize my videos. I just want to clarify that my message hasn't the goal to lower the children, I fully aware that some of them will have the exact opposite reaction that what I have described.

Step 1000 of the instruction is here. Instruction are 90% done. Then I will have to check if they are right (and buildable) Anyway here is a render of the different colored ones (the background isn't part of it)

Just a quick update as I'm doing the instructions : you can download a .csv with the part list here.

I'm sorry but I can't help you, it works but I don't know why maybe as you suggested it has to do with the kingpin inclination and caster angle ? Here is two picture if that can help.
-
Here are some schematic to clarify it @Nazgarot: The blue line represent the inner wheel and the pink represent the outer wheel.

Instructions are coming along nicely. For now I just have made the chassis and the gearbox. And it's already 341 pages long

It looks amazing When I saw the first picture I thought it wasn't lego and was a scale model. The stickers look so clean. Is the front axle on suspension ? -
I don't think, just looking at it, however if you want to get rid of every visible blue pins it will be expensive. And there is also a decent amount of black 3L axle. And 16 6L thin Liftarm in light bluish grey. You will need a 4.5cm long pneumatic tube in grey : It's to make the Turbo : You also need two 16L soft axle in black. And I made the car using a BuWizz to get a pseudo-decent performance. I think that's all, if I find any other part that might be rare or expensive I will tell you.

It's done on the real model, it's just not visible in the render as Stud.io doesn't allow to flex the axle great. By the way it's been a long time since I haven't uploaded anything new because I was working on the chassis. So now I'm proud to present you the whole car : I will now start doing the instructions for it. Just for fun, here is the gearbox : Hope you like it. And have a nice day.
