Lego Mirkwood Elf Guardian Polybag @ Toys R us
Wardancer replied to sgtbernalcl25's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Typical AFOL Ideas include: - Trade them for the new brown mushrooms in the Hobbit sets. Then buy half of them back for double the prize because you had an idea for a MOC. Afterwards, trade 25 mushrooms for a warg. - Buy frogs and army build the new frog army. Declare yourself leader of the frogs and post a picture on you tube. - Have CMF Hippie smoke them. - Have CMF witch cook them. - Have some FRIENDS eat them so they need to get their stomachs pumped out in a pink and violet poison emergency room. - NPU them on tiny tiny tiny starships. - Built the first super star destroyer with red and white greebles. - Write a review in which you examine possible printing errors on the mushrooms. - Wait until they are released in blue. -
Hmm, that may be an idea, but I think if I order 10 torsos, 10 legs, 10 dark green capes and so on it would cost as much. The polybag is a great parts pack. The only parts that are not interesting for me are the head and the glass and the bow, whoever sells me the rest can keep these parts for free.

HI, I am looking for 10 Mirkwood Elf Polybags.I do not want to resell them or anything sinister, Elves just are my niche. As I do live in Germany I don't have a chance to get them, so I would like to know what you could offer. I also have a MISB shirtless Darth Maul and a used celebration luke white pupils. But I am of course willing to pay money. Also I have 18 Kingdoms Lion knights for trade.
-
How about a MISB Darth Maul polybag and a ceremonial Luke skywalker (I am not very familiar with their value, so dont be offended if its a shitty offer). PM me if interested.

I think the native American will have the new axe. It is a traditional (or stereotypical) tomahawk. The eagle fighter gets the spear I guess. She will make a fine elf with the right hair. Lots of female elves, I look forward to it.
-
Ah.. I see. If Tolkien saw it that way, who am I to argue? I just realized there is rare dark orange in the bag which makes it even better. If someone finds out how to get them in Germany or wants to make a deal with me, please let me know.

I still have not understood why elves are suddenly directly associated with excessive alcohol consumption. The queen will hear of this.

The mother of polybags for an elf army builder like me. I will need10, but I have no idea how to get them in Germany.

Lord of the Rings minifigs custom
Wardancer replied to Tomcat RIO's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Uhm, ok, that is a very advanced spraying technique. I just pointed the spray can towards the horses and pressed the button. No wonder yours look so good. I fear to meet you in CCC this year. -
I hope that this is not understood as bumping up an old topic, but a lot of postings here were lost in the server crash and I wish to say thank you because the prizes arrived yesterday. Thank you very much Angeli for the fine stuff you sent me. You gave away good things just for the sake of the EB community. And now I have them and I like it. I can encourage everyone to partake in such contests. Winning is fun. I would never have thought that coincidence would choose Fthagnella. In fact, most who call it coincidence would better whisper, especially at night, the warrior beauty does not take things like this lightly.

Lord of the Rings minifigs custom
Wardancer replied to Tomcat RIO's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Adorable. I love the first Arwen and Legolas. And yours is the first new horse I see spraypainted. Looks very clean. I recently sprayed 6 old horses of which only 3 turned out acceptable, none as nice as yours. How did you do that? -
I voted for Haldir. He is the perfect minifigure, except the flesh tone of course, but I guess two ears can easily be painted yellow. I guess avaibility is an important psychological factor for my choice. I have not acquired a Haldir yet, so he still has the aura of the wish. Also he is expensive to get, which makes him look more desirable. If I didn't own 70 CMF elves, I would perhaps have voted for this fig. Elrond is also one of my favourites, but he has this strange silver crotch.

Helms Deep for 106 Euros and free shipping in Germany
Wardancer replied to Wardancer's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Put the set in the shopping cart and then proceed to the cart. Under your article it should say "Gutschein einlösen. If you're not too keen on it, wait a couple of months. I recently bought a Hogwarts for 85 instead of 130 on Ebay Kleinanzeigen, chances are Helms Deep will be cheaper one day as well. -
Greaat figs. Sarumans torso reminds me of Dumbledores. Too bad the baddies have more interesting creatures than the gooddies as is often the case. Where are giant eagles? Where is glow in the dark freaky Galadriel?

Lego 7946 Kingdoms Castle - Modified
Wardancer replied to Lego Ghost's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Really good! Looks like an original set. How does the inside look? -
Angeli's spirit speaks through Gilence to us, speaks to us miraculously from beyond the veil to haunt, to guide and to taunt us once more?! What a Drow that man must have been. Anyway... Good luck for your life in exile.
-
I don't want to turn this into a Angeli memorial thread, but I wish to mention that I often enjoyed what he did here on EB. For some reason, I always imagined an old russian professor in his drow lab. His online persona was one of the very few that stuck out here. Anyway, I believe EB staff know what they do, so I think their decisions are to be respected.

I hope someone makes a real dwarven army soon. With all the old and new dwarves and hobbits that can easily turned into dwarves it should be easy to have regiments of hammer and axe wielding bearded guys in the style of Warhammer dwarven armies.

Sounds like a lot of horses which I look forward to.

When Fthagnella was still Estella, she used to roam the swamps driven by the instinct to make the world a safer place by killing as many swamp creatures as she could slay with her sword. The Elders had always warned her that one day the swamp might change her, that some sentient force might alter her appearance first and then her soul. Many years passed and today Fthagnella rules her swamp at night. No one remembers when the transformation was complete, because no one lived to tell the tale. It is unknown who or what she fights for. All that is said is that her sword no longer harms the flesh, but aims directly at the spirit. When she approaches most do not believe their eyes for what they see: MWardancer When she comes closer, terror strikes:

Depends on the story I guess. The castle ist the only set that can make a closed area. If that is not important, the joust is better, because it is more detailled. If if you like the rugged look of helms deep, go for that. I imagine it has nice features for a film. If it is supposed to be something more noble, take the current Hogwarts and take out all the HP symbols. It has a nice interior and I imagine it can be used for many different scenes. Also it includes a huge variety of figs that can also be used for non Harry Potter stories.

Some time would be nice, I hope to enter a lady soon as well.

The four queens
Wardancer replied to Aveal the black sheep's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
This looks very good! I like the first two best. Maybe Daenery could perhaps use some hint of breasts. Corsei could have some more wrinkles or other details on her skirt piece, but maybe you intended it to be rather straight. A baby dragon that could sit of a figs shoulder would be awesome. -
LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion
Wardancer replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
On Ebay Germany a complete series 8 set plus 2 bonus figures from series 6 can be found for 39.99 Euro. Shipping to Europe. How on earth can this make sense for the seller??
