  1. OK, done. You can download the full inventories for every set I have in the database from here: http://rebrickable.com/downloads I always imagined myself doing some great analysis through all that data but somehow never find the time. I expect someone here to do something awesome with it :)
  2. This is probably the #1 feature I keep getting asked for, and will be the next major feature I add to Rebrickable. It's a lot of work to make it happen while keeping the site as fast as it is, there's a LOT of calculation going on behind the scenes. So I'm still trying to come up with the best way of doing it.
  3. I've been meaning to provide a full download of all set inventories from Rebrickable, but haven't found the time. I will prioritise it and hopefully have something available in the next day or two.
  4. The correct link is: http://www.bricksafe.com/pages/blakbird/Renders/MOCs/Swingloader/
  5. Sooo.... I couldn't help but notice Brickshelf has gone down again, if only there were a better alternative
  6. A supplementary set with just 150 pins :) http://rebrickable.com/sets/1316-1/connector-peg-technic-1987 After excluding all supplementary sets (that I have previously manually identified so might have missed some):
  7. I'm tired so this may be slightly completely wrong... - technic sets only - sum(#pins)/sum(total parts) for all sets in each year
  8. Nice to see I'm not the only one who likes the "drop test" :)
  9. Just finished my review, hope it's useful for anyone trying to decide if it's worth the price: http://rebrickable.com/blog/2013/review-31313-mindstorms-ev3
  10. That's fine, the .jpg at the end is not used by Bricksafe. It would show /image.png/800x600.jpg. It sees the 800x600 (or whatever), resizes the original image and then sends that new file to the browser. All browsers are smart enough to show the image in the correct format regardless of the file extension used, even Internet Explorer!
  11. Please email support@bricksafe.com.
  12. Thanks :) Please send your suggestions to me anyway! Well, that's incredibly annoying. Test: It should work now by adding .jpg to the end, eg /800x600.jpg to get around the forum's requirements. That feels so dirty though :(
  13. You can see the list of parts that are in U42009 and not in 42009, or vice-versa, here: http://rebrickable.com/compare?s1=42009-1&s2=MOC-0853
  14. Not yet, but that is definitely coming.
  15. Ha, of course. You can upload your full sized photos to Bricksafe, and link to it from Eurobricks in an 800x600 resolution just by appending a special code on the URL. My blog post describes how it all works :)
  16. I have created a new website called Bricksafe. You can upload any of your LEGO files/photos there for sharing or safekeeping. I think it offers some great functionality over existing sites, but of course I'm biased :) If you are interested, you can see some more details around it here: http://rebrickable.com/blog/2013/bricksafe.
  17. Sorry it took a bit longer than that to approve it (but I did generate a nicer image for you!)... I've been very busy lately getting a new site up and running. More details coming soon
  18. Do they show the entire model and not just the changes? Wow, that is a huge undertaking!
  19. Looking forward to this, but not looking forward to dismantling my crane to start again!
  20. As annoying as it is to mix up the DBG and Black beams, I would hardly call that time spent "wasted"!
  21. 8070 = Fail 42008 = Fail 42005 = Fail Not very impressive :(
  22. I have created the parts list except for the string, although my count came 4 pieces short: http://rebrickable.com/sets/41999-1/4-x-4-crawler-exclusive-edition-quot;boss-crawlerquot;-co-cr-technic-2013 Also a comparison with the 9398 shows quite a bit in common as expected: http://rebrickable.com/compare?s1=41999-1&s2=9398-1
  23. Almost... build the 42005 from 9398 and nothing else The tyres are different and a few panels are missing but very close. Thanks for the compliment. I try not to be the same as other sites, and just be honest and write what I feel. No matter how embarrassing :)
  24. LEGO sent it to me for free for review as I run a popular online fan site. Unfortunately not. If they did, I seriously doubt I'd risk it the same way! Congrats on the awesome model btw :)
