  1. Using these arms, you are likely to have some problems, as your arms are 7L and the driveshaft is 6L. And if you use 6L link, you will have bomb steer, as your link won't be the same size as your arms. and to add the servo, I recommend you to have the drive coming from the front of the axle, and the steering rack on the back of the axle (talking about front axle, for the Rear one, it's the opposite.)
  2. For a set that has no proper suspension, I'm impressed.
  3. Interesting. I like it. I was just wondering, where is the engine in the dumper ? I like the fact that the A and B model are made on totally different theme.
  4. New way to store axles: Sorting them, I realized that I have quite a few milky white axles, whiteout knowing where they come from...
  5. I would say, the best place to spend your money depends on the parts you need... If you want some specific ones then use Bricklink, but depending on the part it might be expensive. If you want some thecnic parts, you can check this store : https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/bagsobricks (there are some interesting parts pack) If you have more time, and don't necessary want new/recent lego, I would suggest you to go in the bric a brac sale near you, it's definitely the cheapest way to buy lego.
  6. Wow, that's impressive. So much functions and blue/black color scheme I just have one question, what is this 8 tooth gear used for ?
  7. Wait, On brick link it says that the "new" mould exist only in spike prime, but I have not these set but have this part... (on the left, the "new" one, on the right the "old" one.)
  8. is there also some white bevels gears ? (On the "foot" of the left creature)
  9. I the differential used as a central one, or is there the one for the wheels ? Anyway, looks promising. And btw, you can color the tyre with rubber black color.. It will remove the "shiny" color of the tyre.
  10. It's not like if we already had Dark blue violet, Blue Violet, Trans Dark blue, Royal Blue, Sand Blue, Metal Blue, Trans Very Light Blue, Blue, Dark Blue, Medium Blue, Trans Light Royal Blue, Chrome Blue, Bright Light Blue, Dark Azure, Maersk Blue, Skye Blue, Light Blue, Trans Medium Blue, Vintage Blue, Glitter Trans Light Blue, Trans Blue Opal, Medium Azure and Pastel Blue. One more or one less, what does it change at this point ?
  11. If you want to stay with your idea to swap the fake engine by a motor, then just exchange the gears linking the fake engine and the differential. And batteries are drained considerably fast if you use two L motors.
  12. In my experience, the differences in rpm between two motors is hardly noticeable... And if you have to use a lot of torque, then hard coupling is better ( and avoid bevel gears in angle)
  13. Is that this part that holds the curved panels in front ?
  14. Is that this part (in front of the truck in dark blue or is it in blue ?
  15. there is also the comeback of these : In White and blue respectively absent since 18 and 9 years.
  16. Seeing the build, I'm disappointed, it feels like if they took the Chiron's Chassis and put a different Bodywork on it... I mean : the seats are on the same place, the gearbox is roughly the same, the shifter is the same, Transmission is almost identical, without any improvements (central diff, true reverse and not just a lever to choose from forward-neutral-reverse) However, adjustable spoiler seems cool
  17. Concerning parts in new colors, there is also https://rebrickable.com/parts/32235/hose-soft-axle-19/#part_usage in lime https://rebrickable.com/parts/32580/hose-soft-axle-7/#part_usage in lime https://rebrickable.com/parts/32200/hose-soft-axle-12/#part_usage in lime (might be 11L)
  18. Not sure if this has been posted yet, but the spike prime Sets are aviable on the Lego Website..
  19. 52: 10 28: 6 59: 4 2: 3 21: 2 61: 1 If I could have voted for twelve entries I would have . So much great entries
  20. Some Progress today : I added an interior, with working steering wheel. It's still quite rough. I also linked the spoiler with the red part in the cabin. And I started the rear bodywork; but I'm not satisfied with it... For now that's it.
  21. Probably But it's lego so it's okay ;) Yes, it's exactly the width of the 42098 car : I'm not sure to understand what you mean, but the wheel setup is still this one : Nope, the front axle is more steered that the rear one (roughly 1.6 times more)
