    I would like to know if the cardboard packaging in which we receive the castle from the online store, and which apparently is padded on two sides to absorb shocks, is the same as the one that the LEGO stores make available to customers?

    Thank you for this light. I force myself not to consult the booklet before getting the castle in order to preserve a little of the magic of discovery! How seriously can we expect this to be a sign that LEGO could focusing on future Castle sets involving these factions, and not just aesthetic harmonization with the Black Falcons, Forestmen and Lion Knights insignia update? I would love to see the return of the Black Knights, Wolfpack, as well as the fantasy era, particularly for dwarves and trolls for which there were few sets finally. I missed the LOTR & Hobbit themes because I was in the so called dark age when they came out. Sets and figurines are at an unaffordable price today. It's a shame. I don't really like the Fright Knights though, so I don't care if they come back, but it would bother me if it happened at the expense of other more emblematic factions or just factions that I prefer.

    Superb ! This perfectly restores the spirit of the original set with current vibes. This is exactly what I'm looking for in the revival of the classic LEGO themes like Castle.

    I would like to see what two or even three sets combined could do. I like your MOC, one could imagine that the trunk is higher than a floor with a second copy. Or even a wider and higher trunk at the same time with four / five sets combined. I imagine a very large tree with a high platform where the Forestmen would watch, like a "natural watchtower" where the structure would fit perfectly. It could be brown in color, which would distinguish it from the black color of the tree. I already have a set in box, but I still hope that the rumors are true and that the offer will reappear at the beginning of August. It would justify for me the purchase of the castle as soon as it appears. And even if I don't take this one right away, it would lower the price of Forest Hideout on the secondary market and therefore make it possible to obtain it at a lower cost than its current price.

    I voted for these two beauties ! But why ? Excuse my naivety ! But an imperial ship would be a sell-out ! I don't understand why they do more for the classic pirates theme. Look at the popularity of the 10210 set and the huge price at which people are willing to buy it on the secondary market ! Similarly, imperial buildings would undoubtedly be acclaimed. But perhaps a release of these type of sets is just around the corner given the recent succes of Pirates of Barracuda Bay. Besides, do we know how well this set sold ? Because I think it left the stores quite early, as far as France is concerned (no more than 18 months)...

    The project was submitted on the Lego Ideas platform less than 45 days ago and at the time of writing these lines it has 6330 votes. It's impressive ! Do you remember any projects that won support so quickly? Honestly, I don't know how this one couldn't win and end up on our shelves, but no doubt that's the fan talking...

    Love it. I already voted for it a couple of days before. It's fantastic. I hope this project of yours will be on shelves one day. We definitely need that kind of set as an Imperial Flagship or Imperial Fortress to go with Pirates of Barracuda Bay. I also hope we will not wait until Lego 100th anniversary to see sets like that coming ! ;-)

It would be really weird if it was a sticker prototype because the image is from the so-called "lifestyle" photo series. As for the classic shield, I find it highly doubtful that it could be a sticker as it will be featured with the knight of the 23th MFS. So it does look like with certainty a print for the classic lego castle shield. They know we hate stickers but that doesn't stop the brand from putting them in sets costing several hundred euros. Just take a look at the Lego star wars UCS sets... Which is quite outrageous.

    Yesterday Black Falcons, today Forestmen and tomorrow Lion Knights. Beautiful, I'm delighted ! Do you think LEGO could capitalize on the nostalgia of the Wolfpack, Black Knights, or maybe other factions in the future by re-releasing them with matching sets, or aren't they iconic enough that something is seriously possible with them ?

    It's strange. According to the photos, it looks like some shields are printed and some are stickers. On the picture I shared for example, as I said for the shield of the knight in armor and that of the queen look like stickers while the shield of the soldier to the right of the queen seems printed. Surprisingly too, it looks like the young man's tunic in the photo is a sticker, which is highly doubtful. So I don't know what to think now. Could some elements be printed while others would be stickers?
