Interesting thread. I love Lego Dragons (and extended molded/brick monsters), so this is great to see--surprisingly it's hard to find comparison sizes. Although...if Wardancer could get around to posting that wide shot of all three dragons together, that would be great too! *hint* *hint* I'm looking into getting some old dragons to go with my Smaug (aside from the Classic ones I have: a black one and the golden Adventurers one). The Fantasy and HorntaiI are spectacular ones, and largely unique compared to the common red/black dragons. Most of all, I love the armor on the Fantasy one. I was recently thinking about buying a Horntail at a Lego convention last week, but it was rather expensive ($100)--so I settled with a Basilisk. Although I don't think it could take down my Smaug or Indominus! I'm iffy on the offical brick built ones, most often they're just bad. I do somewhat like the serpent style of the Viking ones (specially the head molds), but I'm iffy on all the Technic. On custom ones however, the ones by Reeardoo are simply amazing--honestly some of the coolest ones I've seen! I'll have to see how build-able that is with current parts available.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 15 Rumors and Discussion
Captain Nemo replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Oooo! I missed so much! The Faun headpiece is just amazing! I want an army-size-worth and to immediately start building Narnia! So cool; now I just hope we get some new leg molds too. The shark dude is just spectacular, as is the queen. This wave is shaping up to be a very good one. -
DC Superheroes 2016 - Rumors and Discussion

Seems fake to me. It's just a photo-edited version of his other Batman image (that does use an official figure). That being said, I think it's a good indication of what the figure will look like officially. I just hope we don't end up with a Batman whose skin looks like an orange!- 8,446 replies

Great review! I own this set, and I gave it an above-average vote. It's very good overall--all the figure variants are excellent. Most of all, Smaug is utterly amazing; and let's be honest, he is arguably the entire reason for getting this set. He truly is the greatest Lego dragon, both in size and pose ability. I do like the set for what it is. The only reason I knock this set down a bit is for the general feeling that it is missing something. I think it's rather strange that the conveyor belt just ends--the set is begging for a third section (most likely the mountain gates). I wouldn't have minded if the set was listed at $200 instead, just to include a more complete build. Still, the parts alone are worth the current design, as the amount of sand green, like Smaug, is tremendous. This is for sure a set I'm happy I didn't pass up.

Everyone, please do not quote pictures. It's my absolute biggest pet peeve. I don't have a problem with the discussion on the interior designs, utilizing photographs--but quoting pictures to comment on them with one line only adds unnecessary clutter, length, and repetition to the thread. Especially when one only has to scroll up to see the image being quoted. Thank you! -

Far more impressed with the High-Res images, and of course all the sweet ghost minifigures. Really iffy on the affordability of this, but I think it's looking good so far. The interior will be very important however. I do feel the exterior is fairly boring to begin with (which is why I question the need for so many tiny bricks that amount to a plain design; something that easily could be accomplished with bigger bricks anyways), but it may be worth it if the interior is amazing. -

I think I'm going to wait for the high-res images to get a better impression. I don't think these photos are doing wonders for the set reveal... -

Toys R Us does not list rumored products on the website. No large seller does that. All this is, is the common instance where Lego has told Toys R Us what toys will be coming out in the next year so they can work out deals, and someone at Toys R Us slipped up and added the product description online when they were not supposed to. Happens all the time--at least with Lego products. -

No. There are no confirmed rumors about what's coming up after the first few waves of dimensions sets (which we already know about). Not sure where the idea that Raven would show up in one came from in the first place anyways.- 8,446 replies

Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
Captain Nemo replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
Captain America is just standard Blue, as he was in the Hydra Comic set. Personally, I think both CA and Iron Skull look pretty lackluster. I'm getting less interested in that Hydra Sub set; and I'd for sure pass on it if it wasn't for the new Iron Man...may I'll just Bricklink him. -
This forum however is for Lego Dr. Who discussion--not debating the opinions on the viability of Dr. Who; or it's popularity (or lack thereof) in relation to other themes. Finally...it's absolutely ridiculous to suggest Dr. Who is more popular than DC and Marvel combined globally. Just saying. Off-Topic Talk Exterminated! Continue focus on set discussion please!

Good to know the Harley set features rubber tires. Really worried Lego was going to be cheap and just give us the rims...it's a very important feature you know, and Lego is always leaving them off their cars...- 8,446 replies

Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
Captain Nemo replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
Let's not jump to conclusions with these new highly unconfirmed rumors. I wouldn't be surprised if they stayed that way too...none of those seem likely at all to become sets. -
Ooooo! This is so nice. I'm really going to have to consider buying it. One of these building has to end up being my first Modular someday--an I hope it's this one. I'll also have to snag DO then...so he can solve to crimes! The Camerawoman is the theif--shocking twist!

Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
Captain Nemo replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
Underwater Iron Man looks great--really surprised at the success of that variant. I've really had enough "variants" of him in the past--because they all basically look the same. This version however is just spectacular. On the other hand, the submarine is horrendous. It's like an undersea pimpmobile. Why the giant windows? Come on Red Skull--you should know that'll be your downfall! -

Build is rather nice--I expected a lot less considering the price. The parts used are very good too. Batman however just looks wrong. He doesn't look anything like the movie version. Total fail on that one.- 8,446 replies

Did you participate in the Star Wars v Marvel contest a while back? I did, and a similar tag just showed up on my profile too--who knows. Tags are always a happy surprise!

There's lots a nice parts in these sets, although I'm not really a fan of the premise on the whole. I think the villains are interesting, but the heroes are too much space and not enough castle for me. This theme is a weird in-between that I don't think works. Really, I'll just be in this for the Jester figure, the cool neon parts, and that sweet necronomicon-like book (I'm happy Lego has finally designed a new book style). On the plus side LotR finally got their Bolrog!

Are the Daleks gold? They look gold--from the high-res images I thought they were dark tan for some reason. Slightly like them more now... Both the Daleks and Angel look better in this photo actually. And now it looks like it might be possible to easily mod the Daleks to get a complete black band at the bottom.

I'm very happy with the finished product--and it's a for sure buy on day one. Hopefully I'll be able to find some at my local Toys R Us around December. I think the build is utterly spectacular, and I even get the hint of modular. It would be really cool to see more Tardis interiors being built, all with the same general size/layout to connect to the door. I think the figures are rather good. I'm not disappointed (as some are) in the 12th's appearance--I was planning on getting the Dimensions level anyways, so it's just a nice variant (but yes, Dimensions Dr. Who does look better). Clara looks perfect, as does the 11th. I'm torn on the Weeping Angel--I think the torso dress is good, but I'm not a fan of her evil face; to me it reads more sinister than monster (I think it's the eyebrows). And I just hate the wings. Lego seriously needs to invest in a new solid wing set piece. I has so many uses. And I'm not a fan of the Daleks. I don't like their design as much as the Dimensions on. I think they're a bit too tall, but most of all I really dislike how the solid black band was not (somehow) carried full circle around. I think the gap looks really weird. Seriously good set though (very satisfying for fans). I hope this turns into a full fledged theme, even if the release is irregular like Simpsons or Ghostbusters.

Lego make a mistake in 5004590 Batpod
Captain Nemo replied to Gerechtigkeitsliga's topic in LEGO Licensed
You are correct. Although you'd also be hard pressed to find a licensed Lego set that doesn't have at least one color inaccuracy somewhere. It's a frequent occurrence. With that, I'll go ahead and close this topic.
