  1. I don't get the line when he said it would include Majisto plus two knights as the original leaked it, but wasn't it one knight only ? I also think ot would be Lion's Knights faction but maybe not and it will include (re)new faction as 40567 Forest Hideout introduced Forestmen reboot. But I doubt that because they may had do it because of the 10305 castle. But who knows what can be around the corner ? ;-) Viking village will be released octobre 1st.
  2. According to Brick Clicker (see his last video on YT), set 40601 Majisto Promo would contain 365 parts and will be available on 18th-19th november during the VIP week-end that come before black friday.
  3. I want to believe that if @Brick Clicker persists in relaying these informations, it does not do so without having some guarantee that the leaks are founded and therefore that the survey sets will really come out one day or another. But maybe I'm wrong and it's just about surfing the buzz and getting views.
  4. The blurry picture of the leaked model shows us that it seems to contain not only a goat but quite a lot of animals!
  5. We do not know. It was elected from the first version, the one called "more realistic" and with a snowy environment. But in the meantime its second version with bright colors has reached the 10k votes required to receive the LEGO Ideas evaluation. Although it was rejected in the end, one can imagine that both versions are taken into account for the final result.
  6. I think Brick Clicker posted this video because at this time of the year we are a bit in the bottom of the wave regarding leaks. He focuses on the famous massive leak of this beginning of the year but as you say we don't know if he confirms them or if he is just summarizing what we already know (we can see that there is a goat from the beginning in the center of the prototype model). I'm not sure if the Medieval Market is to be included in the "remakes / reboots of iconic sets line", not that this one isn't iconic enough, but It is more as a side project of the castle that was put aside for reasons budgets. Of course, its release is an opportunity to pay tribute to the set 10193 released in 2009. But maybe I'm wrong because we can see that this new medieval market includes what looks like remake of the 6067 Guarded Inn. Maybe things don't have to be so strict after all. For me there are two possibilities: - or the future medieval market will cohabit with the release of a "true" new remake of a classic set that we ignore yet; - or there will be no new remake in 2024 and the release of the medieval market is kind of a disguised way to release the remake of a "classic set", but they had better produce a pretty yellow vintage packaging in this case, which I doubt because the first medieval market is too recent to have benefited from such an honor ! ;-)
  7. Yes, but if we follow this logic by comparing the price of Viking Village with that of 10320 Eldorado Fortress (proportionally with the PPP), the latter should then be calculated at 155€. Ok, there are printed sails, but it doesn't justify a difference of 60€! Eldorado Fortress is about 28% more expensive (in proportion to PPP). Why ?
  8. Can it be ? Based on current pricing practices It is seriously underpriced, and it sounds too good to be true to me.
  9. I don't think so because LEGO has every interest in riding the Pirates vs Imperials wave by giving the Barracuda a rival ship. An opportunity perhaps for them to also reboot the redcoats. Many people are enraged, myself included not being able to afford the 10210 Imperial Flagship released in 2010. Have you seen its price now? It was the ultimate ship. There is no doubt that remaking a ship of this type would be a huge success, and this beyond the simple fans of the Pirates theme. The Islanders have a strong following but only among Pirates fans I think. Of course I would love to see them doing a comeback! But don't you think LEGO is now more cautious about producing again Native Americans sets, especially in the context of a confrontation with Westerners minifigures ?
  10. A new Armada Flagship would be a dream, but unfortunately I don't think this faction is iconic enough for LEGO to dedicate a reboot to it. I secretly hope so though. In 2014 we had a wonderful Conquistador figurine, which shows that the heritage has not been forgotten. but it's probably nothing more than a wink. Imperial Flagship is the next remake of the Pirates universe, I'm reasonably sure.
  11. Although I already have it, I would like it to be available again so buy one and keep it boxed. But I'd rather LEGO focus on rebooting 6286 Skull's Eye Schooner or 10210 Imperial Flagship.
  12. This modification is just essential. It brings so much to this point I think there's a kind of visual anomaly without it (it really jumped out at me when I discovered the first visuals of the set. The rendering here is really superb. Really strange that LEGO didn't put yellow parts in this place like on the original. However, it didn't shock me that much that they lowered the level of the yellow color on the whole frontage. Maybe I even prefer this distribution with more white.
  13. I hear your point of view, but for me it does not work. And I feel that these parts will remain exclusive, at least which will not be used in the future for new hypothetical Castle minifigures.
  14. I find that these two new elements are far too futuristic to be transposed in the Castle universe and I highly doubt that LEGO has this idea in mind anyway.
