    In my opinion, there are only 4 main OT locations that have yet to be created/updated by Lego: Lars Homestead Dagobah Cloud City Hoth Shield Generator If Lego manages to do even 3 out of the 4 by the time all is said and done , I'll be a happy man.

    He was also blurred out in some of the trailers and TV spots, I believe. Perhaps that's why.

    Wow. Pretty ballsy if neither studio shifts that release date; I'll be seeing Cap 3 first, but I'm sure the contest for 1st at the box office will be heated.

    What a fantastic idea!! There's just something about vehicles in this scale that I love, and you've done these perfectly.

    It's a huge shame that there's no Beru minifigure. I suppose we can hope for a Lars homestead set to be released eventually, but I have my doubts seeing as this set already features nearly all of the minifigs that that set would. Seemed like such a natural opportunity to include a never-before-made minifigure. Still a Day 1 buy for me, but I'm just a tad annoyed by that oversight.

    Again, not sure where you're getting this information. These projects have long been rumored, sure, but are not greenlit at this point.

    Bricks Cascade is the 8-9. So it will most likely be revealed on Saturday.

    Target stores in my state have been clearancing out Desolation of Smaug sets; I've never seen such new sets being clearances before. I'm really starting to get concerned for the future of the Middle-earth sets. :-(

    I'm not sure where you're getting the idea that all of the DC shows will "merge" with the current film projects, as all signs point to no on that. There definitely hasn't been any official confirmation in that regard; in fact, that seems to be DC's weak point right now. They just can't seem to unite all of their projects in the way Marvel has.

    I never said it was a deal breaker for me. Don't get me wrong, I'm ecstatic that we're getting another Sandcrawler (I missed out on the first one), but like Strangely said - it would be the perfect set to include Beru. Especially because she's never had a minifigure. Also, I seem to remember her and Owen's death being the catalyst that leads Luke to join the Rebellion, become a Jedi, and topple the Empire. But you're right....a pretty insignificant character. :-P

    Well, that's a bit disappointing. That lessens the chances of getting an Aunt Beru minifigure.

    October is probably when it will be sold at retailers other than Lego. Which makes sense if it's released on May 4th.

    ^ The problem with that definition (although I'm in agreement with it for the most part) is that sets like the Super Star Destroyer blur the lines a bit. It has elements of UCS (huge display model) and System sets (minifigures, bridge play area).

    ^ I have to agree, for the most part. I can't see Lego simply re-releasing 10179 over again, but if a different version of the Falcon was released (with an interior!) I'd be all over it.

    Hm....that close to May 4th, but not released on May 4th. I'm calling BS on this one. That said, what are the chances that the set revealed at Bricks Cascade on March 8-9 will be the Sandcrawler? I'm thinking it's the most likely candidate.

    A few thoughts: - You're right that a Ninjago movie wouldn't attract the same audience; if anything, it would attract a far narrower one. It's a play theme that has wide appeal among young boys, but most people have no connection to it whatsoever. It would be a tall order to successfully market the film to match the mainstream success The Lego Movie has had. - I'm not sure where you're getting the info that Lord and Miller are directing the Ninjago movie, much less who the cast members are. The film itself has barely broken beyond the rumor stage at this point, and with The Lego Movie's sequel officially announced, it's doubtful that the Ninjago movie is coming anymore (if indeed it ever was).

    Do you mean Ezra? I'm not sure why that would be relevant, unless Lucasfilm decides they need to carry him forward that far. We don't even know how far into the future Episode VII will be, but based on what we do know... His video says he's 14 years old, and Rebels takes place 5 years before ANH, making him: 19 (ANH) 22 (ESB) 23 (ROTJ) ??? (Episode VII) Coincidentally, his character is the exact same age as Luke Skywalker is throughout the OT films.

    If there aren't any Tuskens included in such a large D2C Tatooine-related set, it'll be a bit of a disappointment. Sand People are fairly iconic Star Wars characters, yet the last (and only!) time we got them was over 12 years ago!

    Are you referring to box office take? In that case, there's no way a Ninjago movie would perform better. The LEGO Movie has an insane amount of brand recognition and nostalgia driving theater goers; narrow that down to a specific, modern play theme and you lose a significant portion of that audience.

    Hm....that's not what I've heard. As far as I know, the series will premier with a "movie" (probably meaning a double-length episode) on Disney Channel in late summer/early autumn, with the series itself showing on Disney XD in autumn. This is the first I've heard any mention of spring.

    Yep, most of the major movie news sites are now reporting it as well. Can't wait!!
