That's ridiculous! People's lives are at stake!--and your the sheriff! Well, mud pies--it seems this town is he'll-a bent on hanging me despite my town-ness and my service. It seems all over for the town drunky, so before the noose done take me breath I've got some words! I beith town through and through, I also hope the Thomson family done burn in hell. And...most of...I have to reveal...that none of ye know...I beith an alcoholicth!

Of course I'm trying to get the heat off me! I'm defending myself because I'm town! I'm just a regular town with no claims and no left eye. And because I'm just average (and possibly annoying?) I'm the one you want to vote for? I see the votes as an attack on me because I stood out the most for being the most suspicious of Sheridan, and I'm getting a vote from Michael because of it (as well as sheridan and missguided/scum others). And I see Esther as a scum, because of her early judgements/lists and her claim--which cannot be verified before the hanging, and therefore is very likely a lie to stall time/votes. Hence my vote for Esther. I don't know what I need to convince you townsmen of my loyal-ness. I don't have claims of a scapegoat, I don't roleplay my way out of not saying original thoughts, and I don't have a supposed PR claim to fall on.
-
I will say (about change of heart), that it was due inpart to the lack of support for my claim that her, er claim, may be false. Most people seem to not care about it, and have forgotten it--hence I felt it best to vote for the next scumiest person in my mind, rather then have my vote be basically discounted. As for your comments on Michael, you point out that he only roleplays and repeats others, but you vote for me because I focus on a different scummy topic?
-
Well thank you for clarifying your stance on her, because up until now, you only defended her by saying she's a good daughter and wouldn't be scum. I don't "attack" the others who think she is town because they provided theirs reasons to believe that; why you only provided roleplay. Now that I actually now why you support her, it's easier to see why you previously waved support with no reasons for it. And yes, I need more drink!
-
I had posted the link to try and get at a possible reason for her extreme roleplaying, and that I naively thought it was out of her control. A bit later however she show that she did not have to speak as she does, and proved the theory wrong. I suggested her roleplaying was scummy because she never seems to make definitive statements. Sheridan is still on my list no doubt, and she won't be taken off until there's some night action clarification on her scapegoat. She is lower now however as Esther seems far more scummy, and Michaels support of Sheridan without reason is also odd. That's my exact problem with you--you are voting for me because I'm hourse dung. And is there anything you think backs up the claim? Even right now, you seem to be basing your vote entirely on roleplaying.
-
2) Yeah, that's why I was confused reading your reply to mine. 1) Anyways, I see the claim as a ruse (And Like Liz I too was messed up in a the same crazy frame/role situation, though I was the one framed). Obviously, it would be bad for a town person to say their claim publically, since then the scum would night kill them or try to lynch them. Esther should tell other people she trusts her claim, so that those people can back up her claim without having to place as much danger on her (Which is part of the reason I don't belive her since she should be more active and not waiting till it's too late in the face of a noose). On the more likely side, as I see it, she is just saying she's got a claim so shift votes, or she may also be just claiming a role, knowing it would be bad for the real person with the claim to dispute her (Since you know that would out the actual claim person). So basically, her claim seems just like something being used to save her, however she won't elaborate on the claim until it's basically too late. And at that point it's almost useless. Now Michael and Sheridan seem to be her supporters, so where are they? Can anyone verify that Esther has an actual claim to a PR?
-
I don't know where I want to place my vote on this one. I have two big scum suspects, first being Esther for all the recent talks and that "claim" thing is just not going over well with me; and my second being Michael Thompson, since I feel he's got something to hide for only roleplaying and supporting his family members without reasoning behind it. Michael also has said almost nothing this first day, and while others have also said little, his comments are very short and lack and actual substance other then roleplaying--most importantly they also lack the reasons for defending his wife and daughter, other then "their family & I love them". However, with all the things going on, and the claim which seems like it's just a ruse to switch votes, at this point my vote is going to have to go to: Vote: Esther Thompson (Esurient) On a related note, am I the only one who sees that this whole Thompson family has got something going on? Esther is high scum right now, Sheridan is a possible scapegoat, and Michael is...quiet?

Thanks for posting without the unclear fluff--it seems you can do that. Secondly I did read your post (to a reply if mine); that I replayed to. In regards to my comment you replied to, and saying "I'm twisting" your words--what am I twisting? I am stating the facts as I see them, chiefly that for the bast 4 or so pages you were very concerned with how people replied to your claim, and then suddenly wanted the talk about the claim to end. As for not relevantly answering your points? What are your points? You've not asked questions and hand only pointed fingers?
-
I am not twisting your words, I am trying to make sense of them. I have multiple reasons that I am suspicious if you (and I'm not the only one). Your claim is the most obvious one, as is your on/off need to see what people think/don't think of it. Your role playing to the extreme, and because of it, you seem to be unable to make definitive statements. Your post I just quoted shows this: at the end you say you think it's one thing or another thing, then you agree with the town (who as a whole do not seem to have a problem with me) then you finish with a something and a whatever. From what I've seen, you appear to think I'm scum because I'm not trusting your suspicious claim as much as others.
-
Well a framer would make an investigated town appear as a scum. But really in this instance, the scapegoat (who would be town but investigate as scum) would show up as scum whether framed or not. So framing really wouldn't do anything here. However this is all under the assumption she is a scapegoat.

