10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set

I think so too, but it's hard to see the reason why because they are quite different and even complementary! I really like both, but the original is really great I think!- 2,976 replies

10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set
Khargeust replied to R0Sch's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Do you think we might see the return of the Super Mario Bullet Bill helmet in the next August set (see the picture here attached) ? More seriously I want to talk about the "Headgear Helmet Castle with Chin Guard" (https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3896&idColor=11#T=C&C=11) that we have seen distributed abundantly in old Castle sets until 2003. Unfortunately I believe it has been abandoned over time with the recent reboots of the range. I find this very unfortunate because they are emblematic of Castle and bring a significant touch of diversity. By the way, I believe that of all classic medieval helmets (Headgear Helmet Castle with Neck Protector 3844, Headgear Helmet Castle Closed with Eye Slit 89520, Headgear Helmet Castle with Fixed Face Grille x167, Headgear Helmet with Visor Pointed 2594, Headgear Helmet Castle with Chin Guard and Broad Brim 30273), it's the only one that is no longer in production, do you know why? I love it so much !- 2,976 replies

I am considering taking the Medieval Blacksmith to take advantage of the offer. The Medieval Blacksmith cost 149.99€. Do LEGO offer the missing penny to reach the 150€ or do I have to take another item if I want to get the GWP ?

I don't know if this opinion is shared by many AFOLs or not, but as for me, I don't like the black background of the LEGO box packaging at all. I know the idea is to target an adult audience with sober and "classy" marketing. I find the rendering to be generic, lazy and downright ugly. The photo of the set is simply placed on a black background, it feels really inauthentic. It gives a feeling of regression compared to the old designs which tried a bit to be creative with pictorial backgrounds related to the set. Although some had a dated side, I loved their old-fashioned charm ! What do you think about it ?

It seems too big you're right, especially since Lego seems to want to give their best shot on the two Castle sets. But we can always dream ! :-) Little Pirates sets are welcome however ! Right, but a space reissue under the 10497 label will be released soon, so why not a pirate set insofar as this range is among the winners of the vote ?

We definitely need a new Imperial Flagship and / or Imperial Fortress to go with the recent Pirates of Barracuda Bay.

Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures
Khargeust replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The problem is not that it looks like a mosque or not, but that some people put pressure on LEGO under the pretext that it looks like it and can thus prevent the reproduction of this iconic place in LEGO. It appears that Leia Slave's presence in the set is essential as it is part of the film and its development. I do not see how his presence can cause debate, it is ridiculous. The film does not value slavery, quite the contrary in fact ! Furthermore, I think a complete MBS set based on Jabba's Palace requires Leia to be present in her bounty hunter outfit AND in her metallic bikini, unless this last one is consecrated in the future in an MBS set based on Jabba's barge. But I think I'm dreaming now ... Like you, I find it hard to see what they could do like MBS apart from Jabba Palace and Endor Bunker, unless they redo the Echo base, as mentioned above, or Ewok village we'll see ... Like you, I think the Palace would be a set with greater potential for commercial success than the bunker, especially because of the potential variety of figs. But it seems more certain that the next set will be a set on Endor so that two sets based on Tatooine do not follow one another. Regarding the Brickset poll, although I'm not particularly interested in the prequel, I voted for the Geonosis arena because having grown up with the first Lego Star Wars from 1999 to 2005, I always regretted that a such set was not produced, especially the beasts. -

Let's assume that this will be an MBS based on the original trilogy for commercial reasons. So in this case what is most likely to come out as an iconic scene for the next MBS besides Endor's Bunker? It's hard to envision another scene for the next MBS. No Tatooine scene because of the recently released Cantina, no Bespin scene because of 75222. How about a real MBS on Hoth to fix the 2016 one? -

The possibility that an MBS on Endor will emerge in near future appears very probable and the description you give of it seems to me to be really faithful to what we might see. If I'm impatient to see what it would turn out to be, I'm even more impatient about a Jabba's Palace. Does it seem plausible to you that an MBS could be dedicated to it despite the controversies after the release of the 9516 set ? Will we one day see this emblematic place reissued like the Rancor pit, especially in the MBS format ? I find the idea particularly exciting and I don't see how lego could miss the opportunity to reproduce these iconic scenes from Return of the Jedi. It is also a perfect idea set that could provide a significant batch of beautiful figurines that we haven't seen for a long time. Also, that's not to mention the barge that would cause a great MBS on its own unless it finds a place one day as UCS. Just imagine... -

I hope to see in the future a set dedicated to the pursuit of speeders on Endor, maybe we can hope for next year if LEGO made the 20 years of the range with classic sets. A set that includes : - Luke and Leia in Endor outfit (and their rebel helmets). - 2-3 Scout Troopers - 2-3 speeders - Vegetation and actions features In short, a revival of the set 7128 but this time complete and updated! -

It was mine. I was wrong in republishing my message. This is a question that was originally dedicated to the topic "Future Star Wars Sets" but that I finally did not ask, because no one can have the answer, although I see many people thinking that a reissue of the AT-AT in 2019 is very likely given that next year it will be more than four years since we have had a new version. -

In fact, what annoys me the most is not so much that it is round, but spherical! We will see. Do you know if it is someone from the site who might have seen the set exclusively or just a user? -

It would be coherent. I read your topic "What I expect 75222 to be". I share your expectations, but I hope the set will not be round like the Death Star but more like the historic Bespin World Kenner one with modular zones. -
Oh yes, I did not understand, thank you! In any case, it is undoubtedly much cheaper to buy the pieces individually than by seeking to acquire these two sets, even if they can each provide other pieces necessary for the realization of the TIE Fighter.

Hello, Do you know when the output of the set 75222 UCS is exactly planned? Has LEGO already communicated on this? -
Yes, sorry I did not see ... Thank you for this warning! Is the price difference much higher on the LEGO shop than on Bricklink? Are all the existing LEGO parts can be found on the official shop? I do not know how to proceed at best.

Hello Jerac and you all! I finally decided to create an account on Eurobricks, thanks to this topic! I find these creations absolutely fantastic! I had already seen the video of Brickvault who was promoting it, but did not know this forum at that time. Before buying the instructions on Brickvault, I would have liked to know the approximate amount that would have to be paid to get all the necessary parts for create the TIE Fighter for example. To those who have the instructions and who have had the opportunity to create these models (Forresto, Ecmo47, apparently), can you help me by informing me an approximate price order? Currently, I have no parts because I just go out of dark age and still I do not have access to my childhood sets. Best regards all.
