At this stage of production, are the boxes already printed with sets sealed inside or is it a bit too early ?

10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set
Khargeust replied to R0Sch's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I managed to have two copies for the moment, still in the box because I haven't taken the time or the space yet to take care of it with appropriate attention. I don't know how long the castle will be available. Some spoke about a window of one year, others five years... In any case I will make sure to get myself a third copy in order to create a huge personal version. Since I got back to LEGO a few years ago, I bought a lot of sets from various ranges but I ended up reselling everything to buy only the sets from the classic themes (currently in my possession: 21322, 21325, 40567 x5, 10497, 10305 x2), wjat I adore the most. I also keep all my childhood sets bought between 1999 and 2006 (mainly Star Wars). How do you proceed with your MOCs? In the case of a castle, do you make drawings on paper before looking for the appropriate pieces?- 2,976 replies

10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set
Khargeust replied to R0Sch's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I'm looking for MOCs made with one or more copies of the 10305, but I really can't find many. Maybe it's too soon, the set was released less than five months ago after all.- 2,976 replies

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Khargeust replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Sticker sheet ? I hope everything is printed. -
I'm a little disappointed, in principle, if it's Rivendell. For me the ultimate set would be a staging of the confrontation with the Balrog. There is plenty to have a great setting between the bridge, the rock faces, a scaled Balrog and of course the fellowship of the ring and the goblins. My second choice would have been Bilbo's house complete and very detailed with all the dwarves in the company. There would be enough to make a great playset with detailed interiors that can be closed with a shutter system, and a magnificent exterior. However I trust LEGO to offer us a great set if Rivendell is confirmed.

LEGO IDEAS teams up with Dungeons And Dragons!
Khargeust replied to HeyComeMerryDol's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Me too. It should be à must have for Castle fans. The choice was obvious, I didn't have to think. However, is it really possible for LEGO to choose Dragon's Keep model after "all" these recent Castle theme-inspired sets? Wouldn't it be redundant to release such a set after the references 10305, 40567, 31120, 21325? for Marketing reasons in order to diversify its offer, shouldn't they rather choose the model namely "The Monster Manual" which is just as emblematic of D&D? -

10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set

The VIP points have been added to my account in the same time the order has been shipped. It never usually appears for me before they change the order status to "shipped".- 2,976 replies

10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set
Khargeust replied to R0Sch's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Hello, I placed an order this Monday at 12:15 a.m. Paris time. I took the castle. I was waiting for a good opportunity to do so since its release, which is the case since I was able to obtain a doubling of VIP points, two GWPs (Ray the Castaway + Santa's Front Yard) as well as the Halloween polybag. At the time I write these lines, that is to say more or less 8 p.m., Paris time once again, the order is still in the warehouse. I don't know if this 4 day delay is a concern or not. My concern: that the castle and the small promotional sets arrive together in a huge cardboard box when there is a great protective cardboard packaging for the castle and therefore it involves irreparable damage during transport as is too often the case to my great despair. I sent an email to the sales department shortly after placing my order to find out if it was possible to separate the order into two separate packages, one for the castle and another for the other items. I was told no, on the one hand for ecological reasons, on the other hand because it is impossible to separate a GWP from the set that allowed us to obtain it (more absurd reason, is that possible?). I also contacted the sales department by phone to make the same request. They answered me that they were not going to be able to fulfill it insofar as it is the order pickers in the warehouse who have control, but that however it was quite possible if logistical reasons forced them to do so. Also, I collected several opinions from people on French blogs in the same situation as me and having placed a similar order a few weeks ago. All have received the castle in the dedicated box and their promotional sets offered in a separate box, which is encouraging I therefore wanted to collect your feedback, this time by soliciting an international audience, in order to know if you too received your castle and the promotional sets accompanying it separately?- 2,976 replies

In my opinion, I find that a Rivendell set would be disappointing. Not that I don't like the idea. I'm sure it would make a great display set. But if there is only going to be one set, I would prefer to see a set where the action is focused like a set based on the Mines of Moria (The Tomb of Balin scene or the clash with the Balrog). Bag End would be a great choice for balancing display and action sets!

