  1. Apr.14 2020 finalized Dear friends, here I would like to post my finalized LEGO Star Wars Clone Trooper BARC Speeder, as usual, previous MOC design post records had been folded at the end of this post. Since last MOC built of my BARC speeder, almost 1 year pass. Recently TCW S07 is on show and LEGO announced 75280 BARC and AT-RT battle pack as well. All these delightful things encourage me to finalize my BACR speeder MOC evolution tangle. Some time I just stared at the 3D model for quite a while, couldn’t figure out what’s myself prefer... During my MOC polish, there’s very good inspiration from Flickr ID Luca (a.k.a Luca s projects) BARC-speeder with sidecar (https://flic.kr/p/2gDHfAr ) . Especially in our domestic forum, a fan (贴吧用户_5AeVAaG) work out the front engine’s turbo feature within limited space. The key trick of front engine turbo feature, is the MF tool screw driver as below, for sure, per suitable color, 93094 Lipstick is also working fine. Since early of this year my AT-RT MOC evolution, I decide to abandon MF riding position, which need to disassemble MF legs, I knew lots fans feel bad on it, thus, now MF legs print is presentable To ref. the BARC Speeder database (by unusualsuspex, on deviantart), here I built this 15 stud length BARC speeder, if as normally count 3 stud = 1 meter, then just fit the MF scale :) Benefit from the radii of 26047 part, the sidecar is rotatable to display the scene from TCW S04E11. To duplicate myself BARC and AT-RT battle pack, here I combine it with my AT-RT MOC, and a fun of “fake news” leaking box is coming :p Also plus one more couple of BARC and AT-RT, it upgrades toward an “Kiros battle pack PLUS”, LOL With color scheme modified, easy to gain an EP3 91 Recon Corps BARC version. May.30 2019 updated Oct. 2018 modification Sept. 2018 first try
  2. HUGE! and looking forward a transparent support to show it floating
  3. Venator ! That's what I'm interesting in
  4. this one should win LEGO IDEA awards
  5. come on! please at least put a pic beside youtube, in case I didn't access VPN yet, you know... upset
  6. Always love your creating, it's my favor style: small by capture MF scale very well. And now you make a list!
  7. So great to see my dear friend is falling in the black-hole of LEGO star wars and it's good inspiration for me about how to show my MOC in a fun method.
  8. Hey! your city is growing more and more happy! Dreaming to living inn there :) Close to the end of this animation, I almost supposed that dog will eat the hot-dog. LOL BTW, ever you be in SDCC this year?
  9. I think current MF Clones' variant is fine, but just hope LEGO release some more battle pack with phase II armor, no matter SW541 or 501st or 202nd, From the trailer, we could suppose the story line is quite close to 20-19BBY (after S05E20).
  10. Aye! me too, enjoy the old animation version clone war MF much than current so call movie-version. Unfortunately, since Disney took over and LEGO changed to normal silkscreen for MF heads during Rebel season. I aye Sir, be eager for the official version Bo-Katan, otherwise we could only access 3rd part. Actually, be so exciting and couldn't help re-creating the trailer for fun.
  11. Me neither, I also thought those shooter were just for fun, build as more as operational function they could, just like 7675 AT-TE contains many spring shooters, and we just put them away and replaced with good features.
  12. one hour after this scene, it will be... And then...
  13. polishing pastes, the enhance type of tooth paste, please ref. my post below: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/162495-to-gain-sw541-clone-trooper-with-phase-2-armor/
  14. Wonderful set, and I got a vision, with this one and relevant sets, fans can represent the lastest book of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child", with comic or stop-motion Animation. BTW, the new short-movable-legs is a good design, can be use in many series, e.g. star wars. looking forward to see its further apprication, as the new skirt 36036 does.
  15. very nice reference! recently I just finished a LAAT/i MOC and LAAT/c is the next one, prior to it, a suitable size AT-TE is requested (then it will finial decide LAAT/c size and structure) Oh, btw, your flickr photos also show 2 AT-RT w/ AT-TE, it also be wonderful idea for my reference, will take some inspiration from them to improve my full-crouching AT-RT later.
  16. very detail scene! from the 1st pic, I just imaged there will be some special view point could show unique scale-view and depth of focus, it turns out, pic of Kylo's shuttle does. It's good inspiration for me per how to combine MF and mid-scale vehicles in a scene, and still keep the harmonious. Otherwise paradox of "to keep MF scale" and "to save space" will always suffer me.