Uhhh, its a fun hobby (More like Lifestyle!), but there are some things that make me cringe… 1) Searching for a specific vital piece for hours, and not finding it; then finding it a week or month later. I so much hate this one. 2) Destroying then re-sorting bricks. I love building things, and I’ve made so many mocs, but having to re-sort pieces is one of the most annoying/boring and time consuming tasks related to organized Lego (Hah, is it like a religion?). 3) Target’s Find in Store Button. I’ll explain: A while back when the Iron Man 3 sets just started coming out, I found the Malibu Mansion set at Toys R Us, and spend a little extra so I could be the first to review a new Superhero set. Worth it. Then I waited a week or so until the standard release of the rest of the sets, since I very much wanted the Extremis Boat one. I go to Target online multiple times, and one day it finally says they have it in-stock locally. I get in my car to go there, and after a minute of driving I get a flat tire. I fix the tire rather quickly (This is Lego and nothing slows me down!), and I get to Target. Surprise, Target online is always wrong and they didn’t have any of the sets. Angry at Target, and needing something out of this trip after having to change a tire, I drive across the street and am forced to pay extra for the same set at Toys R Us. Annoying Fail.

I do have to agree with this done statement here. I don't think we should throw out the possiblitiy of her lying about this simply because we see it as something "stupid" for a Coyote to do, I mean it might turn out to be a smart thing for a Coyote to do since we for the majority seem to believe her. But like my rival dancer said, we'll just have to use other methods to make sure she's acting with the town at heart. On the subjecto of Sheridan, in my drunken haze, done remember something from my old painful time during the War (Done when I lost be eye, me leg, and me balance), that sometimes some people could done be shocked (Er something from above) so much that they could only be speaking in certain ways. It's like a done "Restriction" on her words, and I don't know if it be 100% correct, for I ain't no doctor and you know, I'm drunk and whatnot, but I think it may be the reason I cannot understand her words all the time. 1) Well I am town, and I fought for this town, and I bled for this town! I'm sorry you think I beith evil, but I don't have much to say to that other then no, I am one of the Village. And while I know it's day one, and people don't know other people well, I also am no fan of people pickin names out of a hat and sayin their not good. Have I given reasons for people to not trust me? Other then me drinkin? 2) (As stated a bit above in this post) I think the bonus to a scum doing this trick would be; first, we would not be surprised to see scum come up with an investigation (Which it would happen even if she's scapegoat or an actual scum); second, that we as a town would believe her claim as a scapegoat (Which seems to be going that way), she would then be closer to the town and not be suspection. True her truthfulness is not as strong, but the scum getting even some inside person is helpful to them. 3) Like Kane, I see her speakin as more of an overall problem, makin her seem more suspicous then others since she already made a claim and may have more to hide. But I know thing it's something more then just roleplaying as I stated earlier in this post conversation.

Approaching the Elves of the Northwest Mountains
Captain Nemo replied to Str0ngbad's topic in Guilds of Historica
Very nice use of colors! And the new LotR Elves! -
Wait! Wait--Just wait one minute...I spilled my drink... Why do you think we should cast our nets elsewhere? Just because she made a claim in her first comment about the hangings? And yer sorry? I know she may be yer daughter, but you seem to be, along with your husband, keeping a close kit family--and it may be a family, but is there another closer relationship goin' on here?
-
I don't not really trust her claim, but there's not really not good reason not to with the logic used by other townsmen. I do know, even in me drunky state, that she regardless seem less trustful then others, simply because of all the suspicious nature behind her words, which seem very hard to make out some times; like you know. Wait a second, that was too logical of a comment! I need more booze quickly!

Guilds of Historica Character Location and Facts
Captain Nemo replied to Kai NRG's topic in Guilds of Historica
I think if people leave for a certain amount of time we just assume they died. -
Hey! People like my dancing--and they like it because it's free! Ain't nobody want to pay you a quater to watch a dance! Even in my wasted state I can get your point. But I'm also not drunk enough to thinks of other reasons for it. A scum who makes a claim like this so early is not riskin the other scum, only herself, since we ain't got no leads to 'em! She's riskin 'er life, but she could be sneakin by to make a fool of us. Maybe she is a Coyote making this claim so we'll not be alarmed of her alliegence. If we trust her, then we could done have a Coyote sneakin into our town maters. I think when it comes to murder, a Coyote is alrealy use to taking risks!
-
I...I think even if I wasn't drunk I still wouldn't understand yer words... Anywho! This is a bad problem we've got here, and I don't think it'll get better unless we all take a couple of gulps and work this out after our hangovers. I think, you know, that as a town the hangings is a bad thing, but we need to find dem Coyotes (Or is it Coyoties?). Anywho, you all know I'm one with the town, and I think my lack of depth-perception and primary foot rule me out as the head-chopper-off-er. Well if you need me I'll be in the bar er whatever I normally do...can't remember that to well.

Next CUUSOO set: 21103 Back to the Future™ Time Machine
Captain Nemo replied to Blakstone's topic in LEGO Licensed
I was not happy when I first saw the pictures of this--because you know the hood is terrible. However the minifigures do bump up the overall rating, so I may pick this up as my first Cuusoo set. Maybe. -
Well, you do have to remember what style Lego had at the time. It was the first Harry Potter wave, and they still had yellow color for Licenced figures. Your version looks more accurate, but I think Lego was going with the style they had, as well as wanting to show off the rare purple color (Which was basically a new color on minifigures).

Silver City Mafia - Confirmation and Discussion
Captain Nemo replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hello everybody! Now I know I can't not see too well, on account of my beard getting in my eye often much, but I can see we need to clear this village of those evil Red Coyote boys! So lets get to it...though maybe one quick drink first...
