LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Renny The Spaceman replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Haha, of course it's not exclusively kids into them, but it seems they they're the main niche kids gravitate too -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Renny The Spaceman replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
True, but I think rule one though is multiple costume figs will be in every non-licenced series, that's seemingly the most popular CMF niche with kids, LEGO loves them and they've not only never sat out an original CMF lineup for about a decade but I think there's at least 2 for every series for the longest time -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

I wouldn't count on it, we've had 2 Costume CMFs before and the next and previous still had 3. Series 25 was also absent of Space figures so if it was gonna be the same 27 wouldn't have a costume character -

Sadly all themes must sooner or later be assimilated by the black boxes, no whimsy is allowed -
DC Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion

He did say parody tbf, I don't really see the link between the two characters though. Sorta feels like giving Spider-man a parody of the Superman tornado scene or something -
LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Renny The Spaceman replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I don't even think it's that, I think they just don't want to rerelease colours if they can help it anymore, they haven't done black in this era, Yellow and Red were only in one set each both before the era of parting these figures out was normalised, even when they did put White and Orange in sets last year they refused to give them the right heads or air tanks. LEGO wants these figures to be more collectible clearly because that makes them more money. If they put Blue in a set the insane completionist collector won't buy it because they already have blue, if they do a slightly different shade of blue they will. -

It does, yeah. It is rare though. I imagine it'll just be grey parts made and a reused space figure luckily -

Oh, when? That'd be interesting to see how many parts at most are recoloured in a GWP. I think it might just be the light grey parts with a reused Spacefig. Could be wishful thinking on my part -

Yeah, I don't like this either, I'd rather they just make the colours we have readily available rather than have 73 sllightly different shades of blue Space fig but this is gonna be a GWP, it will also be a pretty limited release. Has a GWP ever had exclusive recolours though, we might be in luck and they make one of the 2 shades of blue (Teal, Dark Blue) with the pieces all currently in production more readily available with this akin to what they did with orange -

Have they ever done a recolour in a GWP? I just want them to reuse teal or something, slow down with these new colours -

I think the actual rumour is it's once again just half a spaceman in the 500 quid fish tank. Wouldn't expect LEGO to do anything as "kind" as putting any Classic Space figure or any part of one in anything that's either not limited or cheaper than 120 quid. -

Haha, the oldest joke in the universe. True, I guess it's weirder to me because I remember the figure being like 8-10 quid for ages there. Also outside of bricklink it usually goes in the 30 plus range around here. Definitely is one of the most spot on Minifig faces, to the point I think it's very hard to think of another Minifigure LEGO made that could have reused this face. I'd buy that, betting big behind one of the most expensive films ever made, we'll see how that turns out for LEGO, they've got a much better chance coming out of this well. well don't worry, for only about a tenner more than the regular figure you can get this freaky looking 9 Inch one off Ebay e -

He does already have a figure TBF, Morbius has an opponent. Though ridiculously expensive last I checked. -

There's also Matt Smith and Ryan Gosling in that film, this might lead to us getting figures of Charles Manson and literally me sigma male edits to reuse the faces -

In the full clip it seems like it's gonna be a joke about the bat credit cardI think, he emphasises there's a reference and a card. Hope the no comment for Polka-dot Man means he will appear, my favourite loser villain -

Yeah, I've long said the same more broadly with the theme, DCEU sets tanked so bad it'll be super long before they touch it even with a collectable Batmobile Yeah, he goes bowling with me and the Dummy on Sundays, great guy, doesn't play much though, just sorta slinks in a corner talking about cheating on his wife and his "Rat-Bastard" son, big fan of Superworm though for what it's worth, always brings the foam sprayer. Like I get them wanting to use a female character instead of like Nightwing but Cass is RIGHT THERE He also can just be consensually his son, the original story has that, the rape was an accidental retcon by Morrison because they misremembered the original story as having that element when it didn't The game I think came from WB wanting it rather than LEGO pushing for it, think it entered development with their push for putting their prime IPs in games to salvage WB games. -

I thought the exact same reading it, Batman's Bat Claw kinda seems like how Turtle would describe something ngl. Talia I imagine is only there because of TDK trilogy beats requiring her, you can't really have Gordon or Catwoman be with Bruce in the training level. The fact Nightwing and Batgirl are here does make them not being included over Batwoman in Arkham funnier. That foam sprayer really is a beacon of hope for the people of Gotham, originally the Batsignal was actually of the foam sprayer but James was modest enough to let the bat take it to get his name out there