  15. After the set 76423 Hogwarts Express & Hogsmeade Station, it is the turn of the set 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank to include the piece with the effigy of the dragon (https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=98138pb380#T=C&C=115). We also see that the emphasis is placed on this emblem with a large logo on the box of the set as well as the presence of this symbol on one or more Tile Round 2x2 Pearl Gold parts with the inscription: "Unum Galleon" seeable in the online shop (https://www.lego.com/cdn/cs/set/assets/blt80ec055086a3919e/76417_alt7.png?format=webply&fit=bounds&quality=75&width=800&height=800&dpr=1). Earlier in the topic I made the connection with the classic dragon from the Castle theme because I find that this one looks particularly like it. In fact, it is the same dragon. I thought the introduction of this piece in the Hogwarts Express was an occasional way of rescuing the Dragon Knights more sustainably. I think I took this dream for a reality and this is a disappointment. Indeed, it was ignoring the fact that it is an official logo from the Harry Potter universe! But still, I can't help but think it's ideal for LEGO if they want to include these parts in the future GWP Majisto because the dragon absolutely looks like it's from the Dragon Knights era. Very strange. Could it be a simple wink? Or maybe LEGO really intended to kill two birds with one stone with the introduction of this new printed currency: HP and Castle?
  16. Here in France we have 19 LEGO stores, ten of which are not "official" and therefore have Certified Store status. These are the types of stores that have opened in recent years. I live 10 kms from a big city where there is a store and so you are going to tell me that I have no excuse to complain about fearing to receive my boxes damaged insofar as I am lucky enough to to be able to recover the DTCs by myself. The problem is that these Certified stores do not have the VIP program and do not have the important offers with the GWPs like the one from July 11 to 15. And I refuse to buy from them until their offers are aligned with official stores. Apparently it's in the test phase in a Parisian store but it's been going on for years... I don't know what the economic stakes are behind these maneuvers but what I'm sure of is that it's to the detriment of the consumer... For me, having Lego Certified Store is kind of like having no Lego Store at all. Their only merit is having a 15% reduction on a purchase the week of our anniversary, which is equivalent to tripling the VIP points with immediate effect. So the store only sees me once a year, otherwise I order online.
  17. How do you know your set was lost in transit? Have you called customer service?
  18. The kind of comment that scares me a little more. This is what happens because no protection is provided to the boxes. I'm very afraid to receive the GWP in the same state as you... Unbearable to know that nothing can be done because even by warning the customer service of the problem in order to anticipate the damage, they don't care and wait for us to contact them after receipt of the package for a possible return, etc. What a mess! With the national holiday today in France, my order will arrive on Monday. It is shipped from Belgium. A LEGO order is always a moment of worry and spoils the fun because half of the time there is a problem of crushing of the sets due to poor optimization of the space in the packages.
  19. Yes, I see this box thanks to @eldiano. So you receive your GWPs in a separate package ? My last two orders were the castle, a copy in last august and one in november, which I took with some GWP. Each time I had two tracking numbers corresponding respectively to two parcels. We will see, maybe it will be different this time. In your case, does this affect the LEGO parts? Your box is damaged? Do you plan to tell customer service? By maximizing the care given to the package especially with boxes suitable for large and heavy sets (like the 10305 which is perfect), including bubble wrap, thick paper, ensuring that nothing moves in the packages. I understand that LEGO doesn't want to maximize this approach because it's not "green" (but are LEGO toys after all?). In the meantime, this would avoid returns due to damaged boxes, so less time wasted for us to carry out the procedure, and for them less money for transport, logistics, refund, etc.
  20. I can't tell you because my order has just gone "Shipped" but since there is only one tracking number I see that the box was put in the same shipping box as the 4 GWPs . I'm very afraid that all this will arrive in bad condition because of too much space. However, I contacted customer service as soon as it opened on Tuesday 11 and I was told that it was important not to worry, that the warehouse staff knows what they are doing and that they will use two boxes if they deem it necessary. Each order makes me anxious because I want to receive the boxes in perfect shape as it is produced, it is the minimum it seems to me, but many do not understand. More care to shipping could avoid so much trouble and wasting time / money.
  21. Yes, via a code on Stonewars. I like it and also the Blacktron cruiser, but I can't deal with stickers so I think I certainly will sell the whole. I get a blue plate to reach the threshold. Maybe I will just keep the fun accessories polybag because of the two pigs.
  22. My point is : LEGO is a bit sadistic and they are waiting to release this large and pricy set to include the new goat to maximize their profit. They want to ride the popularity of the castle to make it available but don't want to wait for potential new buyers to buy both sets. I imagine a summer 2024 release would be the perfect timing. But maybe I'm all wrong because we saw Pirates of Barracuda Bay disappear so early (less than 18 months), and now Eldorado Fortress has just launched, making the former set very desirable and therefore sought after, which does not bother LEGO a priori...
  23. I love the three factions. Too bad there weren't more sets featuring the Armada.