  17. Thanks to stormtroopercaptain gave a brief of variant history, some information is also new to me. I'm not familiar with old legends universe, only had movies and TV-Plays, for our common favorite, here's my observation, and that's why I would like to specify "Clone wars" version in the title. Republic Gunship, a.k.a LAAT/i (Low-Altitude Assault Transport/infantry), first showed In the movie EP2:AOTC, and in EP3 also curried Windu for arresting Palpatine. While 2002 EP2, DK published [Star Wars - Incredible Cross-sections - Episode II - Attack of the Clones] and introduced the LAAT/i, data showed it's about 17m length and could deliver 30 Clone troopers, it's platoon level. (please click below fig. for larger view) I don't think it's proper, even from a science fiction, it still be some design conception and logic, till TV-Play The Clone Wars on showed, it was corrected. from the cabin inner view, it's pretty narrow, and seems squad level troopers capacity. 2011, During TV-Play showing, DK published [Star Wars - The Clone Wars - Incredible Vehicles], it keep the data of length about 17m. From movie version, we noticed, per the side doors, there always be only rear one, thus, it's an variant could only apply with in the low altitude of the atmosphere. But TCW version, Just like you said, be more enclose, always show both front and rear side doors, with damper plate on it, could assault through the atmosphere. TCW version has many function options, side ball turrets, searchlight...or just for trooper delivery.
  18. Thanks for asking, it does show some difference between movie EP2:ATOC and both 2D and 3D animation TCW, please let me share some of my observation in following reply to stormtroopercaptain All 3 set of LEGO Republic Gunship (7163,7676,75021) were referring movie version, and be larger and larger...
  19. Dear LEGO Star Wars / Clone Wars fans, here I would like to present the MOC of my most favor vehicle, the Clone Wars Republic Gunship. Since starting the re-design from 75021, it costed me about 4 months. Hope you enjoy. Padmé is the key MF I would like to collect, and EP2 version was only appeared in 75021, it's good for me to get both of my favor things in one set. But I felt 75021 is too large for MF scale, and after referred Rebrickable MOCs, I really enjoy the outside feature by @JBB_777, unfortunately, the capacity of it is limited. Thus, I designed my own base 75021, actually, about 90% components are from this set. Just try to be more fit to MF scale. (below fig. left one is 75021 set, right one is this MOC) Further more, with previous MOC of full crouching AT-RT, it could represent the delivery of AT-RT in S04E07. Also try to keep as more as open-able function and gain more fun. To refer S01E13 is my original intention, as Republic Gunship's conception is extended from AH-60 black hawk, to deliver squad level troopers and close front weapon support are what it means to be. Finally, even be not so heavy like original 75021 set, it still be some weight, plus so many operate-able features, make me hard to handle it. So there's a flipping and folding cover on the top, with the girder hanging, could lift it easy.
  20. Both clones' phase I armor and phase II armor? you are meaning the plastic material may stick to each other by presspassung between the helmets and heads? Wow... I will pay attention on them, your idea is referable, maybe I should disassemble all my clones for storing. Thanks! and how about others minifigures? e.g. Jedi...is it possible to become squeak on arms or legs.
  21. I can't help imaging the movie scene with your fun MoC series, just made a gif for you. And you do inspire me to apply this size-change series on my recent MoC of republic gunship.
  22. Yes, just removed it, but strongly recommend, DON'T apply any solvent base cleaner, they are chemical, hard to control and negative effect. Polish pastes are physical (e.g. TAMIYA), with some soft toothpick, could wipe it carefully, and even keep some original battle-damage-mark from 75036 helmets.
  23. Dear LEGO Star wars fans, if you also be interesting in Clone Wars theme, phase 2 armor troopers may attract you as it did to me. But SW541 is only appeared in few sets, e.g. 75028 or 2013 advent calendar... And I was upset last year preview of 75206 finally released with Phase I armor troopers. So I collected 75036 helmets and remove the silkscreen by polish pastes very carefully... Thus, I could collect platoon level phase 2 troopers at the end. I guess it maybe also an option for your reference. BTW, the logo in LEGO clone phase 2 helmet is really tiny
  24. I applied the legs with 1x3 tiles on R2-D2 as well, just for space saving
  25. 75036 set of 212 battalion also involved? I was thinking they were reported to Obi-Wan, the guy sitting in the fighter
