Looks great LD! Reminds me of the hobbits hiding under the tree in the first book! I like the colour combo in this one. The way you put the plates in different angels makes it even better!

No I think SK meant DM! Anyway, now I´m writing in your thread! A nice little moc! Nice texturing in the wall! I do feel the walls are very low! In Albion the walls of the inner sanctum should be about 25 bricks high. Right now a soldier on a horse could scale the walls. Perhaps add a street to the inner part of the wall? It´s hard to come with input when all you say to the guys coming with suggestions is that this was a quicky. Try to take in as much of the critique you get as you will grow as a builder when doing so. I understand that you want to build as much as you can for Avalonia now as a new member but remember to reflect of what others say to you and keep that in mind for the next moc. Hope you don´t feel offended by my post, I really like the moc, but I thought I would share some tips!

Brickboy: Nice little moc. Great to see a white background! Perhaps add more details? Like coobles on the ground, more colours on the ground. A tree in the background? Different heights? Have the hanging rack in the same coluor? Right now the fella is hanging over the trap door. Shouldn´t he be hangning down into it? Just some tips! These will be in a coming moc for Avalonia! A little prelude to the challenge! -
Looks great SK! The wall technique sure looks intresting! May have to try that on a wall of my own! The smoke effect tricked me! I thought it was cotton at first! But that has to be the most boring job in Historica! Just sitting around in the cold, throwing some logs in the fire and now and then buy some fur!

Brickboy:Some tip from me.. That pic is really large. Perhaps shrink it a little? The focus of the pic is right now on the background which make your sigfig really blurry. And perhaps dust your lego as it looks really dusty Not meant to be harsch, just some friendly advice. I hope you feel welcome into the Great Guild of Avalonia! -

If you read on the first page of this thread and my answer to Brickboy a couple of days ago you will see... Search and you will find! The foundation (in studs) of a moderate sized house in Albion would be approximately 20 x 16. Tradesman halls, stables, and other buildings would naturally be somewhat larger.

This is huge DM! Like it a lot! The amount of figs are overwhelming and this feels like the LOTR and the siege of Minas Tirith! I agree with Gabe about the editing, maybe try gimp? it´s free and very easy to use!

Do we have to claim figs now? When we started this whole thing one of the main things was that we could take which faction we wanted and use it in the guild we belonged to... I´ve used Eomer many times now in my mocs and I´m planning on using him in upcoming as well! Everyone should feel free to use whatever fig he/she want´s to... -

Well of course they are mocs in the higher league but the colours and all the angles make this one so nice! The front garden with the fences... Now I saw the hinges to the doors! Wow!

Great scene! The bones adds a lot to the moc! And of course Mitgardians can have dk green torsos! That´s the beauty with GoH! We even have orcs in Avalonia!

Nice Moc! Fits perfect into our Great Guild! One thing you can imrpove though is the minifig posing. I assume they are marching to Mpya Stedor but they are all standing still...? And pergaps move some of the heads so they are looking more alive
