Happy Birthday fellas, have a great one *y* -
Happy Birthday Hinckley dude! I love you ... No wait, that's somebody else, scratch that last part :-D X-D

Wait, chew as in trying to get them to let go of each other? Or actually chewing as in bubblegum chewing? You make me and everybody else look normal sir, I applaud to you *y* *y* Ooh, I have another one, I'm 16, yet from time to time can't help but play with LEGO in my bed, :-P Yes I'm an eleventh grader! I leave my bed in such a condition of course, When I play with LEGO I of course do all the sound effects myself, from explosions to water dripping, not that I care if I'm any good at it. And whenever I'm feeling like it's time to wrap up playing time, I end up destroying my MOC in some kind of fiery explosion or disaster. That way I get to have the fun of demoloshing and building at the same time *y* And once I start on a building set, I'm deadset at finishing the model the same day. No matter what time I begin, even if it's eleven o' clock (PM) and it'll take a good hour or two, I need to finish it in one go. Never will I go to bed before a model is finished. Perhaps we ought to make another topic on our everyday quirks. I'd love to see what kind of wackos we have around here. (I would be one myself, I admit it)

Looking nice, very nice indeed *y* I love the way you build ships though honestly, I seriously dislike the massive amounts of black. Such an ugly colour for a ship to be completely painted like that. Other than that, :'-)

The person above me is engaged in an evil plot to overthrow the EB community by confusing everybody with his demonic, diabolical, enfuriating, yet assuring speeches.
-
The person above me has worked out a carefully executed scheme by which he was able to confuse the person above as well as the person below him as they are one and the same guy. Me :-P
-
The person above me has confused me so much, by saying something which was supposed to shed some clarity, that now I can't follow anymore. *wacko*

I'll try and participate in this contest (which would make this my first contest as well as my first MOC entry) though I seriously don't know where to find the time. I have several very big tasks for school over the course of the next couple of weeks and months + around five books to read, this wouldn't be such a problem if I got to choose them yet sadly, that won't work :'-( I really hope I'll find the time :-)

I just came up with something Wouldn't it've been better if Bush, back in March 2003, proposed to Saddam to duke it out in a LEGO whacking contest? Would've saved a lot of lives and would've most definitely provided the world with some very funny pictures *sad*

What was the last movie you watched?
Opproperaar replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Went to see BenX for with the class for cultural science last Friday and by god, I don't know what to say. Neither positive nor negative, they kinda cancel each other out ;-) A Flemish (yes you don't get those that often) movie which won three awards at the 31st Montreal World Film Festival: the Grand Prix des Am -
I won't get in a discussion, no matter what side you're on, you always run into people you can get in a fight with. :-P Which'd be a damn shame on a forum like this. It's certainly original of you to pick it as a topic. *y*

Damn you mr. Mandalorian. I've been meaning to go to Alaska all my life now. I will always be profoundly jealous of you now. :-P My favourite pic of all, I took it myself *wub* in the early morning hours on a misty day in San Francisco. My favourite colour is green, I love fog and I just love that city *wub* You can imagine how I adore that photo. Beverly Hills, one way in, no way out. I don't think I need to tell you where that one was taken. :-P Nor that one. San Francisco really is such a lovely place. *wub* *wub*

The person above me is imagining Sam Fisher slitting someone's or something's throat. And of course the person above, above, above, above, above, above, above, below...? he, no wait still above, above, above, above, etc. 'till we reach page 53 bottom. Hello Galewind *skull* Too thinking blooming much I to do seem huh? Well, Show you I know my grammar, I can. Wait? Why am I talking like this? :-$ Do remember, nobody likes hairy food *n* On it bring says I :-P

I didn't mean it like that, I gave the people wo ordered a kids meal three thumbs down, not EB, sorry my fault. I also of course give TLC a thumb or dozen down for this crap. *n* *n* *n* *n* *n* *n* *n* *n* *n* *n* *n* *n*
-
You know, after seeing grown men actually visiting Quick fastfood joints to buy a kids meal just for the darn LEGO, I wouldn't de shocked if some people here would actually say they loved this crap. *sad* If you can go to the Quick and buy a kids meal as someonewho's over 30 years old, defend your actions and not lose some dignity, I guess you moght as well defend this crap Seriously EB *n* *n* *n*

Personally, I'm a bit disappointed. Not by the review which is quite excellent, mind you, but by the model itself. I have this book at home Star Wars episode, incredible cross sections and the first vehicle they describe is the Rupublic Cruiser. When you go by what's in the book the model could've been so much better. That one escape pod which you can fit two people in is actually a conference room with room to seat 16 people! The ship has elevators, crew bunks etc. The model could've instead been a nice collecter model like the big falcon or those TIE fighters/bombers. Of course that's just my opinion being the nerdy Star Wars fan I am :-P

Don't worry, you're not spamming, at least not in my opinion. I thought I was the only one to suddenly get a yellow colour. I thought it was my PC but it has been like this for the last couple of hours now. So indeed, what's up with that? :-/

I agree, I like Saint-Nicolas as well and I'll always celebrate it before I celebrate something as Halloween. Though scaring the heeby jeebies out of womeone in the middle of the night is equally fun. I think Halloween should be all about pranks and the night and horror instead of going around asking for candy. Trick but no treat! that's the way it ought to be. Surprise your fellow man in the middle of the night by whacking him really hard! :-D I don't think "related" is a good word. We both speak Dutch here, it's just the same situation as with the US and the UK. You guys pronounce words differently and have some words we wouldn't ever even think of using. e.g. If you wanna say somebody is crazy call them 'gek' and not 'mesjogge'. Though on the other hand, people in Flanders find that outright hilarious when you use such words. :-P :-D :-)

I'd still make sure I'd have more than just four suspension points. The model might not fall down but what seems to me like a bigger concern is that it might break up and just hang there. Suppose you take four points along the side, I'm afraid the middle might break up as it wouldn't be supported there cause of its size. Just a thought

Aha, well dear *yoda* , look at this, I ain't about to let some 900 year old, green midget get the best off me and of course more than 1100 different kinds of
-
Need I say more?
-
The person above me is Belgian which is ok in my book ;-)
-
The smaller the better, in your case, I wouldn't even try, it'll probably break By the way, maybe yo've had to explain this a lot so far, but was Deinonychus a two meter high, three or so meters long, intelligent, fast carnivor from the Cretacious? :-) I've been interested in dinos for some time but I haven't had a chance to refresh my knowledge a bit. *sad*

Come to think of it, I do have just one LEGO Confession When somebody else has been building on a set which was bought for me, I tear it down again as I'm very insistent I get to build it completely all by myself away from other people in all silence. And when I'm building a vehicle, I actually pretend (in my head that is) like I'm a real time contracter working on an important vehicle which needs to be delivired. In which case I follow a modern assembly process. Namely building all the seperate pieces like wings and cockpit and engines apart and only installing them together at the last bit. Gosh, isn't it fun to be physically adult or nearly adult yet have the mind of a four year old? :-P

I know what you mean with oral exams yet somehow that scentence is so wrong :-/ Anyway, I don't know, after all I've been to scandinavia twice now but it seems such an aweful long way to go on foot if my parents refuse *alien*
