  1. It really doesn't need to be bigger than minifigure scale, and that would be about 50 x 50 cm - approximately 1.5 times the size of the current one.
  2. @DarkMalgus: I've now uploaded the files here: https://bricksafe.com/pages/Graupensuppe/sw-separatist-nr-n99-tank-droid
  3. I love all of these, except for the Wookiee Catamaran. I think the video game model is highly inaccurate and needs a bigger overhaul, so I tried to build one myself in LDD:
  4. I was looking for that one as well, to update my RotS Anakin Skywalker minifigures. I'm pretty sure the tan version from the Ninjago sets was available for some time, not sure why they now removed the part entirely...
  5. McGonagall looks good, but why did they have to use the green outfit for the fifth time? I'd love to get the black robes for once.
  6. 4! 4 new molds! AH AH AH! (thunder and lightning)
  7. It's probably because the "life size" Falcons that were built for the movies were several meters shorter than they should be, and only the cockpit and interior sets were built at full scale.
  8. What scale are you using? In "3 studs = 1 meter" scale it should be 34.5 * 2.4 = 82.8 cm. The model is 84 cm long. - TCW style minifigures are hideous and useless, and that includes the 2020 clone troopers. - The 2013 X-Wing is not a good model, it does not have the level of detail and accuracy I expect from a UCS set.
  9. Wait... is that red spot on their torsos supposed to be an eye?

  11. As the 2009 model shows, that issue can easily be solved with some sloped bricks that support the weight. It might look even better if they were trans-clear.
  12. The new one is definitely too small, assuming 3 studs = 1 meter. I tried to calculate it once again: Real AAT (original specifications): Approximately 9.75m x 8.1m x 4.3m at 1:42 scale: 23.4cm x 19.4cm x 10.3cm = 4676 cm2 Real AAT (newer specifications): Approximately 9.19m x 7.6m x 4.1m at 1:42 scale: 22.1cm x 18.2cm x 9.8cm = 3942 cm2 2020 model: 15.2cm x 14.4cm x 9.6 cm = 2101 cm2 (at most half the volume it should be, due to being neither wide nor long enough) 2009 model: 20.8cm x 19.2cm x 11.6cm = 4633 cm2 (height and length aren't perfect, but the overall volume seems about right) Ideally I'd want to pay 60-70€ for a minifigure-scale 400-500 piece AAT.
  13. But that design was created later for TCW. The droid pilots that appeared in the prequels had either blue markings or no special markings at all.
  14. It's not what I expect from a 40€ model. It's tiny, it's deformed, it seems unfinished. It uses marginally more pieces than the 2015 version, but it's not noticably more substantial. And the 2015 version wasn't a great value either. Not if she has to re-use another character's head piece. It did include a pilot droid.
  15. The AAT they released is ridiculously overpriced too. So is Grievous' starfighter. I only would've preferred the larger vehicle to be made as the larger model and the smaller vehicle as the smaller one.
  16. IMO the prices of the AAT and Grievous' starfighter should have been switched. With 487 pieces it's possible to build an accurately sized AAT (I needed 434 for mine), while Grievous starfighter isn't very large or massive and could have been built with 286 pieces (the 2007 version used only 225).
  17. 434 pieces.
  18. IMO there are more than enough vehicles and droids that would be small enough to be featured as battle pack builds: Imperial speeder bikes, rebel P-towers and DF.9 cannons, GAR BARC speeders, AT-RTs, and military load lifter droids, CIS dwarf spider droids, crab droids, and STAPs... Lego just tends to bump them up to a higher price or put them in larger sets, while needlessly making up trash for the battle packs.
  19. Actually it's built in LDD. If you PM me an email address I can send you the file.
  20. Bummer... I still wanted to download so many files from the "Official sets made in LDD" thread...
  21. With how popular the clone wars era is, I'm surprised how many vehicles of the clone and droid army have yet to be made as official sets. Octuptarra Magna Tri Droid, Crab Droid, C-9979 landing craft, Lucrehulk class (droid control ship, core ship, and battleship), Diamond class, Hardcell class, Invisible Hand, Mankvim-814 interceptor, Recusant class, Munificent class, Acclamator class, SPHA-T, three different types of Load Lifter droids, Coruscant Fire Ship, UT-AT, High-Altitude Entry Transport 221... And that's only the ones from the movies! I think the Crab droid and load lifter droids would be great builds for battle packs, while the Diamond class, Lucrehulk core ship, C-9979, and Fire Ship could be made as Microfighters (with Shu Mai, Nute Gunray's aide, Tey How, and a Coruscant firefighter as minifigures). The Octuptarra, Hardcell class, Mankvim-814, SPHA-T, UT-AT, and HAET-221 should be regular sets. And the Invisible Hand would make a great UCS set.
  22. Ah, I never noticed the resemblance before. Though bolder lines and shading could be just a stylistic choice. The lower edge of the breastplate is shaded like that as well, even though its shape and position are clearly based on the movie version. It would be a pretty weird decision to incorporate a detail of the animated phase one armor into what's otherwise a depiction of realistic phase two armor.
  23. This one? It looked entirely movie-based to me; what details would you say are based on the TCW armor?
  24. Realistic, Phase 1, version A (2002-2003; first introduced with the original AotC wave) Realistic, Phase 2, version A (2005-2008; first introduced with the original RotS wave) Realistic, Phase 2, version B (2010; Palpatine's Shuttle, Swamp Speeder, ARC-170) Realistic, Phase 1, version C (2013-2018; first introduced with the 2013 AotC wave) Realistic, Phase 2, version C (2014-2019; first introduced with the 2014 RotS wave) Animated, Phase 1, version Z (2008-2012; first introduced with the TCW movie wave) Animated, Phase 2, version Z (2013-2014; used in TCW season 4 and 5 sets) Animated, Phase 2, version Y (2016; only in the Rebels AT-TE) Animated, Phase 2, version X (2020-?; used in the 2020 TCW and RotS sets) That's how I'd classify them.
  25. I still can't get over how much worse new helmet and torso prints look compared to the 2013-2019 style...