For me there are only a few serious possibilities. 1. Bag End: The place is undoubtedly the most iconic and it also brings together Hobbit fans since the place is present, at least indirectly, in all 6 films. In view of the price, this would make it possible to have a complete and rich set, like the MBS series for Star Wars. With the characters Bilbo (old and young), Frodo, Gandalf, and all the dwarves of Thorin's company? 2. An emblematic scene from the saga that brings together as many characters as possible from the community: Balin's Tomb seems ideal but has already been done as a playset, but so is Bag End after all. The confrontation with the Balrog in the Mines of Moria would be more likely. This would make it possible to obtain the entire Fellowship of the Ring, a very good idea for a large set supposed to celebrate the saga. And it would give the opportunity to have a very precise and detailed Balrog. Also included: pieces of buildings, goblins. 3. Minas Tirith: In microscale or related version. With a small selection of exclusive figurines (Gondor in particular) as for the UCS from Star Wars.

LEGO Star Wars 2022 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

I'm sure the landing gear, if it doesn't retract, can detach smoothly, to put it in flight mode. All that's left is to build a stand to show it in action! -
10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set
Khargeust replied to R0Sch's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I found some videos that "double" the castle in mirror effect, which I don't find interesting at all. Much more interesting, I'm curious to see what an XL version looks like. Can't wait to see what some can create with multiple copies or just extra parts. I give myself one to two years to acquire 3 copies and build my personalized version.- 2,976 replies

Great, I love it. Is the bard in league with the BF, or is trying to distract them so the forestwoman can escape unseen, or is he just neutral ? 😉

10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set
Khargeust replied to R0Sch's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thank you for the photos. Did you take two castles to display them this way at home or was it just to give us an idea of what it looks like in terms of volume ? Personally, I don't like at all the way two copies are rendered next to each other. I don't know yet what I'm going to do when I manage to acquire the three desired copies. Either keep a version of the model built and extend it, improve it with the other two. Or else build an entirely unique model with the parts of the three copies.- 2,976 replies

10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set
Khargeust replied to R0Sch's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I already have two Forestmen Hideout (acquired as gift during both periods of availibility with Blacksmith first time and Galaxy Explorer second time), and two more are on their way in the mail which I bought new at a good price on the secondary market. I'm looking for a fifth one and then I stop. Concerning the castle, I would like to acquire 3 copies, but it is clear that I will take my time and be as strategic as possible by aiming for possible discounts, double VIP points and by seeking to be offered one copie by accumulating birthday and Christmas period. I just hope it's available long enough for me to get what I want because it is indeed a good sum of money.- 2,976 replies

VIKING VILLAGE Ideas set via Target vote
Khargeust replied to jtooker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Great ! Do we know if the final version will be based on the first version of the set with neutral colors or the second version more colorful ? Maybe could it be a mix ? I sincerely hope that there will be no stickers, and that the helmets of the vikings can be the same as that of the CMF viking minifigure ! I find them more stylish and more authentic ! I have a hard time understanding the partnership with Target. Does this mean that it will be a set only distributed in these stores and that European fans will be able to go jump in the lake like they did for the LEGO Star Wars 75294 Bespin Duel set ? I sincerely hope not. There are a lot of historic LEGO themes fans here in european countries. I also had a question. I love BrickHammer's creations, voted for them all and find them always balancing the vintage spirit of the golden age of classic LEGO themes with just the right touch of modernity. I wonder if the fact that the Viking Village will become a real LEGO Ideas set prevents the various BrickHammer creations from becoming official LEGO sets in the future. Indeed, I dream of seeing his Armada Port or his Steampunk Airship (qualified for a second time) materialize. Is this possibility compromised ? Only one potential creation per LEGO Ideas user ? -
Really cool, reminds me of World of Warcraft and Warhammer. It makes me want so much LEGO to release a range again with fantastic elements: dwarves, elves, trolls, orcs in the spirit of the 2007 fantasy era of Castle. Did you mainly get thos fgurines from the sets of this time ?
