On the first view this seems to be no big deal for countering. But it is well build and a solid guerilla action. I'm glad that it was not on me to counter!

C: G5 (HC v. U v. DK) Not Every Damsel is in Distress
Jacob Nion replied to Scarst's topic in Guilds of Historica
Really smart way to kill two birds with one stone (or two flies with one swatter as it is said where I come from). And I like the clean look without studs. -
Thank you all so much for commenting. Pictures are below ok, I know. This was another over night build (This war is really gnawing my nerves). Ulandus makes politics against Nocturnus. And Osric will never take party against his own guild. Thanks. These are inverted tires. Aye! Thanks! I hoped there would be at least a few guys being aware o the most important Bacon-film! Thank you very much. I know, the wind wagon som kin of spoils the view. But I felt that I ha to include a kind of getaway car. I know, I know, I probably could graduate within the war but a rat going to college? That' ridiculous even in a fantasy RPG

Book II, Chal IV - Kaliphlin Civil War (Results Posted)
Jacob Nion replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
Fortune and glory, kid! It guess these are just lucky circumstances. Before the war had started I was expecting HC would have the best chances for they have gathered the most of Kaliphlin's 'all stars' and those with the largest builds.- 272 replies

This is massive! I'm glad Lord Anfauglir sends additional troops. I feel so odd when you are talking about 'bad' pictures and they turn out to have a quality I would be totally pleased by. You can tell from my (not) tremors that I struggle photographing dios of this size. But enough of that! Your fort is stunning placed nearby this massive rock. I also enjoy the pier. It really looks like something and shows that a quay can be more than simply a plate on round studs.

Great sand technique. Really like the smoothness of the dunes. And it seems someone is joineing me on the rodent train

Desert Outpost [WZ5:I10, High Council]
Jacob Nion replied to LittleJohn's topic in Guilds of Historica
Wow! Very strong entry. The roof technique is great. But there seems not to be much room for the camel -
Great effects! Really love how the churiken (is that the right word) stick in the wood.

great catacombs! Adding a second level to the build is a great idea to make a desert terrain more interesting.

No Tremors!
-
Far away in the dune sea, right in the middle of nowhere, a patrol of Osric's Mercenaries has opened a storage. Unfortunately, even the slightest vibration can lure a very serious kind of sand worm, which reacts very sensitive to tremors... The only save places seem to be the few rocks spreaded over the area. But how shall they come to their saving wind wagon? No_Tremors1 by Jacob Nion, on Flickr Ooc: I really wanted to include bacon... but there are only T-bone steaks made by Lego.

Book II, Chal IV - Kaliphlin Civil War (Results Posted)
Jacob Nion replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
Bold words. But don't forget even Ulandus seems to be more successful than HC by now :P Edit: don't get me wrong; the High Council is certainly a sleeping lion and by far not defeated yet.- 272 replies

Awesome wz! You are creating awesome challenges Ska! Regardless how the war will end, nobody will have seen more of Kaliphlin than the players who participated. -

Fantastic landscape! Your sand is really looking interesting. And again: damn I wish I'd own a camel! -
Neat one! I can imagine micro scale is hard to counter. Glad that ot's against HC It's really impressive what you did with these few bricks.

[WZ5:I10, Desert King] The Home Of A Sand Worm
Jacob Nion replied to the lego dwarf's topic in Guilds of Historica
That's funny. This morning the smallest age of ultron set arrived and the only reason for me to order it was this helmet (and Iron Man of course). Funny idea with the hole. It's also well done. But I would keep distance to it ; P -
Great idea showing the edge of the desert! Pics are a bit blurry but lighting seems to be ok.
