I created the a web app (inside a codepen, the whole code is there if anyone is interested/ wanna be sure i don't do weird stuff with your api token). full code version -> https://codepen.io/boicu_petronel/pen/JjoVJNy https://codepen.io/boicu_petronel/full/JjoVJNy Note that if you provide an invalid Rebrickable API KEY or you reached the "Too Many Requests" the application might crash leaving a blank screen. I left a "default" list of parts... for test purposes. The app is not aesthetically pleasing nor bug-proof... feel free to report any bugs or improvements to be made. I will continue to add support for links to Bricklink/BrickOwl and some pictures there...

I went a bit and looked at the Rebrickable API and made some calls and found out that you could query the colors of certain pieces. curl https://rebrickable.com/api/v3/lego/parts/24119/colors/?key=[INSERT_YOUR_REBRICKABLE_API_KEY] > 24119.json as a test I looked at https://rebrickable.com/parts/24119 The response includes more colors than they actually are (like "Light Turquoise"), but there is some info that could be used to filter out these. "color_name": "Red", "num_sets": 3, "num_set_parts": 10, "elements": ["6227232"] num_sets/num_set_parts must be > 0 or the presence of the elements array (don't really know what that means at the moment) If there is a need for this, I could make a script in the next few days that would gather all available colors for any list of items and provide the result in an agreeable format html/ csv ... maybe excel format if possible.

The build looks awesome. Those chains look awesome, but the best part: the CHICK. I would be interested in the digital file and/or instructions. -

I like the pneumatic system for the crane legs. If you manage to add the battery as a counter weight to the crane, its gonna hold even more. Uuuu I would love to see that :D -
Thanks @Didumos69 for this detailed explanations. I recently got into the https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/162031-gearboxes-with-new-orange-selector-20z-clutch-gear/ topic and built all the gearboxes you designed and posted the lxf. The one explained here took me a full day to understand (I stood on page 2 till i understood how it works, silly me the explanation were on the next pages). and build it 5 times (one complete, and 1 for each gear sequence) I am still unclear on how the central differential gearbox works... I was looking for a "tool" that would simply highlight the gears/axles while i rotate them, but i could not find such thing.

Buwizz 2.0, I will weigh the vehicle when i get back home and edit this response. At some point in the video one of the buwizz lost connection i was doing circles just with one buggy motor xD (the steering was on that buwizz too) I have a "dashboard camera" video too ... but i don't think is that good, after a few crashes the camera got covered Edit: The vehicle + the phone that was filming as "dashcam" wight 973g -

I tried to film a bit... but got quite dark till i could got some spare time... so the quality of the video is not that good https://bricksafe.com/files/clawp1995/buggy-motor/final_5d5b02050445e600135ecd54_147216.mp4 On ludacrious mode the buggy motors always triggered the buwizz protection (the speed used in video is Normal) Also the steering was quite awful for me on a xbox joystick xD i do have to practice more... -

The rims were bought from alliexpres https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32825994299.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.3a994c4dVsbyaI (the shop doesnot exist anymore) I will try tomorrow to make a short video, hopefully it wont look so "shaky" -

I managed to build -> RM8´s BAJA Trophy Truck with a single buwizz...(atm) I was a bit impatient to test the motors and it flew off my bed :D... (on normal mode) My buwizz keeps disconecting instantly if i try to go from forward to backwards w/o waiting for the car to stop... The buggy motors seems to be power hungry as the originals... I will try to add a video when i get the time. -

RC Buggy Motor
Clawp replied to Clawp's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Mine was 22 days => 3 days with china courier, 11 days from china to Sweden, 8 days within my country... without working weekends I tried some videos method of measuring torque: https://bricksafe.com/files/clawp1995/buggy-motor/ezgif-2-decb744a67ce.mp4 I used a 12L axle, now i don't know if the "arms length" is from the center or not... from the center till the end of the axle there are 9.8cm and the motors pushes 190-210 grams. -

[WIP] Sloped turret tank
Clawp replied to Clawp's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I found a nice way to make the sloped turret and mount it on a z56 turntable... In the process of making the turret i had an idea to make the gun elevation operated from inside the turret. I deviated from the UDES 15/16 :D I added some features like a mini gun on the turret and 2 hatches. Pictures could be found here: https://bricksafe.com/pages/clawp1995/technic-tank# -
RC Buggy Motor

Hello guys. Today i got the package from the postal office: And the motors feel quite nice.. I installed "Giri -The RPM Checker" on my phone and did a small test on the motors (all 4). On my lego battery box that outputs 8.8 volts with the 6 x new duracell batteries i (8.54 volts, with one motor running without stalling) The application managed to show me a constant rpm on each motor: 1211.2 / 1130.5 rpm outer 1534.2 / 1615 rpm inner The test was inserting an 8L axle with some tape on the end and running it agains the phone microphone, the higher value was achieved without actualy hitting the phone with the tape, and the lower one was while the tape was hitting the case of the phone. Here is the link to the store i bought the buggy motors: http://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/bMCP2U1E After few checks i saw that the motors appears on more stores now... at different prices... I ordered from this store before and i know that the seller is serious (you could see the actually packaging there... without the box) This week i will look for a Dynamometer Spring to try to measure the torque :D. I tried to keep my post "slim", but if you want more photos/videos with specific actions, please ask and i will try to provide as i can. -
I loved the videos when you posted them. You did a great job with the suspension and the overall look of the tank. I really like the concept of Hydraulic Suspension, i am really curious about the mechanism used for that... for a week i tried to reproduce something similar but without any of the results, always something was too stiff or the axles from front/back moved both in a synchronous manner ( i am talking about wheel 1 with 2 and 3 with 4). its still drives me crazy By any chance you could share some details? I would much apreciate.

Hello lego lovers, I got a passion for tanks and for the last year or more... I have tried to build something of my own... but everytime I got discouraged about my "creation" and sadly dismantle it. The only decent part that i could make was the hull of the tank that did not looked like a brick or shallow and full of holes... but i did dismantle that too after i could not figure out how to make a decent shaped turret. Now i made myself some courage and I started to build a "sloped turret" like UDES 15/16 (from worlf of tanks): Here is the lxf for anyone interesed: https://bricksafe.com//files/clawp1995/technic-tank/sloped turret - presentation.lxf The issue i am having now (beside that i cant even rotate the turret to stay on the panel -> 64681 and 64393) is that i cant find a way to add a "base" to this turret. Thanks in advance to any person that might consider to provide feedback. :D

I will try: to measure the rpm. I am not sure atm how to measure the torque. (Hopefully the postal office in my country will start moving the packages... in average an alliexpress packages takes 3-5 days to reach Romania and 1-4 weeks for the package to move inside the country) I am eager to test the motors
