The story of Lord Mortis - Part 2 [Freebuild]
de Gothia replied to Jorrith's topic in Guilds of Historica
This is exactly how I envisioned my CH build for Nocturnus (it came out totally different though!) and I love that you nailed it so darn good! The height and deep in the moc is just wow! My favourite thing is how you placed the bush near the rocks, looks so good when see it in front! -
Great looking figures! The tower looks promising but lack protection on the top...

Holy...! This is amazing ME! The great hall with the two stairs and the door is just outstanding! Great work! -
The autumn was here with crisp, clear and sunny days. In Sionnach the daily life went on as usual. The baker was busy bringing the flour in to his bakery. The cooper decided to take a stroll down to the bakery to buy some breakfast. In front of the inn Foxy Fox, Alroy the inn keeper noticed a small group of soldiers making their way up to de Gothias castle. These days with Sionnach growing, foreign people was a common sight in the streets of the city. But not every one had good intentions.. C&C as always, most welcome! I would like to claim Hss Hospitality; Bakery Hss Hospitality lodging; Inn Hss Craftsmen general goods; Cooper

de Gothia replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
Wow Gid that looks spectacular! Will it be in Uppsala? You have to bring your builds there somehow! To bad you want attend! Would be nice to talk to you again! -
Yes, your best so far! Great posings, photos (black is hard to photograph!!) and so many details! The only nitpick would be the small doors on the gate... They look out of place...

de Gothia replied to Gunman's topic in Guilds of Historica
And strike again!! What can I say Gunman, you nailed it again! Bravo! -
That bellow is such a win for me! Have to use that in my own mocs! Nice to see some wips of your tools!

Much better light in this moc! A cosy little home that could use some more details outside!
-
Looks promising and I´m looking forward to phase two! The photos could use some work though, skip the flash or the lamp to the left. Try to find some more natural light (like outside)

Great story and the moc is looking promising. I know that brick limitatons can be frustrating... But the whole thing looks rather unfinished to me... There are gaps (windows?) and the bricks are not connected properly. Try to take some photos showing the whole moc, right now the pic is cut off in the corners. Do not use the flash, go outdside on a cloudy day instead I hope you take my critcism in the right way. I hope to see you develop your moccing skills and I just want to help you on the way!
-
Much emotions in your bricks! Great work capturing that! Try not to use the flash or the direct sunlight to avoid the shadows
-
Looking good for sure! The grassy area in front of the wall is a great touch according to me! The minifigs could use some more posings! Right now they all look in the same direction (and it´s not towards the rider leaving). Arrow slits on the first floor is rare, archers from the attacking side coulkd easily get near and kill the defenders..

Looks really good! The wall adds really much to this! However I wish the photo was horizontal, now it looks like the whole moc is about to tip!

HSS Hospitality & Merchant: Tavern and Ale Trader
de Gothia replied to Bregir's topic in Guilds of Historica
Lovely design! The colours works really good togheter! Some nitpicks: It should be a path leading to the inn? Right now there is grass... Some more horizontal plates in brown on the second floor? Great work all around though!- 21 replies

I just love your builds and this one is no exception! For me the rocks and the path are looking really good! The little orc getting water is just epic! Looks so real!
-
This fits so well in to our beloved Avalonia! The first floor with all the details are great! Nice to see that you can take of the second floor to show the details!

You have such an own and epic style Gunman! I really love this! The tree, the figs and the helmets and hats (the four guilds?) in the corners are my favourites!
