  1. She may actually get another head too-- one photo shows a head with no glasses whatsoever. Strange. I do think it's a bit weird that only two of the Ghostbusters have molded boots. Either way, I absolutely love this set.
  2. Totally fake. We will not be discussing that further. Thank you!
  3. First time using Bricks & Pieces; rather hit or miss service I'd say. Although I wish could have jumped the gun right before the January shutdown (as there were tons of more pieces) there were a few good things. Mostly I just picked up rare minifig hair pieces from expensive sets. I wasn't able to complete any minifigures I wanted (I got close with Helicarrier Fury)--I was hoping to get Beast Boy and Starfire since I really disliked the set they came in, but oh well. They're honestly not crazy expensive on the aftermarket surprisingly. Still however, overall, Bricks & Pieces a heck of a lot better than the crap-shoot that is online Pick-A-Brick!
  4. I agree with this--although thinking about it now, clearly Lego went with the inferior olive green because it was/is already in production for Hulk.
  5. They look better overall up close. Still iffy on Killer Moth's non-game design. I just hope it's a scenario where like the orange and purple Two-Face, I hate it in pictures, but love in person. Did they reuse General Hux's face for Captain Boomerang? Hope not...that would be lazy.
  6. That rumor is always floating around and there's never proof of it. No need to discuss hypothetical waves when we can talk about Dr Who Lego in the here and now.
  7. Ok Juniors set. It does seem redundant considering half of it is basically a rebuild of the Juniors Batcave (but then they used light blue bricks, so it wouldn't match ), however the Lex vehicle is great. Not too sold on Lex's new design (which is entirely the selling point of the set)--I like the lime green armor, but I hate the use of Wayne's head and what appears to be a strange torso print. I was expecting them to use the amazing Super Friends costume but even with what little is shown, it's clearly not that design; which is disappointing.
  8. Green Goblin is in the colors of regular green and magenta, judging by the pictures. After building so many Sentinels, I know every shade of Lego purple! Compared to the DC wave, I think this one is great (although still overhyped a bit). I'm loving all the figure designs, especially the surprise new Doc Ock and Hobgoblin. I actually think Ghostrider is the best set, then Ock, and then Bridge--the bridge design is the weakest I think. Also what's up with Captain Stacy? Who wanted that character?!
  9. Eeeeehhhhh... Really disappointed in these...Brickset hypes way too much I think. The bat-vehicles are great, but I honestly could care less about getting more Batman-things. The other builds are largely terrible. Croc's water thing is more unforgivable than that baseplate Lego calls a Batcave wall. Killer Croc looks nothing like his great amazing game design, rather an ugly olive Bigfig more akin to Abomination than the reptile foe we wanted. Thank god I have the original. Most of all I'm disappointed in Killer Moth; I hate the helmet. Comic accuracy be damned; the TT Lego design would have looked better. It would not look like an action figure head was chopped off and used. So upset because we won't get another Killer Moth for a very long long time. Devastated!
  10. Not particularly. The majority of the time, they don't know more than we do. And the ones in the know are not going to say anything!
  11. Enough talk on Scarface. There's no indication, aside from that one comment however many pages back, that we would be getting him. Everything points to no thus far. Considering the accuracy of Brickset's descriptions, they didn't miss him; he was never there. Two-Face never showed up either. And I doubt we'll see Ra's either. Please keep discussion in this thread focused on sets and trustworthy rumors only, not speculation.
  12. Looks alright. May have been hyped a little too much, but overall good. Interesting tidbits too, like new molds on Kraven (for his back/neck fur piece) and Goblin (duel molded/printed legs) with his pumpkin bomb, which no doubt uses the same new hairpiece for Ghost rider. New web piece is...interesting...
  13. No no no! We are not opening that can--absolutely no discussion on that figure; there's more than enough confirmed sets to talk about for now. Thanks!
  14. Guys please stop counting down the minutes until 'nothing yet'. Patience is a virtue; we'll find out more about the sets soon enough.
  15. Everyone please stop listing off names of characters you want or think/wish will be in future sets. That all should be done in the DC Wishlist thread. Incidentally, for the record, one should take comments from Lego Store employees with a grain of salt. More often than not they really are not in the loop.
  16. As this set is part of the Disney Princess Wave, it can already be discussed in the Disney Princess 2016 thread. It doesn't require its own thread.
  17. Joker's Steamroller is a good set if you buy it on deep discount only. Lately I've seen it at various targets for $20, and even then I think it's a bit much! Granted I got my for free from a contest, but still. Like the Milano, Lego must have way over produced it, since it's still everywhere. Although unlike the Milano, it's just a terrible set. On the other DC sets, for starting a collection now, I would suggest Gorilla Grodd/Bananas the most. It's really not a Batman set per say, but it includes some of the best DC figures, the best DC Bigfig, and a sweet invisible jet. The Bat-Mech is a total throwaway but the Banana cart makes up for it. I'd also suggest the Green Lantern set, which is spectacular. Really I'd suggest passing on the Sandman set. It's a $40 set for minifigures only. The build is a complete throwaway and it's very incomplete. I only got it because I kinda have to and I like the Rhino design--which many people either love or hate. Carnage is a way better set, plus it's only $12.
  18. The minifigure designs from Lego Batman 3 are actually more accurate to the show than the physical designs we have now. I couldn't place it before, but after seeing some comments on Brickset, it's the eyes that are off on Batman, Robin, and Riddler. That being they are white shapes instead of visible eyes. Edit: Well, no, actually they got it right for Catwoman, so what the hell Lego.
  19. Along with Catwoman, Joker and Riddler have duel sided faces. You have to look in the large pictures to see them however.
  20. Not happy about the blatant reuse of Penguin again! Really that hard to give us a new print? And its the worst one too! I actually think I like the cave more and the minifigures less after seeing the pictures and the video. Not sure if it's the lighting or whatnot, but a lot of the colors on the figures seem off. Exposure is way wack, what is Joker neon-colored? The vehicles are great though, especially the Bat-copter (didn't expect the window printing). The printed wallpaper is really interesting--I hope that appears in more sets with different colors; it's a really cool feature.
  21. That's enough talk about Scarface... Until we get some actual confirmation, take it over to the wishlist thread please. Too quickly people confuse name drops to mean fact--and then we get pages of way off topic conversations about who is more popular (Duh, Scarface > Calendar Man, we need to debate that? ), or what non-confirmed set which non-confirmed character will (not!) be appearing in. To reiterate the limits of this thread: DO NOT post lists of characters you hope to see, or wished set "ideas", and exclude conversations that clearly do not belong here--such as comparing the popularity of characters. Thanks!
  22. Oooof! Cloney you break a my heart! Overpriced in my opinion. Especially for a set that's not polished looking in comparison to other D2C sets. Kind of feels like it's half built!
