  1. You kid but when we get the Supergirl buildable figure for seventy quid won't you look silly
  2. That's so funny, maybe he'll be able to get one next time
  3. Nice, always love seeing the different ways people interpret Classic Space design language with modern sensibilities. This one is super distinctive.
  4. Probably just the person taking the photo using the Bruce head by mistake
  5. Oh, right, we've reached the point where we're attracted to minifigures now then? I suppose we always have further to fall Not even the first time cat hair has been printed, not sure of the issue though.
  6. So there's a LEGO Mario Party clone coming out, I imagine you can tell what part of this screenshot caught my eye
  7. I see that but it's kinda irrelevant in this set up right? It's a death battle the men will instantly charge him, given the numbers I don't know if he gets out full a sentence before his being throttled. Even if he could what's he got to work off? He's got no power in the situation and I imagine in a death battle scenario they don't leave until the other sides dead right? There's nothing to play off unless the men are all stupid. I think Mr Jokes gets twatted no matter what.
  8. I feel like saying the Jokers can get them on their side in a death battle scenario is a cop out
  9. Luck of the draw really, you keep looking in places like here and quickly put in an order once you see it.
  10. That's hilarious, the only Batmobile they've done that with as of late
  11. Shit, they don't? Didn't even notice. Why'd they get rid of them?
  12. I have a family member who loves this film, they're super nostalgic over it. They totally were into the idea of this set when I described the original rumours of it, they saw this and couldn't care less. Literally the prime audience but they're not gonna spend a hundred quid on a set without even the Riddler
  13. To be fair the subway train is exactly that
  14. It's not an actual issue but it's funny how there's a super common hairpiece that looks exactly like Tobey's hair that LEGO just never wants to use on him for whatever reason
  15. Is this the first time that a DC "wave" has enticed no-one here to bite? From the looks of it literally none of us are interested. Even those interested in the concept and appreciate the build are turned off by the price, lack of villains and scale. Might be a complete wash among the users here
  16. I don't know, I think it's a pretty uninspired set. I think it's real number one flaw is how uninspired the base concept is, we don't need another Spider-man 2 train, the budget should have gone to a more original idea. Like a hulkbuster or an endgame final battle, those would be a shot in the arm for the theme.
  17. The civilian is dressed almost exactly like Shrek
  18. This is definitely a strong Creator wave, shame about some of the prices though. Yeah, I think most people agree with you there but it's undeniably exciting what this seeming uptick in budget can mean for the theme and allow Creator to do more high concept ideas that are less likely for LEGO to portray without minifigures. They wouldn't do a haunted house without minifigs so a lot of doors are opened by this
  19. That's not making the point you think it is
  20. Really like this, super inventive build, the shaping is really slick. Great reimagining of the original
  21. Yeah, right? I'm sure he would at least sell. That'll happen eventually I think. I think the white, gold and the blue one probably would too though wouldn't be the first options.
  22. I think the prequel backlash was worse in intensity, the "George Lucas raped my childhood" stuff dominated the internet for like 15 years with no opposing voices, while actors for the sequels were harassed it seemingly wasn't to the extent of Ahmed Best and Jake Lloyd and every sequel actor appears to had a decent career trajectory while actors like Hayden who's big break were the prequels careers mostly stalled. And of course all the harassment was allegedly a part of why Lucas eventually gave up the franchise. Now there are two things that makes the sequel backlash different and arguably worse. The former is unlike the prequels which came out earlier in the internet so it's hate is more "sincere" if that's the right word. people hate the sequels genuinely too of course but there wasn't this online industry where people make careers over crying about wokeness and such so, while I think the tangible effects of the prequel backlash was more intense, the online echo chamber for it wasn't wrapped in political and "culture war" squabbles so they were less of a minefield in a way. Like people who would rant about the prequels just talked about the movies and not their views for on feminism so it was less likely to become quite as charged. The latter is the effect, people hated the prequels but that brought out an emotional response but most casual fans are apathetic to the sequels, no matter the response to the prequels the merch sold well after the films with LEGO for example remaining prequel centered in the years between episode 3 and the Clone Wars and after, the sequels seemingly can't manage this as well, hence the lack of sequel sets. I forget Star Wars fans are excited for a Shaun Levy movie, good luck
