  1. Old Man Logan is absolutely fantastic. Well worth picking up.
  2. I'm guessing the Sandcrawler will be the D2C set that is revealed at Bricks Cascade on March 8-9, and for sale on May 4th. ;-)
  3. I think it's pretty likely that that is what we'll see; it just makes a lot of sense to me. Lego will want to include minifigures other than Jawas and droids, so I'd say we'll probably get Luke, Owen, and Beru (maybe even a few Tusken Raiders if Lego is feeling extra generous). And for a $300 set, Lego could definitely throw in the iconic domed structure from the homestead with a small interior play area. It's probably our best chance at getting anything from the Lars homestead (as well as the Beru minifig), since it wouldn't be an obvious choice as a standalone set.
  4. Perhaps the Sandcrawler will include parts of the Lars homestead as well. That would make me extremely excited!!
  5. It's highly unlikely that this would have any bearing whatsoever on the LOTR license continuing. The general populace doesn't know (and likely doesn't care) about such an event, and Lego most likely wouldn't use that for marketing a children's toy.
  6. Couldn't agree more! Although I didn't buy 75014 just for General Rieekan, it's extremely disappointing to see Lego revisiting sets the very next year.
  7. It's most likely a set for the TMNT film; I don't recognize what it might be though (other than the obvious answer of a truck).
  8. Whoah!!! Shredder's Lair?!? Now that's a set that came out of nowhere!
  9. Wow! Overall the sets look absolutely fantastic. Still disappointed at the lack of certain mini figures in the Cantina, but the set itself is gorgeous, and I'll be buying two. Anyone else notice that the mini holographic Emperor Palpatine in the Star Destroyer is a completely new mold?! I definitely wasn't expecting them to go above and beyond like that.
  10. Oh my....!!!! This looks absolutely incredible, and is definitely a Day 1 purchase for me! Huge shame that there is no Slimer included, though.
  11. Supposedly he's based on Ralph McQuarrie's original sketches for Chewbacca: http://rebelsreport.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/chewoldlarge.jpg
  12. According to a Star Wars collecting podcast that I listened to yesterday, all Star Wars merchandise later this year will feature the Rebels stormtrooper, and if the product itself isn't from Rebels it simply won't feature the show's logo. (But I suppose we'll find out for sure soon enough!)
  13. This looks absolutely incredible!! I can't wait to see the others this weekend (Groot and Rocket! Woot!!).
  14. YESSSSSSSS!!!! I would say "It's about time, Lucasfilm", but I'm just too excited to speak any ill. Bring on March 7th!
  15. Excellent writeup!! I think you nailed it in terms of what message the film was trying to get across.
  16. ^ Nope! It's a shame to see the license pass to MegaBloks, though.
  17. Seems like a cool character to me!! Can't wait to see the rest of the Ghost crew.
  18. Wow, neat minifig! I may just have to seriously consider preordering the game .
  19. I'd be just fine with Lego producing the Royal Starship in pearl silver. It's a set that really needs to be made.
  20. Lego will not be producing Jurassic Park sets regardless. It's been known for quite a while now that Hasbro has the license to create construction sets for the franchise under their Kreo banner.
  21. I actually completely agree with this. Time has (hopefully) softened the hatred toward TPM a bit; it's not up to par with the OT, of course, but still an enjoyable film. My favorite: A New Hope Least Favorite: Attack of the Clones
  22. Another major character reveal for Rebels!! http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/tv/2014/02/11/freddie-prinze-jr-star-wars-rebels-first-look/4802651/
  23. Haha!! You'll find this post ironic after hearing a certain Vitruvius line in the film.
  24. ^ If I remember correctly.
