  1. New sets have been sent to reviewers, but they have not been yet officially presented We only have images taken from the Japanese catalogue
  2. This one was also on my wishes list for this contest. Good luck!
  3. Interesting speculation, I also expect a Volvo model next year, but my hopes are for a tracked excavator (maybe a demolition excavator?) because all Volvo models made up to know are wheeled and I would like something different...
  4. Also on the official website: https://legotechnicsian.com/
  5. They say they've produced 20 new special pieces for this real size Sian!
  6. I'm doing your exact thing for my personal collection (not for the contest) and I'm very curious to see how yours will turn out. I'm fighting to fit new (long) pneumatics to raise the boom, but they simply don't fit Will you use the original pneumatic actuators?
  7. I didn't know that the 2L frictionless pin existed in yellow: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=3673&colorID=3&in=A
  8. This model is the perfect example to show how the choice of wheels is important in a car model. With RC wheels it just looks wow!
  9. I think there are some black or DBG panels also to cover the platform on the sides of the crane.
  10. Those new mid size tractor wheels on the Zetros give me a lot of hope to see a new pneumatic backhoe loader soon... Making it with 4 claas wheels would result too big... but with 4 zetros wheels sounds perfect !
  11. I doubt, because it ends with holes on the side.
  12. I'm glad you used my Daf as a starting point The trailer is very nice!
  13. At the end I did not apply but I'm not surprised Sariel's was not succesful, making great mocs is not the only requirement to be an official Lego Technic designer
  14. Some progress on the truck: It has opening doors and HoG steering. I also added 2 blue seats.
  15. Yes, you are right, for sure it is a perfect re-edition of the original one. I think the main issue with this contest is that old Technic models and old “System” models are not separated into 2 different categories: old Technic models can be actually reproduced almost perfectly, with the same scale and functions, “System” models require more creativity to become “Technic” and recognizable in the same time.
  16. What a progress! Almost completed In my opinion it looks too much similar to the old one, I must zoom the photos to see it is studless and I don't know if it is a plus. Maybe you can replace the old knobs with some more "currently in use" knows, like the ones in set 42108? And maybe add some panels?
  17. They are perfect! But they are discontinued now, I prefer to use current parts
  18. My entry for the TC20 contest will be one of my childhood dream sets: 6335. I chose 30.4mm tires for the truck, which have a look similar to the original ones, so the overall dimension of the set will be 1,5 bigger than the original. I only started the chassis of the truck, this is a preliminary photo:
  19. This is one of my favourite Technic models of the past! The wheels are the correct scale, don't forget to use the right colors to have the best resemblance of the original. I like how you made the fuel tank!
  20. I have a question: I know that new members cannot vote, but can they enter the contest? I talked about this contest to a friend of mine, but he is not registered to Eurobricks.
