Too much of it included in the 10305? I don't find that. There is indeed a piece of rampart, but it seems to be a fortification paying explicit homage to set 6067 Guarded Inn, especially with the red color of the building. Undoubtedly we can build something equivalent with the 10305 but I do not at all believe that this is a duplicate, quite the contrary, it is a way of extending the castle by adding an enclosure on the edge of which are arranged civilian buildings. Although it's completely blurry, the set looks great and very complete to me. However I find the colours strange, and if there's anything that seems preliminary, that's it. I don't like that khaki color of the building on the right at all, I hope they will change it, I would prefer a more vivid and retro color like a blue one. Also we can't really see what the color of the building on the far left is. Can it be grey ? If the 4 building portions can be closed in two full buildings then why are the 4 facades of different colors? And as you say, in view of the requests on the LEGO IDEAS that i regularly check, there is a real desire for medieval buildings so I do not see how they could not release a dedicated set as they already did in 2010 and also more recently with the set focusing on the blacksmith. I'm just trying not to think too much about it so as not to be disappointed if it doesn't happen in the end. A question : Do you also think it's a jester on stilts in the center of the picture? So fun and great idea if it's the case. Otherwise, I take advantage of your post to salute your work on Youtube, I watch your videos on alternative models from time to time and I find them really inspiring! Keep up the good job ! I discussed with an employee of my local LEGO store thursday and he told me that the Galaxy Explorer does not sell well. Too bad because it's a masterpiece and it's well priced. The opposite goes for the castle which apparently sells very well here, as the Medieval Blacksmith. He said it won't be surprising if LEGO continue Castle theme related sets and the leak for a new Medieval Market is a good sign of this direction. Indeed, castle designers have said they would had like to incorporate a civil scenary around it but it wasn't possible, certainly for budget / price target reasons. I didn't ask how PoBB sold. For me it's an absolute masterpiece that I proudly possess and admire each day as the Lion's Knights' Castle. These are ones of the best LEGO sets of all time that successfully synthetize everything that is great in their respectives themes, like ultimate accomplishments of the genres. I'm looking for Rivendell now that I will purchase when the moment will be right. Even if I'm more a classic themes fan, I really hope the durable return of the licence. It looks promising. There is a certain hype on the internet and LEGO employee told me they had so much demands these last weeks. They anticipate big success for this set. Of course It's true that the more an more presence of licence themes cannibalise in a certain way the possibility of traditional LEGO themes. It' sad. But as you guys said is "easy money" for them.

Any chance that everything is printed in the diorama set ? Mosaic symbols are definitely not brick builds since I saw the back of the box but we don't really know if these are printed tiled or stickers. The same goes for stone figures, heads on the buttons and the plaque with quotes from the movie.

Yes, for me it is the obvious one. Is the potential release of this set a way for LEGO to "apologize" for not releasing a Pirates-themed set on its 90th birthday in 2022? Indeed, Castle was the winner and yet the Space universe was entitled to the superb set 10497. So why not honor third place with a little delay?

Thank you ! In french we call that space "chambre forte" (strongroom). I now understand the meaning of "vault". Vault bank is a big strong room. On the other hand, I find it difficult to grasp the metaphor that would lead one to think that they would draw on old designs to create the new one. Can't it be more literal? For example the port building of an imperial bank?

Please, what is the meaning of "vault" in Vault D2C ? I looked in the dictionnary but didn't find something that stick or maybe I just miss something here. I'm French, sorry.

Overall, I'm satisfied with the new figurines from the community. But some points could have been improved: - GANDALF: needs a specific blue hat that leaves his long hair visible ; - BOROMIR: needs more detailed arms and legs ; - LEGOLAS: needs special hair instead of this new generic elven hairstyle. It would have been also great to have a new elven quiver piece that does not interfere with the hairstyle ; - GIMLI: the color of the hair and the beard is too light and it would have been better to keep the 3D details of the ancient helmet.
